As of 8 December, you have 12 days for this Activity. Note that the Christmas Snowman is a cleanable Decoration but the colour of Gift Box is linked to the level you have completed . For example, a completed Level 3 Christmas Snowman gives a Silver Gift Box when cleaned. Note that today, there are glitches in the system. When my Lab landed on squares with Snow Gift Boxes, often I did not receive them. When I landed on task squares, often was not given the task.
The Fortune Hunt Activity is the board game with the little Lab wherein you roll the die in the centre of the board and the dog runs to the space designated. You will find the Snow Gift Boxes needed to build the Snowman here. You will receive 6 Die casts initially. The squares on the Board include little tasks as well as Snow Gift Boxes and Snow Gift Boxes are given as well when you complete the Board at specific intervals. Die rolls will be given again at each reset or you can purchase more for 1 RC. You need to tap on the big red Die in the centre of the Board to roll it.
Level Requirements and 'building' or 'upgrade' times now have been logged below. It is a little more complex than I first realised. Each Level has a number of different stages to complete, represented by spades above the Snowman icon and like a Buddy Tree, the Decoration takes time to upgrade. Unlike a Buddy Tree, however, you can pay to speed the process. When you complete a step, the Snowman takes time to complete its 'upgrading' after you provide all the items required. At Level 4, you need to pay over 350 TC if you wish to speed this and move forward immediately. It is not that long a wait, however. It is when you reach Level 5 that the cost becomes rather prohibitive, but if you wait 4 hours, you can move forward. At Level 6, the final Level, the waiting period is 6 hours and over 1000 TC cost to speed. The game does not wish to encourage early completion, in other words. It is an ongoing Advent project.
Here is a list of all Materials by type. As you will see, there is one Stove House Recipe that is required in three separate steps. It is the Caramel Almond Pie and you can buy it in the Stove House section of the Market for 9 RC if you did not obtain it as a Reward in the original Collection Mission to which it was linked. It is a simple dish. Simply place all ingredients and cook until the 'Finish' option appears within a few seconds.

What is a little disgusting is that the Gift Box is degraded when you complete Level 5 to a Purple Gift Box. It only becomes a Blue Gift Box when you complete Level 6.
