There is a new time-restricted Quest in tandem with a Collection Mission.
The reward for completing the Collection Mission is a new Stove House Recipe in the form of the Winter Cake Recipe. For low level farmers, I always suggest that you complete the Collection Mission first. If you cannot complete the traditional Quest sequence, you may be able to access it again from the Lighthouse after expiration of this time, but the Reward from any Collection Mission will have to be purchased for RC.
The reward for completing the traditional Quest is a Holiday Elf Decoration that is stackable on the Snow Base. A nice gesture is the Christmas Package Reward when you complete Part 8. It contains 6 Christmas Fences.
