Museum Tour Quest and Antique Seal Collection

Note from Freyashawk:  I want to thank every one who votes for my farm in the Beauty Contest.  With total honesty, that support inspires me to continue to update this site.  I am grateful for the kind messages as well.  It is the real people whom I have come to know and consider my friends who keep me in this game now.  In knowing their own stories, I realise there is a great deal of pain, suffering and loss in the lives of so many.  I certainly never think my own struggle is unique.  If I can make this game a little easier, a little more fun for any one else, that is my continuing  motivation.  Illness and pain of any kind can be a terrible force that diminishes the ability and even desire to work out new options in a game... so I do what I can still to create a verbal 'map' for those who may find it helpful.

The world and especially social media has become increaingly indifferent or unconscious of the fsct that we all are real human beings, whatever our opinions or loyalties.  I believe a game like this gives us a reminder of that shared humanity when we have neighbours from every part of the world.  At least that is my hope.  Do not be too quick to let labels take the place of real lives or succumb to fearmongering.  Hope is found in tolerance and acceptance of the differences between people and cultures.  One aspect of Seaside I always liked was the window it provided to view other cultures and traditions.  Sadly I see a little less of that now in the Quests but I suppose it is difficult to produce new content constantly.  It still does include food dishes from every culture still if not the wonderful diverse festivals that once distinguished the Quest narratives.

In any event, I am grateful for all the kindness shown to me and hope you will continue to stay in Seaside whether or not you wish to do anything more than spend a few moments on your own farms.  You created and sustained your farm.  Please do not let increasing game pressures affect you to the point of leaving.  You will be missed!

Magical Slumber, Aurora Treasure Island

Post completed unless questions are asked.  See older Treasure Island walkthroughs for information about use of temporary Energy bar and Trading Fountain.  I have included the materials needed to complete all stages of the new Float.

You have a fortnight to complete this.

This Quest begins inside a Palace and you will find the Trader here next to the Trading Energy Fountain.  The final Reward from the Trader is a choice between a Snow Globe Machine or 1000 Energy.
You usually find the final toy in the form of a Toy Sailboat on one of the very last screens so you need to complete this Quest really if you do not have this machine.  The items from Treasure Island machine Rewards are requested often, although there is no need to feed a little Dragon everything it wants!  Nowadays mine wait patiently for months to be hatched or be served a meal.

Be aware that all the options released in Seaside now are connected.  If you have an Energy Fountain on your Cloud Farm, the Energy you use on Treasure Island will count and can be replenished with water jugs from the Fountain.  If you have not completed your Card Collection, three of the Star rewadds include card packs.

The most important reward is the new Mug Machine.

Star Rewards:
50 Stars: 100 E 5 Diamonds
100: 200 E 5 Diamonds
200: 200 E, Rose Fairy Avatar
350: 200 E 10 Diamonds
500: 10 Diamonds, Rose Lamp
700: 300 E 15 Dismonds, 4 Star Gold Card Pack
900: 300 E 15 Diamonds Roses and Thorns Avatar Frame
1100: 450 E, 20 Diamonds, Mug Machine
1300: 20 Diamonds, Animated Rose Fairy Avatar, Rose Dream
1400: 450 E, 30 Diamonds, 5 Star Card Pack
1500: 45 Diamonds, 5 Star Card Pack, 5 Star Gold Card Pack

The Float is a Thorn Rose Fairy Float.  Once built and sent to Seaside, you will find it in the first tab labelled Band. It gives 15 Power every 6 hours when placed in your Parade.

I am not writing a blow by blow walkthrough now because it really is not needed.  My walkthroughs from past Treasure Islands show how it works.  I will try to keep notes but generally about 7000 Energy is required to complete any Treasure Island activity.  Watch for the temporary Energy bar to appear.  It will start at a total of 100.  By the end of the Quest, the total will be 400.
The Trading Fountain can be upgraded to give 200 Energy.

I think it is useful to open all areas including those that require Golden Tools.  I purchase the offers that include these tools as well as using my Diamonds in lieu of a tool I lack.

Pay attention to the Star tasks as there are objects that are counted for rewards and others that are not counted.  Clearing Bushes and Grass always count.  Trees and Rocks do not count.

The item that is received whenever you clear ANY object is a Rose Wreath.  You will require a large number of these near the end.  Unlike Grass and Branches, these do not carry over to the next Treasure Island.

First Factory makes Framed Flowers:
1 Framed Flower: 2 Roses, 3 Grass
4 Framed Flowers: 8 Roses, 12 Grass

Mary Surprise Cows:

1st Cow:
2nd Mary Cow on 2nd Map:

Polo Match Quest and Polo Helmet Mission

(Detail of my farm showing the koinobori Crop:  I tried to increase my Landscape Points after the change in the rules for rank in the Beauty Contest, but I will not sacrifive my farm to this.  My farm is very personal kandscape where you can find little alcoves and corners that represent every them that has been used in Seaside.  You can see the Crops that were in the market briefly years ago as well as Decorations that have not been made available again.  I always thought of it as my Sanctuary from a wirld that has brought me a lot os difficukt chalkenges, including pbysical disability and cancer.  So I well understand the farmers who play this game because it is one thing they still can do after suffering a change in their real lives that limits them now.  I continue to update this site to try to eliminate some of the stress and make certain the game is fun rather than frustrsting when new options are released.)

Note from Freyashawk:
As always, I hope that farmers who find this site useful will vote for my farm.  Moreover, almost all the information about permanent Quests since the game was released is on this site.  I make no money from this, but it upsets me when farners do not know that the information they need probably has been published here.  So please let your farm neighbours know that Lighthouse Quests are here.  When the original quest was modified, I did not publish new posts but a lot of the details are the same.  There is a Search option on the site.
All the Uncle Carlos Quests are here.  Most of the information about the Cloud Farm is here.  I have yet to publish a post with the most recent updates, but I have experienced yet another loss in my life in the past week alone and it is a struggle to deal with the loss of those we love; no matter whether human or beloved animal companion.

Jasper died on the 5th of May.  That is the day celebrated in Japsn as Childrens' Day (formerly Boys' Day).  One of the aspects of this is the flying of carp banners known as koinobori.  The carp represents strength and determination.  A koinobori plant crop was released temporarily in Seaside many years ago.  It is one of my favourite crops so I never harvest the ones that remain on my farm.  From time to time, I beg Support to consider releasing it as a permanent Crop.  We all need strength and determination to swim upstream against the tide sometimes.  The original Quest is in the Lighthouse but the rewards probably have changed.  In those days, tbough, the developers created stories to accompany the tasks and I included real details about these events in my posts as well as those stories.  The game has changed a great deal dince then, but I continue to advocate the return of this powerfully symbolic Crop that, in the form of windsocks and banners is seen throughout Japan on the 5th of May.

I want to dedicate this post to Jasper, who was the best and most faithful of companions.  He was born almost two decades ago in my lap and died by my side, brave, loving and uncomplaining to the very end.

(I had to pay 5 RC because my Pets had dug all the paths during the night and I needed to publish this now and not tomorrow.)
