Time-Restricted Torch Festival and Torch Collections Mission

A new time-restricted Quest and Collections Mission has been released in Family Farm Seaside.  It deals with a Chinese Torch Festival.  The traditional Torch Festival Quest sequence operates in tandem with a Collections Mission.  The reward for completing the Collections Mission is an Arugula Bush.  This is a Collectable, which means that you cannot purchase it in the Market at this point in time.  Furthermore, there is no way to speed the production of any 'Collectable'.  Your strategy therefore should be to complete the Collections Mission as quickly as possible as Arugula will be needed to complete the traditional Quest sequence.

The new format for the time-restricted traditional Quests is 15 Steps rather than the old 12 Steps.  Rewards are given after completion of Torch Festival IV, Torch Festival VIII and finally Torch Festival XV.  You will receive a special Mission Gift Box for completing Torch Festival IV.  When you complete Torch Festival VIII, you will receive a Lacquer Horn Decoration for your original Seaside Farm.  When you complete Torch Festival XII, you will receive a Special Mission Island Gift Box containing various Farm Aids and finally, at the very end of the sequence, you will receive a Chinese Yi Doll Decoration for your Island Farm.

Strategies for Mission
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I recently borrowed a friend's Kindle to start a new farm to see how difficult it would be to complete some of these Quests and Missions as well as how difficult it would be to play this game without investing in RC.  I was able to level up quickly but came to a virtual standstill where the time-restricted Quests were concerned mainly because I had insufficient RC (only 1 RC given per level increase) to purchase many of the Trees that are needed.  There is a solution, however, although it is much harder if you are playing on the Kindle.  Many of the premium Trees appear randomly in the Mystery Store for Green Mystrons.  Unfortunately, the advertising balloons carrying Green Mystrons have been disabled on the Kindle because of glitches in the system so it is more difficult to earn them if you are playing on that platform.

Do remember this, though, if you need a premium tree and do not have enough RC to buy it.  It will take a long time to amass them using only Green Mystrons but I expect it can be done in time.

As far as other strategies are concerned, where any time-restricted Mission has a Collectable as the Reward for the Collections Mission, you will NOT be able to purchase it in the Market while the Mission is ongoing.  Some of the Collectables never have been added to the Market.  Your first priority, therefore, should be to complete the Collections Mission.  You need to be able to place the Arugula Bush in Torch Festival VII, so you do have time to complete some of the Torch Festival tasks in conjunction with the Collections Mission.

Arugula is needed in Torch Festival IX.  The amount of Arugula you will obtain whenever the Bush is ready to be harvested is random.  If you are impatient, you may prefer to pay your way out of this by purchasing the Arugula needed for the Recipe.  I obtained only ONE Arugula the first time I harvested my Arugula Bush.

As always, the more completed Dishes you have in your Barn, the less difficult it will be to make the Recipes required.  Many of the ingredients ARE Cooked Dishes themselves.  Make these in advance whenever possible.  Power always is limited but if you perform all your Daily Tasks, including visits to Neighbours, you should have plenty of Power in your Gift Box.  I save mine for Missions and Quests like these.  I have included Ingredients wherever possible in the descriptions of the Tasks.

Torch Festival X through Torch Festival XV include Island Tasks, making access to the Island necessary unless you are willing to spend huge amounts of RC to skip Island Tasks.  Remember that the actual requirements for being able to perform an Island Task will depend on your Mastery of Machines and your Dev Point total.  My Island Guide gives all the requirements for each Machine and Item.  Some Island Tasks in this Mission require items from the Seaside Farm.  Read the descriptions of the Tasks and, if the actual transport of the item in question is not a Task as well, send the items to the Island in advance.

I never can stress the importance of making and keeping 'basic recipes' or 'staples' in your Barn.  They are used again and again and, as every Cooked Dish requires 1 Power to make, having them available in advance for use is a real help.  Among the basics needed here are Condensed Milk, Soft Dough and Honey Syrup.  You never can have enough of these items...

One of the Cooked Dishes required to complete a task is Lemon Fish.   This is a dish that was required in the most recent round of the Cooking Stand Contest, so you may find that your stores of Butterfish now have been exhausted.  Remember always that you can use the 'Boost' to catch precisely the item you need when fishing.  It makes fishing so much less frustrating!

It may be worth mentioning the Daily Task list in this context.  Recently, this new option was introduced to the game.  It features in the final material needed to complete the Mini-Garden as you need to be able to open the first Treasure Chest on the path each day in order to find the Iron Pots you need.  Every other day, an Iron Pot will be included in the contents of the first Treasure Chest.  The reason I mention it here, however, is that it is a good way to amass the Farm Aids you need for time-restricted Quests.  The third and final Gold Chest actually contains 1 Yellow Mystron as well!

Sky's the Limit Quest and Planets Collection Mission

A new time-restricted Quest has been released.  As usual, it is two-pronged, with a Collections Mission that goes with a traditional Quest sequence.  The Reward for the Collections Mission is a new Tree in the form of a Macadamia Tree.  If you do not wish to complete the Collections Mission, you can purchase the Tree in the Market for 7 RC.

Note that one of the items from which a Planet is collected is a Pomegranate Tree.  This can be purchased in the Market if you do not have one but it is part of a special sale offer released today as well.  The sale gives you the Pomegranate Tree with a Smoothie Table Decoration that yields a Silver Cleaning Box when cleaned as well as 8 RC for USD $3.99.  Depending on where you play this game, currency will vary.  Another sale offer gives you a White Goat with 18 RC and a Washbasin Decoration that yields a Golden Cleaning Gift Box. There are other items for sale as well, but these are the ones that dovetail with the Mission.

The traditional Quest sequence follows the usual pattern, with three different Rewards that are obtained when you complete specific Parts of the sequence.  There are a couple of changes however.  There are 15 Parts now instead of 12.  The Special Mission Gift Box is received when you complete Sky's the Limit V and the Robovase Decoration for your Seaside Farm is received when you complete Sky's the Limit X.   When you complete Sky's the Limit XV, you will receive a Decoration for the Island.

Note that, at this point in time, there is no ability yet to register the Reward Decorations.  There is no Collection to register either.  No doubt these options will be added soon and when they are, the Rewards for doing so will be added to this post.

They are making these time-restricted Quests more arduous, at least for the low-level players and I am not certain this is the best policy, especially when we are dealing with so many new Tasks and Activities, including the Mini Garden Party.  In any event, all details follow:

Obtaining Farm Aids in Family Farm Seaside

Once upon a time, in the early days of Seaside, it was difficult to obtain Farm Aids such as Fertiliser, Watering Cans and OP.  Later, with the advent of Cooking and Crafting and all sorts of other options, including the Mystery Shop, one needed far more, including Yellow Mystrons, Green Mystrons, Power, as well as Island items including Electric Saws.  One can purchase everything but Mystrons in the Market but there are other ways to obtain these valuable items.

First, there is the Dedicated Farm Bonus, accessed through a small treasure chest at the top of your screen.  Tap on this whenever it is full to obtain Coins and a Gift Bag.

There are the Daily Quests as well, with three different treasure Chests.  Each contains Farm Aids but the third, Gold Treasure Chest, obtained only when you complete every task but one, contains a Yellow Mystron.  A single Yellow Mystron may not have much purchasing power, but they do add up through time.

Visiting Neighbours is a very good way to earn Farm Aids.  Whenever you clean a Decoration, you will earn a Gift Box.    The Blue and Gold Gift Boxes usually contain the best items, but they all are worth the effort.  By visiting your Neighbours, you earn Coins and XP as well and the task of visiting 12 Neighbours in any given day is one of your Daily Tasks.

Keeping Cleanable Decorations on your own Farm is another way to earn Items.  Again, the Decorations that give the Blue and Gold Gift Boxes tend to be the most valuable, but any Gift Box will contain some Rewards.  Note that the actual contents of any of these Boxes or Bags is random, apart from the Special Mission Gift Box that always contains a set group of items.

One more way to earn Farm Aids is through the Cooking Stand Contest.  This is not always current, as there is a little hiatus between the end of one Contest and the beginning of the next, but you usually find a Contest in progress.  Whenever you visit a Neighbour, look for his/her Cooking Stand.  If there is the icon of a Roast Turkey above it, tap on it to obtain a special Gift Bag that will contain a random assortment of Farm Aids.  This benefits your Neighbour as well, as completion of any Contest depends on your Neighbours' participation in 'eating' at your Stand.  The final Reward of any Cooking Stand Contest is a Cleanable Decoration that yields the coveted Blue Gift Box.

Sometimes you can obtain a special item when you fish.  These are associated with specific catches.  They are not terribly significant but should be mentioned.

Farm Aids can be earned by completing Achievements.   Final Achievements give 1 or 2 RC even.

If you have access to the Island and have unlocked the Mine, you can obtain Farm Aids randomly when you ask a Neighbour to help with an explosion.  There is a special pink bomb that appears randomly and gives Farm Aids instead of the usual Ores and other Mine items when the Explosion occurs.

In this context, one should mention the Mystery Shop or Store.  You will find an icon on the top left when you access the Market that will take you to the Mystery Shop.  It now has been expanded to include four different screens.  They are: Coins, Green Mystrons, Blue Mystrons and Yellow Mystrons.

The Coin Shop can be refreshed to allow you to purchase more items once you have purchased as many as you want from the current screen.  Note that the items that appear will be different depending on the Farm you currently are visiting.  It is only when you are on your Island Farm that you will see any of the Flowers for the Flower Garden, for example,   i find it helpful to access the Coin Shop only when I am on the Island because Seaside items and Island Items then will appear in the Coin Shop.

The actual Items that appear in the Green, Blue and Yellow Mystrons screens change on a daily basis.  New players may find it most helpful to purchase Cleanable Decorations when they appear in the Yellow Mystrons Shop, although I like some of the non-cleanable Decorations so much that I purchase them instead.  Earning 100 Yellow Mystrons, the price for any item, can be a slow process.  From time to time, special Sales are offered that include a Decoration that will yield Yellow Mystrons when cleaned for a scecific number of days, after which it will yield an ordinary Cleaning Gift Box.

Completing the Weekly Activity, accessed through the Magic Bunny, will give you 10 Yellow Mystrons.  Yellow Mystrons allow you to obtain Decorations that were given as Rewards for time-restricted Quests, although Final Rewards are not included.

Another method by which to obtain Yellow Mystrons, albeit slowly, is to complete ALL of your Daily Quests but one.  There are three different treasure chests, all containing Farm Aids that can be opened when you obtain specific point totals by completing specific tasks, such as using your Machines, Fishing, completing Helicopter Orders and so on.  When you have obtained a total of 300 Points in any given day, you will be able to open the final Gold Treasure Chest.  I have noticed that it always appears to contain 1 Yellow Mystron.  As I wrote previously, it is a SLOW way to earn these, but one still does increase the total as well as obtaining other valuable aids.

It is the Blue Mystron Shop that allows one to purchase Final Reward Decorations that you missed, but you will not be able to earn these until you have obtained ALL the Rewards from your Daily Order Board.  There is a specific chain of Rewards that includes all the special Sheep... once you have completed all of these, you will begin to earn Blue Mystrons.

Green Mystrons often are the Rewards for registering a specific item in your Gallery.  Gallery Registration gives other Farm Aids, including Organic Fertiliser, Super Fertiliser, Watering Cans, Super Watering Cans, Power and OP.

Finally, if you play on certain systems, there is a floating Balloon that travels across your screen, inciting you to watch an advertisement.  if you do so, you will receive 15 Green Mystrons.

I have written other posts on being a good Neighbour.  Here, however, I will mention the value of having Neighbours visit your farm to clean your Decorations.  Three factors are important here:  you really need to visit your own farm as soon as possible after the daily Rewards from Neighbours' cleaning activities appear.  That may be a different time for every time zone.  On the East Coast of the States, for example, it occurs near 8.00 p.m. I believe.  Another factor is that you really should take advantage of the fertilising activities of your Neighbours by harvesting all ripe Crops and Trees as often as possible.  It is discouraging for a Neighbour to visit a Farm where there is NOTHING to do!    I fear that there are Irises on my own farm that I never harvest, because they were a temporary Crop that I cannot replant and they are my favourite of all the Crops, but I do try to harvest everything else as often as possible.  I also keep a number of Decorations that yield the Blue Gift Boxes always on my farm even though it reduces planting space.

As discussed in another post, there are different ways to access your Neighbour List.  One is by Recent Helpers, which probably is the most fair of all.  Another, however, is by 'Fertilisable' which shows Farms that have plots and trees that still can be fertilised.  Another one, for those who want Island Gift Boxes, is to visit only the Island on every Neighbour's Farm.  You can change the option whenever you like to reflect your current mood or needs.  Timing can be important here as well.  If you visit your Neighbours who live in the same time zone too soon after the daily cut off point, you may find that there are icons of megaphones instead of cleaning brushes on top of all their Cleanable Decorations because they have not had time to collect any of them yet!  If you visit popular Neighbours too late in the current day, you may find that there are no good Cleanable Decorations left to clean.  In any event, Neighbour Visits, whether they are yours or your Neighbours', offer a multitude of Rewards, as well as allowing armchair travel to see how other people organise their farms.  There are some gorgeous farms out there!

Island Hopping
xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Recently, I became aware of a problem with the game in terms of the Cooking Stand Contests and Island visits.  It is unfortunate that, whenever you choose 'Island First' when visiting Neighbours, you will not have access to the Cooking Stand, as this is located either on the main farm or the Building Plots outside the main farm.

There are advantages to choosing 'Island First' because the Purple Island Gift Boxes appear to contain the most Farm Aids, including Fertilisers, Super Fertilisers, Watering Cans, Super Watering Cans and the tools used to cut trees on the Island.  In their own fashion, they are equal therefore to the Blue Gift Boxes on the main Farm.  They do appear to grant a fair amount of OP as well randomly.

Cooking Gift Bags, however, are very useful and your Neighbours need visits to the Cooking Stand during a Contest in order to fill their quotas.  What this means, therefore is that a Neighbour who wants both an Island Gift Box and a Cooking Gift Bag essentially has to make TWO visits to the Neighbour's land... one being to the Island Farm and the other being to the Seaside Farm.  Perhaps this will be remedied by the developers soon and they will allow a link to the Building Plots area at least from the Island.

Note that there is a limit to the number of Cleanings of Decorations as well as the number of Cooking Gift Bags that any Farmer can collect in a day.  The limit to the Gift Boxes is very high at 300 and I do not think this varies at all.  Originally, I thought that the number of Cooking Gift Bags depended on the Farmer's Experience Level but I discovered this was not the case at all.  It is your Club Membership that determines many options now in the game.  I discovered this when I purchased a sale item for my second farm and my Club Membership Level increased to Level 9.  An announcement appeared to the effect that I now would have +9 more Power, 10 additional Cooking Bags from Neighbour Visits, 14 more opportunities to use OP instantly to complete Zeppelin Transport (something I have not used much at all), 800 additional Bait and the ability to refresh Daily Orders 6 times if I wished.  Note here that you are not GIVEN 800 Bait, but simply can HAVE 800 more than previously.  This allows easier use of the Boost with the more expensive Fishing Hooks.

A final note:  The Purple Island Gift Boxes tend to be obtained from time-limited Quest Rewards.  Cleanable Island Decorations purchased in the Market or constructed do not give these valuable Gift Boxes.

Roman Holiday Time-Restricted Quest and Italian Gelato Collections Mission

(Two screenshots from the Film, showing the actual inspiration for the two Reward Decorations in the Quest: the Mouth of Truth and the Vespa)

Friday traditionally is the day for the release of a new time-restricted Quest in Family Farm Seaside, and even though the hefty Mini-Garden Quest is current, we do have a new time-restricted Quest sequence and Collections Mission.  In this case, the Reward for the Collections Mission is one of those Collectables, which means that you cannot purchase it in the Market at this point, making it necessary to complete the Collections if you want to be able to complete the traditional Quest sequence without skipping any tasks.

As usual, there are special Rewards after you complete Roman Holiday IV, Roman Holiday VIII and Roman Holiday XII.  The first is a Special Missions Bag containing Farm Aids.  After you complete Roman Holiday VIII, you will receive a Bocca della Verita Decoration for your Seaside Farm.  To complete the final part of the Quest sequence, you need access to the Island and the reward for completing Roman Holiday XII is a Vespa Scooter Decoration for the Island.

History of the Roman Holiday:
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

This is a famous vintage film from 1953 that starred Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck.   I had the privilege of meeting Gregory Peck when he was staying with his wife Veronique in London in the 1970s.  My best friend's Mum was a great friend of Veronique.  Gregory Peck was a man with incredible presence.  Unlike many male leads, he was a tall man in real life.  We got on like a house on fire, mainly because we both had lived in La Jolla as children, albeit in different decades!  In any case, this Quest references the film and you will see Felicia dressed like Audrey Hepburn.  I am not really a fan of films from the 1950s myself but it always is interesting to see where the developers get their ideas.

Preparing for the Quest
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

There are far more time-restricted activities and quests now in Family Farm Seaside than ever before.  You have the Daily Order Board which, depending on your level of experience, can sport 2 to 5 Orders per day.  You have the Mini-Garden weekly quest that requires prodigious amonuts of Crops and Cooking as well as other tasks.  You have the Weekly Activity that gives 10 Yellow Mystrons and this 11 day Quest sequence as well.  A player must weigh the options and choose the ones that he/she feels will be most beneficial.  If you are a high level player, you should be able to complete all of them, provided you have the time and energy to stay in the game for hours.  If you are a low level player, I would suggest that you complete as many of the tasks as possible for the Coin and XP rewards, but do not expect to make it to the end, unless you are willing to spend quite a lot of real money to skp tasks.  As you gain in levels, you will be able to perform more and more of the time-restricted Quests but for now, simply complete the steps that you can.

Items you will need in quantity include Oat Flour, Goose Feathers, Cake Flour, Condensed Milk and Soft Dough.  You always should have quite a lot of Cake Flour, Batter, Condensed Milk and Soft Dough in your Barn as they are used again and again for many different Recipes.  The Mini Garden Quest this week required quite a lot of Cooking so you may need to restock.

One of your first tasks should be to make certain that you have 6 Starfish Mirrors and then transport them to the Island.  Even though you will not need them until later in the Quest sequence, it is good to have them there waiting for the moment when you can use them.  Make certain that you have 6 Wooden Planks as well.  You make those in the Sawmill with Cedar Wood.

The Jackfruit is a Seaside Tree, so you need to make certain that you have 8 of the fruits transported to the Island to store in your Barn there for use in one of the Quest tasks.  I do believe some Mastery of the Dehydrator is required to make Dried Jackfruit so if you have not done so, use your Dehydrator as much as possible to earn the required Mastery points.

In the final task group, you need to produce 60 Wool Yarn.  This means that you have to make certain that you have transported 60 Wool to the Island in advance.

As far as the traditional Quest sequence is concerned, bear in mind the fact that Roman Holiday VI requires that you place a Caper Bush on your Farm.  This means, in effect, that you should complete the Collections Mission by the time you reach Roman Holiday VI.  Certainly, you need to complete it by the time you have harvested the 50 Spinach required as another task in Roman Holliday VI.  Fishing 10 times with the Treble Hook, unless you wish to purchase more fishing tries with RC, will require a bit of a wait once you have fished 7 times.  That gives you more time to complete the Collections Mission...

Garden Party Mission

This is a new type of time-restricted Quest or Mission in Family Farm Seaside.  When you study the various tasks, you will see that it requires a tremendous amount of planting, harvesting and cooking.  It will be interesting to see how the low-level Farm I began on a borrowed Kindle copes with this.   Note that you will not have access to this Mission until you reach Level 16.  I believe this is the Level at which you gain access to any time-restricted Quests.

As of late afternoon on 1 July, the Kindle version of this Mission has a glitch wherein the Mini Garden does not appear in the Market.  You therefore cannot complete even Garden Party I.  By the end of 1 July, however, players were reporting that they had the Mini Garden on the Kindle as well.    If you play on Nook or IPad, you should not have had any problems.

2nd Week of July:  The tasks this time are quite different.  They will not appear in the form of a Quest icon on the left side of your screen.  Instead, go to your Magic Bunny and you will find a tab for the Garden Party Activity.  It will be the top tab that shows a set of Balloons.
Tap on Start and it will take you to your Daily Orders. Note, however, that if you completed all of your Orders yesterday like a good farmer, you will NOT be able to start until the next ones load in a specified number of hours.  Once loaded, you will find that only certain Orders carry the special Picket Reward.  These will show an additional icon in the form of a star with an exclamation point in its centre.  As every game/farmer will have different Orders, there is no point in logging mine for you.  Good luck to every one!

A feeling of dread suddenly as I realise that every week will have a different type of activity, making it likely that one week will focus on fishing and it may be quite similar to the horrible Jack-O-Lantern Machine Quest wherein one had to perform an extraordinary amount of fishing to raise special items from the sea...

Please note that my regular Missions page has been modified to include changes in the beginning of any new game.  By being able to borrow a friend's Kindle briefly, I was able to start a new Farm and log the changes.

The next quest sequence will begin next week.

Strategies for Mission

You have a week to complete all the tasks here.  The first two Quests in the sequence require planting and harvesting.  The third requires Cooking which means that you will need Power to complete the tasks.  If you plan ahead and look at the ingredients needed to prepare the Dishes in Garden Party III, you will see that four of them are Cooked Dishes themselves.  Cake Flour and Batter are staples or basics that are used in many Recipes.  Stockpile these whenever possible.  At this point in time, however, there are so many different new options in Seaside that it may be difficult to save anything!  Nonetheless, try to make 30 Cake Flour and 30 Batter in advance for use in Garden Party III.  Other ingredients needed are Apple Jelly and Light Muffin.  Light Muffin has Cake Flour as an ingredient as well, by the way, making it necessary to prepare an additional 10 Cake Flour if you wish to be ready before the task.  The other ingredients are not Cooked Dishes but it is a good idea to have them ready as well.  They are: Beef, Corn Bread and Cherry Jam.  Apple Jam, by the way, is one of the ingredients in Apple Jelly.   You will need 6 Apple Jam and 2 Maple Syrup for EACH Apple Jelly.  As you can see, this is a tremendous amount of preparation that can be done before you reach Garden Party III.

Garden Party IV is another cooking venture.  You will need 40 Black Bread and 50 Apple Juice as ingredients in the two Cooked Dishes as well as the raw ingredients of Milk and Honey.

Finally, Garden Party V will need 30 Condensed Milk, another basic Recipe, and 30 Orange Jam for the Orange Smoothies.  100 Buffalo Milk Cheese requires 100 Buffalo Milk, made by feeding a Buffalo 100 Cucumbers.

2nd Week of July

8 July through 14 July

This one is a bit tricky as I saw NO INSTRUCTIONS!

You need to go to the Magic Rabbit to find the instructions as follows:  Complete your Mini Garden step-by-step!
Task 2:  Finish all the special Orders on the Order Board before Tuesday 14 July to collect all the Mini Garden Pickets

Tap on Start

Unfortunalely, if you completed all of yesterday's Orders, you will be forced to wait until today's Orders appear!  In my games, about 10 hours to go...

Note that every player will have different Orders to fill.  Only certain Orders carry the special Material in the form of the Picket.  They will have an added Reward in the form of a star with a question mark in it until the Order is completed.

For one of my farms, in five Orders, only one offers the Materials for the Garden.  The window for that Order actually has a gold background and you can see the Reward includes two Pickets.

There is no difference between this and the ordinary Daily Order Board.  If you complete ALL outstanding Orders, you will be able to see a preview of the next Day's Orders.  You will not know in advance which one will have the special Reward, however.

15 July to 22 July:
Third Week of July:

The third task is all about your Neighbours and the Cooking Stand.  Whenever you visit a Neighbour this week and eat at his/her Cooking Stand, you will receive a special Cooking Gift Bag that randomly may contain a Mini Garden Rock.  You will  need a total of 24 Mini Garden Rocks.

Remember that this is a random item.  The number of Cooking Gift Bags you can obtain will depend on your Level in the game.  At Level 77, I could obtain a total of 22.  At Level 48, the total number of Cooking Bags is 18.   This particular leg of the Quest depends on your Neighbours' participation in the current Cooking Stand Contest.  If your Neighbours are not participating, you will not find the icon of a Roast Turkey, indicating the presence of a dish that can be 'eaten' hovering over the Cooking Stand.

The Cooking Stand now usually is located on a Building Plot outside the main farm, but some players who began the game BEFORE the Building Plot option was released still may have their Cooking Stands on the main farm.    You will NOT be able to find the Cooking Stand on the Island, however.

Participation in the current Cooking Stand Contest offers more incentives simply than the Materials randomly received this month from the special Gift Bags.  It is a really good way to earn Coins and by participating in ALL Rounds and completing the Contest, a Farmer will earn a valuable Cleanable Decoration, one that yields a Blue Gift Box when cleaned.

FINALLY, with respect to all the Garden Party Quests, it appears that they remain active even after the week has ended if the farmer has not completed that week's Quests.  In other words, on the Kindle Farm that belongs to my friend, at a very low level, he has been unable yet to complete the Quest sequence for Week 1.  It remains active on the screen, which is really nice for players who do not have the capacity to perform all those tasks in a single week.

Final Week:

The material this week is found in the first Treasure Chest that you open on the path that is followed by completing your Daily Tasks.  The Tasks are found when you tap on the small Exclamation Point at the top left corner of your screen.  It is only the FIRST Treasure Chest that ever will include an Iron Pot, aka Mini Garden Blue Pot and you will not receive one every day.  In my game, only Coins were included in the Chest on the first day and it was every OTHER day that I received an Iron Pot as well.  You need a total of 6 Iron Pots to complete your Mini Garden.

The final date for this apparently is 3 August.  As of 31 July, I still lack one Iron Pot, although I have been completing all Daily Tasks every single day... I hope that I can finish this tonight or tomorrow at the latest!

It has been stated that Farmers who did not obtain all materials will be able to purchase them later.  Perhaps this will be similar to the horrible and endless Jack O'Lantern Machine Quest and the missing materials will be offered randomly in one of the Mystery Shops once the Quest has ended.
