Last updated on 4 August with techs for next tier after 7th Chest. Post includes detailed instructions on Dining and Invitations to Dine.. This very long post contains all of my work for the latest update. I hope ultimately to create one post for all the recipes and possibly other 'dedicated' posts but it is a lot of work and my health is poor. Still not entirely recovered from the terrible Covid that lasted over three weeks and left me with infections and breathing issues. I hope for ultimate recovery from all of these.

Please be advised that ALL items used for Cooking are Cloud Farm products. I did not give the full names yet for all of these in recipes but if Pineapple is given as an ingredient, it is the Cloud crop and not Seaside Pineapple.
What is holding me back now is the enormous quantity of 'Meat' demanded for upgrades of all kinds. Also, there are two new forms of Cloud Garden currency: Coins and Tokens. If I made an error and listed tokens instead of coins, I will try to correct it. Meanwhile, if the amount needed is significant, it will be Coins. If it is below 10, it may be Tokens until you reach requirements for the higher Levels of Lab Techs. (The Level 3 Higher Energy Plus tech does require 10 Cloud Tokens.)
Does no one else find it slightly disturbing that we are given generic 'Meat' by a dog to craft into food for our tables? Just an errant thought.
As of 29 June, I still was navigating and exploring. Please forgive any inaccuracies. They will be corrected. The update is huge.

Strategy Interpretation:
My interpretation of the new Cloud Farm updates is that first, the drive is to discourage farmers from saving Energy. The developers want farmers to be in the game 24/7. If your Energy is below the allowed maximum, you will collect the small amounts of Energy various options in the game provide Energy as often as possible and then will perform actions to use it so you can collect again.
Second, the sign that contains the timed quests on the Cloud Farm is amother device to encourage players to perform actions constantly. The Treasure Chests act as incentives to push farmers forward and the time sllowed to complete quests is relatively brief.
Some of the options for collection of items are very much ruled by the clock and the fatmet must slave constantly at the forge to make the tools required to collect them... all the tools will disappear after a set number of uses. Not to have a new tool ready to use means losing an opportumity for more valuable collections within the space of any day.
Remember there really are no time limits for any of it! The sign quests refresh, just as there is a new Adventurer Fortune Mission every week, and new dragon requests on Seaside every day. I do not allow my dragon to rule me. If I have the items, well and good. If I do not, I ignore him or her. The dragon does not starve.
Make the important distinction between these quests and the Treasure Island Activities and reserve your stress for the latter. They really are time limited and once they expire, you will not find the rewards being offered anywhere else.
A reminder here that ANY use anywhere of Energy is counted for the Fountain and Water Jugs so go to the Fountain to collect during any Treasure Island.
Meat is the item highest in demand and the game limits players to three objects for the puppies to bring their meat gifts. There are periods of reat as well that only can be eliminated by spending OP. The tree that holds the Eggs likewise has a strict clock.
For farmers on Seaside, there are new gifts to send to neighbours as free gifts, including Butter, Rye Flour, Oat Flour, Sugar, Egg.
There are new Buddy Gifts as well that mainly are materials needed for Upgrades of Upgraders.
Maritime Coins can be sent to a Buddy if the boat has been built.
Another aspect of this update is the random appearance of rare items in the Green Mystrons Shop. The item refreshes either at reset or end of day and differs from farm to farm. Today farmers found the following, inter alia: Red Panda Cushions, Agave Puff Pastry Cake, Unicorn Feathers. Price always is 5 Green Mystrons and the number sold appears to be 5.

The three major upgrades to the Cloud Farm are Cooking, the Forge, and the Cloud Garden.
All the Fountain upgrades I have logged are given near the end of this post.
Water Jug Upgrade from 5 to 6 now available: 2 Garden Tokens, 2 Adventurer Fortune Tokens, Collect set number of Jugs (cannot see this now as met condition), 5000 C Coins
Water Jug Upgrade to 7 Jugs: 3 Garden Tokens, 4 Adventurer Badges, Collect jugs 30 times, 5000 Cloud Coins
Water Jug upgrade to 8 Jugs: 5 Garden Tokens, 8 Adventurer Badges, Collect jugs 40 times, 5000 Cloud Coins
It is possible you will collect 40 times from the Treasure Island because of the Treasure Island energy expenditure. I have used over 20,000 E between Treasure Island and Cloud Farm since the Activity began a day ago.
Fountain Upgrade from 60 E to 65 E: 35 Zeppelin Badges, Collect from jugs 25 times, 8 Garden Tokens, 5000 Cloud Coins
(The game changed the total of Garden tokens I had when it reloaded after I tried to pay the small amount of RC. Now the RC required is double! Cloud Farm crashes constantly.)
When unlocked, you must expand the Cloud Garden repeatedly to be able to use it.
You cannot place plots to grow anything in the Cloud Garden. You can move items like trees and rocks and wild plants to the Cloud Garden. Items will spawn randomly as well there.
So my strategy was to use a Movement Shovel to move items to the Cloud Garden to clear the farmland and then place the remainder of the 170 plots I was allowed at Level 17.
Meanwhile, you need to craft Baskets to collect the Cloud Flowers that grow on the cloud fence surrounding the Garden. The will respawn by themselves but you can use the Cloud Fertilisers you make with Mortar & Pestle to mature them as well.
The Deletion tool can be used to eliminate junk that is on your land as well like items that were created for a time limited activity that has expired. To clear these uses Energy, but they now can be deleted instead. They tend to be quite pretty, with holiday themes for each, so you can keep them for aesthetic purposes I suppose. Do not delete grass, stone or trees. You need all the materials for tools.
The real purpose of the Cloud Garden is contained in the sign that gives three quests with a multitude of tasks. They are all time restricted. To be able to claim all the rewards in the chests, you must complete the Research techs for the Cloud Farm that have been added to the Cloud Lab.
My farm leveled up automatically to Level 17. I was invited to take possession of the Cloud Dragon and build a bond. There are two raw ingredients and two cooked dishes. The cooked dishes are worth more.
FIRE DRAGON
On a farm at a much lower level, the Fire Dragon appeared at Level 8 when the area with the Adventurer's Fortune was unlocked. This occurred the moment the area was opened evwn without the building being restored.
Note that a buddy of mine was offered the Dragon at Level 9. I will try to ask for more information from her. I completed many new quests without seeing or logging them.
It wants:
Flame Fruit: 13 hearts (10 OP randomly for any harvest)
Starry Night Mushroom: 24 hearts (1 RC randomly for any harvest)
Cake of Ice and Fure: 55 Heartd
Starry Night Mixed Juice: 70 Hearts
Needs 2500 Hearts
Then you must 'build' the Fire Dragon with:

Celestial Wheat Crop is unlocked at Level 8. The Cloud Forge, Cloud Cooking Hut and Cloud Dining Table likewise available. The Cloud Mortar & Pestle unlocked at Level 10.
At Level 17, 170 plots. Where on earth would I place them???
The answer is that the Cloud Garden becomes the place for the items that spawn.
To unlock the next area, perform the Fire Dragon Quest:

N.B. On another farm, at Level 10, the Farmer raised the Fire Dragon, buikt the Adventurer's Fortune building, completed a Badge there and yet did not see the Fire Dragon Quest. I think one may have to be at a higher level to unlock it and move to the next area past the Fountain. She also built the Fountain but when ahe taps on the Moon Cloud, it tells her she must complete the Fire Dragon Quest becore she can unlock the next area.
Now I can build the Cloud Garden Gate:

Here is my dilemma. To unlock the Garden to write a guide for it, I need 60 Puppy's Gifts and 200 Fire Essence. Otherwise pay an enormous amount of RC... I either stop cooking efforts that require Meat for the moment or reaign muself to the payment. As things stand, I will try to collect 200 Fire Essence and see where I stand with the Puppy's Gifts that are ruled by timers.
I spent the RC to skip some of the Puppy's Gift requirement and moved forward.
There is a hole where you can find the Puppy's Woven Tent. You make them in your Forge and then place them on the ground to collect Puppy's Gifts. There is a 7 minute timer when placed. When it expires, the Puppy left you a gift. It is Meat. It seems each of these works repeatedly on a timer that resets. You cannot place any more than three of these Puppy's Woven Tents.

With the Fire Essence, you can make:
Fire Cocktail: 1 Fire Essence, 1 Ice Crystal Juice
Fire Cake: 1 Marbled Fruitcake, 1 Fire Cocktail
There is now cooking as well as dining. In order to participate in dining at the Tqble, your Energy must be under 1000 if you do not have the Benefit Card and under 2000 if you do.
Here is how to dine and invite others:
The dishes you have made will be displayed when you tap on the table. The game prompt tells you to drag a dish to the 'slot'. To do this, you need to drag it out of the window, moving it to the left and then pull it down into the slot. A second slot costs 9 RC.
Woth yhe dish in the slot, tap on the olate to the right. Now you see the Energy value of your dish for you and the amount of Energy for any neighbour you invite. The value of ANY invite is trifling at best. For my dish worth 30 Energy to me, the value to a neighbour if invited is 3 Energy. However, the options are 'Eat Now' or 'Invite Neighbours'. You can invite a total of 5 neighbours.
As most of the techs im the Lab require cooked dishes, I must keep usage of the dining at a minimum for the time being.
