All Cleanable Decorations with their Rewards and Charm Values

Last updated on 15 September 2017

I have a post that gives ALL the Bases with all Decorations that can be stacked on each.   Here is the link:

Decorations 101, all Bases and their Stackable Decorations

Since I first created this post, there have been a couple of significant changes in the game.  The first is the Clean Ticket option that allows your Pet to visit up to 20 Farms in a 'Batch', bringing back Gift Boxes and other rewards.  The time it takes depends on the number of farms visited.  The rewards are based on the actual Cleanable Decorations and whether or not there are Dishes to be consumed on the Cooking Stand at the time of the visit.

Another small change is a new Island Blue Box.  This may be associated with some of the Decorations you can obtain after you reach Level 150.  It definitely is associated with one Decoration sold in a special sale recently in the form of the lovely Bird Family that should be placed on the Island.

Please bear in mind the fact that generally speaking, all Bases and all Decorations rewarded by the Cooking Stand Contests give Blue Boxes.  There are a couple of Bases who do not give Blue Boxes, but most do.  The Decorations that are given as Rewards for completing the time-restricted Missions that begin on Friday mornings give Purple Gift Boxes.  Now these Missions no longer give Island Decorations but have switched to giving one Accessory for the Pet House and one Decoration for the Seaside Farm.

A fairly new change in Seaside is the ability to clean Decorations that are stored in the Warehouse.  When a player has stored Decorations, the ones of the highest values (giving Blue Boxes) will be cleaned first.  Decorations stacked on Bases can be cleaned while on the bases.  The first Gift Box will be from the Base itself.

This is an updated post that will include all Cleanable Decorations with the type or colour of Gift Box associated with them as well as their Charm Values.  I originally created this post only to list the Cleanable Decorations with their Rewards when cleaned but I now intend to include the Charm Value of each as well.  At the end of this post, you now will find a list of all the non-cleanable Decorations.

Bases and Stackable Decorations
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Originally, a farmer had to go through every Decoration on his/her farm, attempting to stack each on every possible Base to find out which ones had been added to the stackable list.  Now, all you have to do, in the case of any completed Base is first to choose the Move tool on the Base and then activate the 'Search' Tool (magnifying glass) within the Base's own Menu.  This will show you all possible positions for stackable Decorations as well as giving you a list of each in every position.  You can position them for a preview as well if you wish!  This is one of the GOOD new options in the game!

Values and Uses of Decorations
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Originally, Decorations were simply decorative in nature.  They were used solely to beautify the farm or make it unique.  Now, however, Decorations have other uses.   Cleanable Decorations yield 'Gift Boxes' of various colours when cleaned by a neighbour or Buddy.  Even non-cleanable Decorations have values in the form of a specific Charm Value and when part of the 'Theme' for a current Farm Beauty Contest, a value in terms of Votes as well as the rating of the farm.

Note however that recently Landscape Totals supplanted Charm Point totals in the Farm Beauty Contest for specific Character Votes and ratings.

The Charm value of any Decoration is found in a small flower pink or red flower icon with a number inside it.  The number represents the Charm Value.  When the item has a Coin cost, the total number of these Decorations that can be counted for Charm on any farm  usually is limited to 5 but when the Decoration has an RC cost, there is no limit to the total number that can be placed on any farm to add Charm to it.

Charm Values are the reason I have expanded this post to include a section that lists the Decorations that have Charm values but are not cleanable.  Now, however, in November 2016, Charm for the most part has become less important and has been superceded by the concept of 'Landscape'.  Charm still is relevant in increasing Landscape Points but it is not as significant as it once was.

Most players are familiar now with the various Gift Boxes in Family Farm Seaside and how they are obtained.  Basically, there are two types of Decorations in the form of those that can be 'cleaned' by Neighbours to yield Gift Boxes and those that cannot be cleaned.  Beyond that, however, there are further distinctions.

Gift Boxes come in different colours.  Each Decoration yields a Gift Box of a specific colour.  The very best Gift Boxes are the Blue ones.   As a basic rule,  EVERY final Decoration from a Cooking Stand Contest yields a Blue Box.  Every Decoration from a time-restricted Quest gives a Purple Gift Box.  EVERY Base yields a Blue Box.  Finally, it is through the special Sales primarily that new Decorations that give Blue Boxes are obtained.

In the Gallery now, some Decorations are highlighted but although many of the ones that yield Blue Boxes are highlighted in gold, this is not the reason.  I am beginning to suspect that such highlighting may denote the most popular Decorations.

The most valuable Gift Boxes tend to be those that are Blue or Gold.  I therefore will list the Decorations that yield these colours first.

Note there is a new type of Decoration in the form of the temporary Trophies given to players who have high rank in the Farm Beauty Contest.  Harvest Moon FDC received an Iron Trophy in the last contest.  Unfortunately, there was a glitch that both prevented me from registering the Trophy and prevented any player from cleaning it for almost a fortnight  That now has been fixed, giving me the opportunity to discover that the Iron Trophy yields a special Iron Trophy Gift Box actually named the Farm Beauty Contest Iron Cleaning Box.  Although it is very pretty, it really is not as valuable as the Blue or Gold Gift Boxes.  It usually contains nothing more than Coins and a few Green Mystrons. Nonetheless, I like having it in my Gift Box!

Note that the first Bases released  have yielded a Blue Box, but the Ice Base is giving a Purple Box, rather disappointingly... as are the two Bases earned by completing Lighthouse Missions.

Most of the other cleanable Decorations yield Purple Gift Boxes which are the second best of all the colours.  Lower on the scale are the Silver Cleaning Boxes.

Every colour contains a random assortment of Items that can include Power, OP,, Coins, Gasoline and  Green Mystrons.  The only difference between the Gift Boxes of various colours is that the Blue Boxes usually contain more Items than the others.  The Gold Gift Boxes are the next in value generally speaking.

Note that Island Decorations NEVER yield the original Blue Gift Boxes, although now there is a light blue Island Gift Box.  They yield Boxes, however, that include Island Farm Aids as well as the usual Rewards.

From time to time, a special sale or offer will include Decorations that temporarily yield RC or Yellow Mystrons instead of the usual Cleaning Gift Boxes.  After a specified number of days, the same Decoration will begin to yield Gift Boxes instead.

To obtain any Gift Cleaning Bag, you either need to be the owner of a Cleanable Decoration that is placed on your own Farm and then cleaned by a Neighbour or your have to visit a Neighbour's Farm to clean a Decoration there.

There are other 'bags' that contain similar Items to those found randomly in Cleaning Gift Bags.  These include the Loyal Player Reward, the Cooking Gift Bag and the Angel Rain Package.  The Loyal Player Reward is one that is given to a Player who stays logged into the game for a specific amount of time.  The Cooking Gift Bag is given whenever a farmer eats at a Neighbour's Cooking Stand.  The Angel Rain Egg, when cleaned by a neighbour, yields the Angel Rain Package.

Stacked Decorations
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Stacked Decorations are a fairly new option that was created with the various 'Bases'.  All Bases when complete give a Blue Gift Box, but you can 'stack' other Decorations on them and these each give their own Cleaning Box, the colour of which is linked to THAT Decoration.  Whenever you visit a Neighbour who has a Base stacked with Decorations, the first Neighbour to clean the Base will receive the Blue Gift Bag... after that, you can try to clean a specific Decoration by tapping on its position on the base and you will receive the Gift Box that is associated with that Decoration.  In other words, up to five cleanings can take place on a base that is stacked with the maximum of four Decorations.  The exception to this is the Bird Home Base simply because the Decorations that can be stacked on it are NOT Cleanable.  They have Charm points but cannot be cleaned.

Storage of Stacked Decorations
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

A recent update to the game has changed the configuration of the Warehouse to give it three main sections rather than two.  These are as follows:  Warehouse, Decorations, Gadgets.

The labels are a little misleading here as 'Gadgets' really encompasses ALL Stackable items, whether they are indeed Gadgets for Upgraders or Decorations that can be stacked on the various Bases, including the Bird Home Bases that are sold in the Market as well as the Bases that were obtained through Seasonal activities or now can be obtained by completing specific Lighthouse Missions.

In terms of the Warehouse and Decorations tabs, only items actually being stored will be shown when you access those areas, but where the Gadgets tab is concerned, you will see ALL Stackable items, whether or not they are being stored or are placed currently either on the farm or on their designated Bases.  There is one possible action for these items which is 'Use'.  If indeed the item is being used currently, that action will not be available and will be greyed out as it were.  If, however, the item is being stored, you will be able to tap on 'Use' to place it either directly on your Farm or on its designated Upgrader or Base.

Remember that almost every Stackable item can be used solely on one specific Base or Upgrader.  You will see the jigsaw icon when using the 'Move' Tool only when you have brought the item to hover over the Base or Upgrader where it can be stacked.

Charm Points
xxxxxxxxxxx

This brings me to the Farm Beauty Contests and the business of Charm Points and Theme Decorations.  Once upon a time, we placed only the Decorations we liked personally as well as trying to place as many of those that yielded the Blue Boxes as possible.  Now with the advent of the Farm Beauty Contests, we have to worry about Theme and Charm Points.  What that means is that some of us tend to load our farms with as many Decorations as possible, especially when they have been declared to be part of the current Theme for a Contest.    Theme Decorations can consist both of cleanable Decorations and ones that cannot be cleaned.  They can include items without any Charm Point value as well.   When farms are crowded densely with Decorations, it sometimes is difficult to find the ones with the Blue Gift Boxes.  Nonetheless, this is our brave new world...

Note that the rules have changed now in that Decorations that are purchased with Coins will have a limit as far as the Charm point total for purposes of any Farm Beauty Contest.

Achievements
xxxxxxxxxxxx

Note that Achievements now include specific numbers of each colour of Gift Box to be obtained from Neighbours' Farms.  It therefore is worth the effort to clean EVERY kind of cleanable Decoration now!

Tips for Farmers
xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

As the Blue Boxes do contain the best items for the most part (everything IS random, of course), it is a good idea not to crowd cleanable Decorations that yield different colours of Gift Boxes together unless you are past the point where it matters to you...  if you place all Blue Box Decorations together in front or in another prominent or easily accessible position, you probably will obtain more Blue Boxes every night when the game resets.

Gold Cleaning Box List
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

This is a new list so it will be updated gradually.  The Gold Cleaning Gift Boxes are almost as valuable as the Blue Gift Boxes.  In fact, I sometimes receive more OP from the Gold ones than the Blue...

I do believe that all the Decoration Rewards from the Farm Beauty Contests give Gold Cleaning Boxes.

Silver Gift Boxes
xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

The Silver Gift Boxes probably are the least valuable of all.  Oddly enough, the large Swimming Pool yields only a Silver Gift Box as does the Duck Pond that we had to build a couple of years ago.  I do believe that the Gift Hill gives a Silver Box as well.  In fact, many of the Cleanable Decorations that you can purchase in the Market for Coins give only a Silver Gift Box.  Some do not give ANY Box but only give Coins.

Note, however, that for the purpose of gaining Buddy Points, the Coin Decorations are as good as any.  No matter which Decoration you clean, you will gain the same number of points!

Decorations that give Items
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Easter Egg Tree: gives a bag that contains a random type of Chocolate
Angel Rain Egg: gives a bag that contains a random Farm Aid

Ice Dolphin: Ice Cubes

Island Boxes
xxxxxxxxxxx

All Time-Restricted Quest Decorations yield Island Purple Gift Boxes.  The Island Decorations that you purchase in the Market for RC yield Island Gold Cleaning Boxes.   For example, the Cow Plant Stand and Sheep Plant Stand both yield the Island Gold Cleaning Boxes where the Swan Lake and Christmas House yield the Purple.  The Landmark Decorations that you craft cannot be cleaned.

Which Decorations are Cleanable?
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

If you see the icon of a Cleaning Brush next to the Decoration, it is Cleanable.  When you purchase a Decoration in a special Sale, tap on the little 'i' that gives information and it will tell you precisely what colour of Cleaning Gift Box you will receive from the Decoration as well as any special temporary Rewards such as RC, Yellow Mystrons or others.  The temporary Rewards usually are for 5 to 7 cleanings and are NOT time-restricted.  If no one cleans the Decoration, the temporary Special Reward will activate whenever it is cleaned... and there can be gaps between cleanings as well.

Items that should be considered Decorations but do not fall into that Category
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Back in the day, the Collections Missions consisted of a Decorative building that had to be placed on the farm before one could begin the various Collections that gave Rewards.  These 'buildings' could be upgraded to Level 5 and only when fully upgraded could be stored once the Collections Mission expired.  When stored, you will find them only under the 'All' tab of the general Warehouse.  They have no Charm Value and never are featured in the Theme of any Farm Beauty Contest.  They are quite interesting and many are seasonal in nature.  Sadly, the nature of Collections Missions  has changed and one no longer builds any decorative building... furthermore, there is only one Reward for completing the Mission as opposed to multiple Rewards that once included Farm Aids, Decorations, Trees and even Machines.

Black Friday Sale Offers Decorations
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

This is a temporary list of all the Decorations currently offered in the 'Black Friday' sales with the colour of Gift Boxes they give...  I just came out of hospital having had a major operation so will do things this way because I am in too much pain to sift through lists to see which ones were added and which still need adding.  This way everything currently on offer is listed and I can organise it later into the main lists.

A word of warning about the sales offers.  They are not all equal.  The DIY offers, where you can choose your Decoration, has one that offers mainly Decorations that give Blue Gift Boxes but one Decoration included gives only a Purple Gift Box.  The Decorations that are included in the Fortune Packages for the most part all give Purple Gift Boxes and nothing better than that.  Obviously there are other reasons why players choose specific decorations... perhaps they are trying to complete their Galleries and there is only one they missed or perhaps they simply LIKE a specific Decoration.  If, however, you are choosing according to value, the Blue Gift Box Decorations are the most valuable.  Read the entire information detail found by tapping the question mark icon, though, because many of these Decorations will dispense something extra like Blue Mystrons, Yellow Mystrons, Green mystrons or 1 RC for 5 to 7 Days as well as giving the appropriate Gift Box when cleaned.
