This is a new Quest that can be activated AT ANY TIME from the Lighthouse. It is one of those Quests that is distinctive as it is divided into different timed parts. This is characteristic of ALL the Bird Home Base Decoration Missions. Once a part is activated by tapping on the icon in the Lighthouse Menu for the Mission, you must complete it within the days allocated to it. You need not activate any other parts of the Quest, however, if you do not wish to do so until a later date.
Note that these Quests are for Decorations that are stackable on the Bird Home Base only. This is a Base that can be purchased in the Decorations section of the Market. You can have a total of two of these. The first carries a price of 25 RC. The second costs 40 RC.
You can place the Decorations for the Bird Home Base directly on your farm. According to the information in the Gallery, however, they cannot be cleaned for Gift Boxes of any colour. The Base itself should deliver a Blue Gift Box when cleaned. I have confirmed that the Decorations cannot be cleaned... they do, however, have Charm value so if they are placed within the sphere of any Path, will add Landscape Points to your farm value.
If you are familiar with this type of Quest, you will not need any explanation. Remember that there are really three separate quests here, each represented by its own icon and that you need not activate the next part of the Quest until you are ready.

How the Bird Home Base Works

You must use RC to purchase the Bird Home Base from the Decorations section of the Market. You can buy a total of 2 Bird Home Bases. As stated in the introduction to this quest, the first costs 25 RC and the second costs 40 RC. All Decorations that can be stacked on these Bird Home Bases are Rewards given by special Lighthouse Missions. Originally these Missions could be activated only from the Gallery from the 'Time Machine' section and were named the Gallery Missions or Time Machine Missions. Now all Missions that can be activated for Decoration Rewards, including old timed Missions that have expired, are found in the Lighthouse and activated from there.
Some of the stackable Decorations for the Bird Home Base are animated, but only if you place them in juxtaposition with other specific Decorations. We still are missing one stackable Decoration in the form of the Letter Blocks as the Mission has not been released yet.

You can experiment with the Decorations by using first the 'Move' Tool and then the Search Tool in the Move Menu to see how all of them are positioned and how they interact. My own personal favourite is the Blue Bird who emerges from the Farm Bird House to use the Mini Water Pump before flying up to the diving board on the Bird Pool, falling finally into the Bird Ball Pool to disappear in a flurry of blue feathers beneath the balls.
The other animated creatures are a pair of Hamsters and a pair of yellow Birds. They will emerge from a house to use the Seesaw. Although I have placed the swing on the same base as the Seesaw, I yet have to see the two yellow birds use it or the inflatable Chair. They simply use the seesaw and then, after leaping to the roof of the house, disappear into it. If you choose the Hamster Friend, one will eat from a dish while the other uses the Hamster Wheel but again, neither moves to the swings. They simply go back into the house.
