Steampunk Time-Restricted Quest and Cogs Collection Mission

A new time-restricted Mission has been released.  As usual, it is a traditional Quest sequence that is linked to a Collections Mission.  The Reward for the Collection Mission is interesting.  It is a 'Collectable' but it is in the form of a Steampunk-styled Hot Air Balloon.  You will not find it in the Market while the Quest is active.

Strategies for Mission

There have been some changes in Seaside that benefit players when they perform fam tasks.

First, when the task asks that you 'feed' an animal, it will be completed when you use Batch Production to start the production and not when the product is collected.

Second, you now can use the Gold Finger Tech to collect products for a task and those products will be counted.  Originally, when Gold Finger first was released, this was not the case.

Third, you can use Batch Production now when an Animal or Machine is on its Upgrader.  This was not the case originally.  Thus, in completing a task for a time-restricted Quest, you can gain points towards the next upgrade.

Fourth, and these are not changes but perhaps worth a mention, Beauty Shop items are counted when first placed in the slot, not when the item is completed.  In the case of a Fishing total requirement, a 'Miss' will count towards the total.  The game usually asks that you fish 8 times.  When you see an item you do not need or want, tap on it to begin fishing for it and then do not tap again.  You will be told that you missed the catch but it will count towards the total that you need.
