You can find the new Easter Picnic Base in the Market in the Decorations section for 3000 Coins. It has a value of 24 Charm when completed.
The materials needed to complete the Base are:
9 Easter Turf
8 Easter Blankets
10 Easter Mowers
7 Easter Deco Eggs
All materials for this Base now are being offered in the new Festival Mystrons Mystery Shop for 60 Festival Mystrons each. Other items offered include the international Eggs that were available a couple of years ago. The Eggs appear randomly and cost 300 Festival Mystrons each. At this point in time, they are not stackable.
The list of Eggs includes 19 Eggs from different nations and are: American, Arabic, Brazilian, British, Chinese, Dutch, French, German,
Greek, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish,
Russian, Spanish, Thai and Turkish.
You can find all International Eggs randomly on the Lucky Wheel which mean that you eitehr can buy them yourself for 5 RC when your own Wheel stops on one or you can find them in a Buddy's Share Box.
Meanwhile, other activities now give Festival Mystrons, including the Coffee House Quests, the Daily Quest Treasure Chests, the highlighted Order on the Daily Order Board as well as tending a Buddy Easter Egg.
After 28 March, Festival Mystrons no longer will be available but, until then, you can obtain them through various activities which will change every week.
One player received 12 Festival Mystrons after opening 11 Easter Cooking Bags. Note tht the Treasure Chests obtained by completing the Daily Quest path now may contain both Lucky Tokens and Festival Mystrons. The highlighted Order no longer includes Lucky Tokens.
All players were given 40 Festival Mystrons by Felicia after all Mystrons that had been earned in the course of the weekend were 'lost' somehow.
For new players, do not confuse the Lucky Tokens with the Festival Mystrons. These are used to spin the Lucky Wheel. The Festival Mystrons, on the other hand, are used in the Festival Mystron Mystery Shop to buy special items, including ALL materials for the Base.
Each of the Materials costs 60 Festival Mystrons. Go to the Festival Mystrons shop to find them. Note that you can buy only one of each in any given day so it is better to use them as you receive them rather than saving them.
Buddy Easter Egg
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
The Buddy System is becoming increasingly important in Seaside and if you wish to be able to participate fully in all options, you really need a few good Buddies. The new Buddy Easter Egg can be found in the Red Mystrons Shop for 50 Red Mystrons. It can be upgraded to a total of 400 Buddy Heart Points before it disappears, much like the Christmas special Buddy items.
There are four different ways to tend a Buddy Easter Egg but you need to be at Level 2 with the Buddy to be able to interact with his/her Buddy Trees and Buddy Easter Egg. At Level 1, however, you can send and receive one of the items used to tend the Buddy Easter Egg. Two of the items can be crafted in the Beauty Shop. The fourth item simply is 1 RC.
Thus, if you have come late to the Buddy System, the first move is to ask your neighbours to be your Buddies. The second is to level up in your relationship by visiting your Buddies every day until you reach Level 1 when you can begin to send and receive the Coloured Pencils that are used to tend the Buddy Trees.
Meanwhile, you can make the two Buddy Easter Egg items in your Beauty Shop. At Level 2 with any Buddy, you should be able to tend a Buddy Easter Egg twice every day. Why is this important? Well, if you purchased the Easter Picnic Base and wish to complete it, the only method of doing it is by purchasing the materials in the temporary Festival Mystron Shop using Festival Mystrons. Each reward bag that you receive from tending a Buddy Easter Egg contains Festival Mystrons. Not many by any means, but you will need as many as you can collect!
At Level 1 with any Buddy, you not only can begin to send and receive Free Gifts but you can send and receive Special Gifts. There are two paths that can be purchased with Coins and sent every hour. The Special Gifts are found in the second tab of the Buddy Gifts Menu. The two Coin purchases are:
Stone and Flower Path: 500 Coins
Send every hour
Forest Path: 800 Coins
Send every hour
Each are worth only 1 Buddy Point but it adds another point to the points you earn daily with your visits.
If you are willing to spend RC, there are other gifts that either add more Buddy Points, like the Elephant that costs 10 RC and adds 30 Buddy Points or useful Farm Aids such as Super Fertiliser and Super Watering Cans. At high levels, you probably receive enough of these through farming rewards but at lower levels, you may find that you need to purchase them from time to time. Why not make an arrangement with a Buddy to reciprocate instead of purchasing them for yourself? That way, you will gain in Buddy Levels while receiving the items you need.
One advantage of the Buddy Gifts is that you can attach a message to any gift that you send. Another way to communicate both with Buddies and with Neighbours is by joining a Facebook Group for Seaside. My group is Family Farm Seaside Freyashawk. We are active, friendly and helpful players. If you need good neighbours or Buddies, you will find them there. I post Buddy Request threads for players frequently as it is difficult to maintain a total of 15 active Buddies sometimes.
All you have to do to apply to the group is do a Facebook search for Freyashawk and Family Farm Seaside, then ask to join.
Buddy Easter Egg Items:

New Buddy Item:
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
The
Buddy Easter Egg is listed as a Theme Decoration but is in fact a Buddy
item that is placed on the farm and 'built' by your Buddies. When
fully upgraded, it will disappear. You will be able to find it in the
Red Mystrons Mystery Shop from 12 March onward. Like the special
Christmas Buddy items in the form of the Snow Mailbox and Bench, it is
not a permanent item in the Buddy System.
As with the special Christmas items, there are new aids that can be crafted for the Buddy Easter Egg as follows:
Rabbit Ears: 274 Coins, takes 10 minutes
Ingredients: 1 Angora Hair, 1 Daisy, 1 Red Rose
Painting Brush: 332 Coins, takes 3 minutes
Ingredients: 1 Wool, 1 Cane, 1 Rainbow Fruit
The
Coloured Pencil Set is the other aid that can be used to tend the Buddy
Easter Egg now and can be requested from your Buddies as a Free Gift.
Other than that, you only can opt to use 1 RC to tend a Buddy Easter Egg at present.
Yesterday,
my game showed me the new Buddy Easter Egg items as the items used to
tend Buddy Trees as well. This was a glitch. You still use the regular
items for the Trees.
Note that you will receive only 1 Gift Bag per day for each item used.
In other words, if you have the option to use Buddy Heart Items twice
because you are at Level 2 or above with a Buddy, you only can receive 1
Gift Bag from the Painting Brush. Use of a second Painting Brush will
give you Buddy Points but no Bag. To receive a second Gift Bag, you
need to use a DIFFERENT Heart Item on the Buddy Egg. Use the Bunny Ears
rather than the three Coloured Pencils if possible as the Bunny Ears
gives a better Gift Bag. The use of 1 RC gives the best Gift Bag but
that can become expensive!
Easter Picnic Base and Buddy Easter Egg
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
It
is becoming clear that if you wish to complete your Easter Picnic Base
without waiting for all the activities to expire so you can use RC, you
MUST do as much as possible where activities that yield Festival
Mystrons are concerned. The new Buddy Easter Egg items when you use one
to tend a Buddy's Easter Egg give you a few Festival Mystrons. The
number of Festival Mystrons is determined by the item used. You will
receive Coins and random Farm Aids as well from every item.
Here is what I obtained:
Buddy Easter Egg Helper Gift from 1 RC: Contains 4 Festival Mystrons, 100 Coins, 1 Farm Aid such as Fertiliser
Buddy Easter Egg Helper Gift from Brush: Contains 3 Festival Mystrons, 100 Coins and 1 Farm Aid (Watering Can, Power or...)
Buddy
Easter Egg Helper Gift from Bunny Ears: Contains 2 Festival Mystrons,
100 Coins and 1 Farm Aid (Watering Can, Power or...)
Buddy Easter Egg Helper Gift from Coloured Pencils: Contains 1 Festival Mystron, 100 Coins and 5 Farm Aids (OP, or...)
You
need 60 Festival Mystrons for each Material. The total number of
Materials needed to complete the base will cost a total of 2400 Festival
Mystrons... a very slow process indeed!
Note that the
Buddy Easter Tree can be upgraded in the same way that the Trees or
Christmas Buddy items were upgraded. The Buddy Easter Tree will go into
a 'growth' period lasting almost 8 hours when it reaches 200 points, and this will occur twice. It then will be fully built and disappear when it reaches a total of 400 Buddy
Hearts.
The Buddy Heart Point Values for each item have been confirmed and are:
3 Coloured Pencils (a single use) gives 2 Buddy Heart Points
1 Bunny Ears gives 5 Buddy Heart Points
1 Painting Brush gives 10 Buddy Heart Points
1 RC gives 20 Buddy Heart Points
When
the Buddy Easter Egg is fully grown, you can claim it, with the
following rewards: 6 Festival Mystrons, extra reward of either 700 Coins
or 5 Green Mystrons. Those who helped the most will receive 2[ special
Bunny Helper Bags. The others who helped will receive 1 special Bunny
Helper Bag.
Stackable Decorations for the Easter Picnic Base
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Stackable items for Easter Base include Easter Backdrop, Easter Lamp,
Bunny in Basket, Chicken in Egg... as well as the International Eggs,
Flower Pot Bunny, Bouquet Bunny, Egged in Bunny and I daresay, the
Easter Torch when we finally receive it.
