The new time-restricted Mission was released on Android on Thursday night, and on Kindle Friday morning. Ordinarily, these Missions are not released until Friday.
As usual, there is a Collections Mission in tandem with a 16 part traditional Quest sequence.
You will earn the third material for the Lovely Planter Base by completing the first eight parts of the Quest sequence in a package that should contain 10 Lucky Tokens as well. The second half ot the traditional Quest requires access to the Island. 10 Lucky Tokens will be added to the usual 1000 Coins and XP Rewards in the second half. Thus, if you complete all Tasks, you should receive a total of 160 Lucky Tokens.
The Pomegranate Tree needed for the Collections Mission currently is being offered in a special sale with the Chocolate Fountain, a 'collectable' Decoration from the past that produces Dark Chocolate every 8 hours

In the first half of the Quest sequence, you will receive a Planter Shovel Package with the usual Rewards for completing each of the Tasks. The Planter Shovel Package should contain 10 Lucky Tokens as well as 1 Planter Shovel.
In the second half of the Quest sequence, you will receive Lucky Tokens in addition to the usual Coins and XP Reward.
Planning Ahead

If you have access to the Island and intend to complete the second half of the traditional Quest sequence, it is a good idea to plan ahead by transporting items that you will need to complete some of the tasks. This Quest has quite a few Island Tasks for Machine products with ingredients that must be transported from the original Seaside Farm before they can be used. There is only one task that involves the actual transport of an ingredient. This is the task that requires that you transport 50 Love Fruits to the Island. A later task will use these to make Love Fruit Pies incidentally. In all other cases, it is only the product itself that is the subject of the task and not the transport of any items. Inter alia, you will need 50 Ostrich Feathers and 20 White Roses. You will need to transport some items from the Island to the original Farm as well. For one task, you will need 6 Wooden Aroma Bottles and 6 Camomile Essential Oil for use in the Beauty Shop. If you do not have 6 Wooden Aroma Bottles to send, you will have to make them. Each uses 2 Wool Yarn and if you do not have these in your Island Barn, you will have to transport a total of 12 Wool from the original Seaside Farm to create the necessary Wool Yarn.
Primary Strategy

The Primary Strategy for any of these dual time-restricted Missions depends on the task that requires placement of the Reward from the Collections Mission and whether it is a tree or a 'collectable'. If it is a Tree, you usually can opt out of the Collections Mission by purchasing it for RC in the Market. If it is a 'Collectable', for some reason, the game never allows purchase of this item until the entire Mission has expired. If the item is not available in the Market or if you do not wish to spend RC, it is important to complete the Collections Mission before the Task that requires its placement. Although you always can skip the task for 10 RC, you will need the harvests from that item. In this case, the placement of the Mirabelle Plum Tree is required to complete Felicia's Diary 6, fairly early in the sequence.
You will need an extraordinary number of Mirabelle Plums incidentally for various recipes, both in the Kitchen and in the Beauty Shop. I cannot imagine that a player could obtain the necessary harvests without using Watering Cans to speed the harvests. Harvest is infrequent as well, taking 9 hours to mature.

You will need a Herb Garden for Herbs needed as an ingredient in a Recipe unless you have saved 8 Herbs from other sources such as the Coin Mystery Shop or the Wheel. You will need a Chocolate Machine for two separate Tasks. This is a Machine with an RC price, although you can find it randomly in the Green Mystron Shop. Currently, it is being offered as one of the third options in the DIY Sale. It can be paired either with the Teddy Bear Balloons or the Flamingos. The Pomegranate Tree is needed if you wish to perform the Collections Mission and this is paired in an offer with the Chocolate Fountain as previously indicated. You will need Dark Chocolate and this can be obtained from the Dark Chocolate Tree or the Chocolate Fountain. The Dark Chocolate tree is paired with the Mystic Rose in the current sale and is one of the 2nd options in the DIY offer. I am not certain if the task to 'harvest 8 Dark Chocolates' can be satisfied by harvesting the Chocolate Fountain...
There are some Seafood ingredients that will be needed to make Dishes as well. You will need a total of 12 Steamed Opposum Shrimp and 6 Butterfish for the very last group of tasks in the sequence. Having these in advance makes the task much easier.
