Happy Land Treasure Island

This is a Walkthrough, and finally complete.  There are some changes and new options you will discover immediately.  I will describe them as time permits.

The real usefulness of this Walkthrough, however, as with my quest guides, is to allow you to collect the materials you actually need for the next tasks rather than blindly cutting and clearing.  If you spend cash, it is a lot easier to plough through collecting everything, but if you use the temporary energy and trade fountain only, you will benefit from the lists of materials for every task.

One new option is Temporary Energy that accumulates only when Energy above maximum, but it cannot be withdrawn when Energy bar is full.  'Full' means 100 in this context.

So this requires some strategy.

Originally, the Temporary Energy limit evidently is 100.  It increases to 200 after you build the Pirate Ship.   It then goes to 300 as soon as you take the Hot Air Balloon to the 2nd map and then will increase to 400.   I believe the increase to 400 is when you complete the Bouncy Castle.  Will confirm this.    400 indeed is  the maximum.

You need to leave the Activity with the permanent energy at 100 or more to begin accruing temporary energy again.

N.B.  When you reach the task to build the Pirate Ship, a second row of tasks appears.  Follow that to reach the equivalent of a Workshop that allows you to craft the Arcade Coins needed to complete the Pirate Ship.

The same occurs on the second Map with a second icon displayed before you complete the Ball Pit Bouncy Castle.

Note a glitch I experience now whenever I enter the Activity.  If I exit on the second map, I must travel to the first map to activate the game.  All items and locations on the second map including the displayed task will be inactive until I make that trip and then return to the second map.  A bit of a nuisance.

Once you have the Daisy Magic Workshop, my advice is to craft Arcade Coins constantly.  Same with the Sunflower Magic Workshop, the Amusement Park Stickers, and the Bunny Headbands. 

Workshops:  If you are patient, instead of paying Diamonds to open more slots as I did, you can craft multiple Workshops of each type.

Rewards:

When you have completed all Trader trades, you receive either a Glove Machine or Energy.  If you have the Glove Machine, you can take the Energy instead.

Before 1426, after 2426.

1000 Energy is the alternative to the Glove Machine

Please be aware that the last toy is situated on an area on the second map that is one of the last to be reached.  You will attain 1300 Stars and all the other rewards apart from the Float long before you can collect the 2nd Ship Model.

The primary reward for this Activity is a Cotton Candy Machine.  The final reward is a Ball Pit Bouncy Castle that probably is a theme decoration in the Beauty Contest.  It gives a Red Gift Box when cleaned.

It really is NOT the final Reward, however, as that is another Float for the Parade in the form of the Merry-Go-Round Float that gives 25 OP every 4 hours.

I have written walkthroughs for all the earlier Photo Studio activities.

This is a work in progress.

The most significant Reward with the VIP Pass is the Asian Sea Otters when you reach Level 20.  They eat Scallops and produce Sea Otter Cushions.

At Level 25, VIP Reward is  Sea Otter Mom and Baby Decoration.  The regular reward is the Round Fish Tank Decoration.

It can be difficult to remember how it works, but it really is a simple activity.

When you tap on any item, you will see its description in the frame with the question mark icon.  Tap on the little 'i' on the top right of the frame for precise information as to its level in its own 'class' and how to create it.

This is a merge game.  All merge sequences are shown in the book.  Both your backpack and the book are below the frame with the question mark.  Whenever you merge or unlock a new item, access the book to open a gift box to receive a small reward.

I have given the names of the generators and the level at which they are unlocked.  You will find locked squares on the board.  Some simply require merging with the same item to unlick the square.  Others are squares that automatically are unlocked when you reach the level shown on the square.  New generators are unlocked at specific levels.

Slide an item onto a matching item to merge it and create the next level.  Pay attention to the order boxes on the ledt of the board.  The game starts with two.  More are added as you reach specific levels.

There are special tools that alter existing items.  These include the Universal Card (wand), the Splitter (scissors) and the ticket (Ad skip card).

The Universal Card must be placed on the board before you can use it.  Drag it onto any item to merge it into the item of the next higher level.

The Splitter must be placed on the board before it can be used.  Drag it onto any item to merge it to the next item in the chain that is of a lower level.  In other words, it has the opposite effect of the Universal Card.

The Ad Skip Ticket allows you to make an item in a bubble permanent without using diamonds.

Bubbles are created randomly when you merge any item.  They are temporary unless you are willing to pay the cost in diamonds that will make them permanent.  A ticket can be used as well.  Tap on the bubble and look at the item in the frame beneath the Question Mark to use either diamonds or a ticket.

N.B.  i do not know what triggered this, but at Level 16, a timed double experience event became qctive.  I had a little more than ten minutes to fill orders with double value before the event expired.

Penny's Magic Cauldron Riddle Solutions June

The new Riddles from Penny yield the Underwater Usland Base.  This base is no different from any other except that it must be placed on water, not terra firma or land.  Water in this context is not the open water, but water in the form of Pond Water placed on your farm.  In other words, this does not give you more space at all.

Currently, the only decorations that can be loaded onto this base are the new premium decorations.  The new 'water' base and its decorations will be worth theme votes in the Farm Beauty Contest.  The base when completed can give 9 votes daily if you do not have maximum theme votes, but your farm snapshot must include it.

Music Festival Treasure Island

Walkthrough complete.

Essentially, Treasure Island posts are walkthroughs without a lot of explanations.  I mainly try to document material requirements.

There is a new option in this one wherein special sales called Piggy Banks become available only when you reach specific goals.  I find this difficult to justify in a way, as what is unlocked in each instance is a cash purchase.

The first of these was unlocked in puzzling fashion when I had reached only 11 of 15 required goals.  Why?  I have no idea but it was a cash purchase for 700 Energy and 20 Diamonds.  When I finished 15 tasks, I was eligible to collect an additional 800 Energy and 30 Diamonds.

At this point, the 2bd Pivgy Bank becomes available.  With 17 out of 25 tasks, you get 700 Energy and 20 Diamonds if you make the same cash payment again.  At 25, you can collect an additional 800 Energy and 30 Diamonds.

There is a catch here:  You cannot use the Trading Energy Fountain if your Energy exceeds a certain total.  So when you purchase a cash 'deal', you lose the ability to trade for energy until you have used most of the Energy you purchased.

Strategy Tip:  Even if you pay cash, you will find your resources reduced to notbing very quickly.  Always take advantage of the Trading Fountain when your Energy total is low BEFORE you collect gift boxes or pay for more resources.

Please note this Activity is extremely long.  Once you complete the first Map, there is a new one that is the same size.

The Phonograph is the Workshop.  Note that there is a second Phonograph behind the Music Stage on the 2nd Islabd.  It requires very little to build it in the form of materials.

The main goal is to collect Stars to obtain all the rewards.  The significant Reward really is the Magic Wand Machine.  I have noticed, however, that the final Reward in these Treasure Island activities will be included as a theme decoration in the next Farm Beauty Contest.

In this case, however, the 'Final Reward' really is not that at all. There is a second map equal in size to the first and the true final reward is a 2nd Float for the Parade that delivers 15 Power on a timer.  I am not there yet but will continue to document.

Happy Mother's Day!

There are so many dates for this festival depending on your culture and geographical location.  It was celebrated with the appearance of this new Moon in Nepal.  In the United States, celebration will take place on Sunday.  Mothering Sunday in England was celebrated some time ago.

In the Roman Catholic Church, the month of May is dedicated to the greatest of mothers in this tradition: the Holy Virgin, the 'Madonna'.

'Mother Nature' has many names and roles, but she too deserves recognition I think.

I somehow feel that the celebration of the birthday of any child is the real Mother's Day for that child's mother.  It is an experience, a miracle, no mother ever forgets.  Mother's Day actually is the day when the child can reciprocate by acknowledging the gift of life and devotion that defines the role of Mother.

Good, bad or indifferent, the bond between parent and child may be more significant than any other.

May all Mothers and their Children find blessings in remembering this bond.

In my own life, my animals and other pets are my children as well.  They depend entirely upon me and their love really does reflect the love of a child for a mother.  So it can be a day to celebrate those relationships as well.

The object of the enterprise is to complete as many levels as possible to clear the Map and gain all the rewards.

Orders are on the left.  The puzzle board is in the centre.

Tap the blue star on the top left to claim rewards and buy the VIP Pass.

You begin with 2 Orders.  At Level 5, you unlock a third order.

Keep your eye on the current orders so you can fill them instead of simply merging items on the board.

This one has really boring graphics, in my opinion.  At Level 1, all you can do is create Zoo Guides in the Small Visitor Centre that are nothing more than slips of paper and maps.

At Level 2, you can merge Vistor Centres to obtain the Medium Visitor Centre that randomly generates Balloons as well as the Guides.

At Level 4, you unlock the Small Camera Bag that produces Instant Film.

At Level 6, you unlock the Red Souvenir Stall where you can create new items using recipes.

The High End Instant Camera is the highest level of item for the Instant Cameras.  It generates items that can be merged but will disappear ultimately.  It creates:

Zoo Brochure+ 2 Instant Photos= Zoo Postcard

At Level 7, there is an announcement about a Power Boost.  Tap 'Get' and it temporarily lights up the generators to randomly create higher level items.  I do not know how long it lasts but the icon is found to the left of your Energy total and you can initiate it again

At Level 8, you unlock the Small Safari Tram that produces Yarn Balls.  

The Reward on the ordinary path at Level 8 is a Bubble-Blowing Tiger Avatar.

At Level 10, you unlock the Medium Camera Bag.

I believe this is the Level that gives you another Order so that you now have a total of 4 Orders.

At Level 12, you unlock the Blue Souvenir Stall to produce new items as follows:

Star Shaped Balloon + Two Instant Photos = Tiger Keychain Plush

At Level 14, you unlock a Small Food Delivery Bag.  This generates Soda Water.

At Level 16, you unlock the Large Safari Tram that generates a Large Honey Jar as well as the original Yarn Ball.

At Level 18, you will unlock the Green Souvenir Stall where you can use the following recipe:

At Level 20, you unlock the Large Visitor Centre that appears only to generate a higher level of item.

It is at Level 20 that you receive sigbificant rewards, espevially with the VIP Pass.

At Level 20, the VIP Pass gives you the Sakura Spirit Tiger, a new Animal and the regular reward is a Bubble Time Avatar Frame.

The Sakura Spirit Tiger must be fed Turkey to produce Sakura Spirit Tiger Print.

At Level 22, you unlock the Large Camera Bag.

At Level 24, you unlock the Large Delivery Bag.  This allows you to make Fast Food items.  The lowaet of these is the Sausage.

Tip:  Turn off the Power Boost briefly to obtain the Level 1 items.

Whenever you create or unlock a new item, go to the Book to find a reward for that item.  The Book also names all the items in this Activity and shows you the level chains for each type.

Revised Sky's the Limit Quest for Trade Voyage

This is the second new revised Quest that gives items for the Trade Voyage.  You will find it in the Lighthouse.

I have logged it to help farmers raise their Cabin level for farm expansions.  The Plot 104 Expansion requires a Level 4 Cabin.  Later expansions require much higher levels.

These old Lighthouse Quests are divided into four parts.  You activate each part ny tapping on the 'empty' icon in the Lighthouse Menu.  Once activated, you have three days to complete that part.  You then have the option to activate the next part, and until you do, there will be no time limit. This is how Lighthouse Missions differ from the original Quests that had to be completed in 11 days.

The original Quest with the story can be found on this site.  Many of the tasks may be the same, but I am logging the revised Quest here without the story.

Farmers can reach 6000 votes in the Contest without any help from neighbours if they are willing to spend a little money on theme decorations.  Note that the same decorations are included in the theme book again and again, so it is an investment, not only for a current contest but future contests as well.  What no farmer can do is achieve a high rank in any Farm Beauty Contest without votes from neighbours.  Unlike some farmers who 'help' others, I never ask for anything else.  I do not ask for gift cards or Friendship Flowers even though I spend real momey often for the sake of completing a guide quickly.  I also never monetised my site or my Facebook group nor will I ever.  I do not ask for votes for any farm apart from HM. Revised Peach Boy Quest

The story of Peach Boy is an old traditional, much beloved tale.  I believe I logged it for the original Quest years ago.  I am not going to log it again here but it is a favourite of mine.  The original rewards was a darling Peach Boy decoration.

Note that this revised Quest gives two items for the Cabin in the Trade Voyage.  Farmers need to raise their Cabin level to Level 4 for the Plot 104 expansion.  For later expansions, much higher levels are required.

6.  Peach Boy grew up atrong.  When he was 14 tears old, he decided to go to Demon's Island to save people from the demons who often came to take away their gold and silver.

7.  The couple knew they couldn't stop him, so Granny packed some millet dumplings and Grandpa gave him a sword for his journey.  I think he will also need some sandals, right?

I have completed this now, including the final upgrade for the Pink Flower Boat.  Support has confirmed that, unlike the initial Anniversary Parade, where the road and floats vanished when the Activity ended, this Parade now has become a permanent feature.  Thus, if you do expend the necessary tine, funds and Energy to obtain the Pink Flower Boat, we are being assured that it will not vanish once the Activity ends.

Other Floats will be obtained with other Activities.  Each gives unique Rewards.  The Pink Flower Boat gives OP every few hours.

The Activity lasts 15 days.  Any materials from past activities that were not used will be available.

Rewards are earned by obtaining the specific Star totals.  Stars are obtained by completing the Tasks in the Eternal Garden Menu.  These will be listed below.

YOU MUST COMPLETE ALL STAR REWARD TASKS AND EVERY OTHER TASK TO UNLOCK THE ABILITY TO BUILD THE PINK FLOWER BOAT.  Reaching 13000 Stars does not count.  Moreover, you must complete all of Felicia's tasks.  There are 12 after building the Garden in a Jar and then the Pink Flower Boat has four stages of building.

Warning therefore here:  Some of the Star Reward tasks have totals that can be achieved only by using the Golden Tools.  You can reach 13,000 Stars and all the Rewards given in that menu without completing all those Star tasks, but you cannot unlock the Pink Flower Boat unless you complete EVERY Star task and every task from Felicia.   I have been listing all the materials and you can see how demanding they are near the end.

Another warning: Some materials carry over to future Islands, but I doubt any of the Flower items will.  In completing the task to collect 300 Hydrangea, I collected more than I ever wpuld need, so still have 24.  It is not that significant, but be careful when you complete tasks like that.  The earlier the better I imagine so they can all be used.

After you complete ALL tasks, you will unlock the ruin next to the Crocodile to build a Pink Flower Boat for the Parade on Seaside that has four stages.    Only one float is available from this activity..

There are two different priorities here.  You can collect materials as you find them and earn Stars as you can follow Felicia's prompt tasks and complete those tasks, earning small rewards consisting of Energy.  Gift Boxes on every map contain Energy and Diamonds.

There is a Trading Energy station where you can trade farm aids for Energy.  At Level 1, 30 Energy.  Level 2 gives 60 and Level 3 gives 90.  It is time-restricted.  You either wait 4 hours or pay in Diamonds to wave the waiting period.
