Magic of all Seasons Treasure Island, Tips for Farm Beauty Contest

A note about recent changes in the new Farm Beauty Contest:

Grandma now gives 18 votes for 6 Active Pets I believe.  The upgrade to 7 is made by completing the new Uncle Carlos Meteor Shower Quest and using toolboxes to make the Pet House upgrade, but the earlier Quest unlocked 6. 6 x 3  should give 18 votes from Grandma for pets.

In the Farm Beauty contests now, the Floats add to the Landscape Points on your farm.  There is a new Float to be earned by completing this Treasure Island in the firm of the All Seasons Float that gives 25 OP every 4 hours.  On my farm, the Floats to date are counted for 1100 Landscape Points.  I think some farmers are confused by the new use of Landscape Poimt totals in the Beauty Contests.  Unless you are competing for a very high rank, there is no need to raise your Landscape Point totals any higher than before. You still really only need the 24 x 24 Expansion I believe to have the maximum votes for a 'Big Farm'.  It is only in the case of a tie with other farmers for a place in top ranks that a large total of Landscape Points is important.  With the recent changes, the maximum votes you can receive both from NPCs and your neighbours/other farms is restricted. From neighbours' the limit is 100 daily.  What this means in practical terms for me is that I cannot obtain LESS than the full 100 votes dsily as there is no change of making up the difference ever now.  I must rely on your votes to rank in the Contest.  The best time to send votes is as soon as you can vote each day after reset.  There is a cooling off period of 5 minutes when no one can vote at reset to allow the system to count votes and assess rank each day.  After that, please send your votes.  If I received 100 that day, you will see a message that I cannot accept more votes abd will tgen be able to send them to some one else.  They are not wasted.   I am so grateful for the loyalty and kindness of those who continue to send their votes to HM. She is Level 120 with Expansion to Plot 103, 4 active pets fully kitted out,  at least 16 different crops, 16 different Animals, 16 different Machines.

Her Landscape Point total is 13,000.  Gallery is 1348/4000

Significant is the new Flavoured Milk Machine that is the reward for reaching 1100 Stars.

The Trader offers the Cream Puff Machine or 1000 Energy for thise who have the Machine.

Also significant is the new Float.  For those who have not completed the current Card Collection, five star card packs are included in the Star Rewards.

The temporary Energy gauge is active with a limit of 100 now.

8.  Build the Grass Arch: 4 Keys, 3 Pure Crystals, 1 Stone

9. Ride Moon Boat Together: 4 Blueprint, 6 Magic Wood, 75 Mirror Shards
