Another Friday and another time-restricted Quest with Collections Mission. This Collections Mission has a 'Collectable' as a Reward in the form of a Scallion Bush. You will not be able to find this Collectable in the Market until the Quest has expired so you will be required to perform this Collections Mission if you wish to have the Scallion Bush for the Quest.
I will pay closer attention next time I harvest this, but I believe that you can harvest the Scallion Bush every 6 hours. I received 5 Scallions for the first harvest.
If you choose not to complete the Collections Mission, you either can buy the Scallions that you need for 1 RC each or 'skip' the task completely when it is a Dish that uses this ingredient.
The Decoration Reward for the traditional Chinese Dish Trial Quest sequence is a lovely Gong. You will receive it at the very end of the Quest. Halfway through the Quest, when you complete Chinese Dish Trial 8, you will receive some Bear Pet Ears.

first must find it in your Gift Box and Use it. This will place it in
the Pet House Menu for accessories, found by tapping on the Paint Brush
on the left top side of the Pet House Menu. You cannot use any Pet Hair until your Pet House is upgraded to Level 3. The system is very similar to the Boats and Boat Parts on the Island.
N.B. The Bear Pet House Ears that go with the Bear Pet Hair was a Reward from the Darryl the Doctor time-restricted Mission.
Thanksgiving Farm Beauty Contest

Note that a new Farm Beauty Contest with a Thanksgiving theme has started as well, and new sales offers are available, as well as new Decorations in the Lucky Wheel. So there is much to do.
Landscape Points feature more heavily in the Farm Beauty Contest now. Charm Points are relevant really only insofar as they add to Landscape Points when placed within the influence of a Path. The best Paths remain the Pebble Path and the Macaron Path with 50 Points of influence each as well as the Water Path that costs 1 RC.
Premium Items

You will need some premium Trees in particular for this Quest. For the Collections Mission, you will need a Licorice Tree. For the quest sequence, you will need, inter alia, a Jackfruit Tree and a Mirabelle Plum Tree. A premium Animal is needed for this Quest as well in the form of the White Goat who costs 15 RC. You can find the Goat for sale randomly in the Green Mystrons Shop but you will need it to produce the Goat Milk required as one of the Tasks. Furthermore, you will need to transport Goat Milk to the Island with Blueberries and Honey to make the Blueberry Yogurt required in another Task.
Collections Set

The Collection Set in this case is the White Goat, the Scallions Bush and the Gong Decoration, so there is no point in skipping a task that requires the White Goat (Goat Milk or Blueberry Yoghurt) if you wish to complete the Collection Set. Remember that the Goat may appear randomly in your Green Mystrons Shop if you are willing to gamble that you can purchase it there within the time limit of the Quest. Blueberry Yoghurt, which requires Goat Milk is an item that needs no Mastery, unlike the Pumpkin Pie in the LAST quest that required full Mastery of the Pie Machine and therefore, in my view, was unfair to the low level players.

The problem with Collectables is that you cannot speed production. The number of Scallions that you need for the Quest is 24 but there are other Collectable products that are needed as well. Veteran farmers will have the items probably but new ones may not have any in stock. Prepare ahead of time by purchasing a Spice Rack if you do not have Spice in your Barn and a White Vinegar Stand if you have no Vinegar. The Spice Rack will operate for 3 days only. It costs 250 Coins. If you are a new farmer, you should invest in all the 'temporary' Collectables periodically to build up your stock in your Barn of each. The temporary Collectables are the Spice Rack, the Soy Sauce Barrel and the Yeast Barrel. You will need all the products frequently.

Level Requirements

The second half of the Quest sequence requires access to the Island to complete unless you are willing to spend considerable sums to skip tasks. Furthermore, the level requirement is higher. I actually believe that the Level requirement for Step 5 actually may be higher than that required to perform 1-4. Last time, a new farmer told me he could not progress past Step 4 of the Quest until he reached Level 26.

You will need a total of 24 Scallions. If you are fortunate enough to harvest 5 at a time, it still will take a day or so to collect the total needed. Skipping the task may be less expensive initially than purchasing the extra Scallions you need, but you actually will need this Dish as an ingredient to make the Kung Pao Chicken at the end of the Quest sequence. The wise Farmer will wait to collect all the Scallions needed... An impatient Farmer (and i often am one myself) will think carefully...)
