A new 11 day time-resricted Mission has been released. As usual, it involves a Collections Mission in tandem with a traditional Quest sequence entitled 'Big Fat Greek Trip'. The Reward for the Collections Mission is a Black Olive Tree. As with most Tree Rewards, it can be purchased in the Market if you choose not to perform the Collections required.
I have added a little section about Bobo the Bear at the end of this post. I should have covered it while the sale was active, but there still are aspects to Bobo's tale that merit a brief mention.

Strategies for Mission

Your primary strategy will depend on your Level and whether or not you have access to the Island. Without access to the Island, you will be forced to pay substantial amounts of RC to skip Island tasks. It therefore would be best probably in such a case to simply complete all the tasks until you reach Big Fat Greek Trip 12. In doing this, you will receive a Special Mission Gift Box containing Farm Aids and a Greek Taverna Table Decoration for your Seaside FArm as well as quite a few Coins and XP.
If you have access to the Island, you really should prepare in advance for the tasks that require items from the Seaside Farm. These will include 50 Cotton Balls, 50 Alpaca Hair, 12 Peaches, 60 Blueberries, 60 Honey and 60 Goat Milk. The speed with which you can transport these items depends on the number of zeppelins that you have. It is always quicker to split the transport between two or more zeppelins.
If you choose to purchase the Black Olive Tree for 10 RC instead of completing the Collections Mission, you may move faster towards completion of the traditional Quest sequence, but you will find that you need quite a bit of Beef, one of the items that produces Evil Eyes. More than one Dish required in the course of the Quest uses Beef.
Do not sell the Cooked Dishes that you make in the course of the Quest sequence. They will be needed to create other Dishes.
These time-restricted Quests/Missions usually are released on Friday morning and run for a total of 11 days. With so many new Quests, options and Activities, I like to plan ahead by completing as many as possible before Friday morning. In this particular case, I made certain that I had completed the little Quest that accompanies the purchase of the new Oil Machine. In doing so, I used a number of my basic Cooked Dishes. Fortunately, not many are needed for this new Quest sequence, but I still tried to be prepared by replenishing my stock of Batter, Cake Flour and so on last night.
Bobo the Bear

I do not know if this represents a new trend in Family Farm Seaside or if it were a very unique sale, but Bobo the Bear in his tent was the primary object of a little story and special sale that included some of his 'lost' items. In fact, Bobo's tale is the basis for the current Beauty Contest theme of 'Chilling and Grilling'. If you purchased all of the items available during the sale and placed them on your Seaside Farm, you will gain more points from some of the main characters each day. These include Bobo's Bike, Bobo's Fish BBQ and Bobo's Guitar. There are two more items that can be obtained only through participation in the current Beauty Contest by achieving specific point totals. These are the Backpack and a final reward which appears to be an Avatar depicting the tent beneath the moon.
All of the items, apart from the avatar, can be registered in the Gallery and indeed, the four items that were offered during the sale form a new Collection entitled 'Bobo Bear Went Campting'. The reward for registering the Collection is: 10 Medals, 1 Rainbow Rain and 2 RC, so it is worth doing.
Registration of each of the items individually carries rewards as well.

A final comment should be made about the Beauty Contest I believe, because I have had this problem myself more than once. Each day, you will be able to Vote for three Neighbour Farms as well as accepting your Votes from Neighbours and the four main characters ine the game. Your point totals from your Neighbours' Votes and those of the main characters will give specifici rewards at specific numerical Vote totals, including the Backpack mentioned above.
It is where your Votes for your Neighbours are concerned that a problem can arise. Whenever you use your three Votes, you will be given a Reward in the form of a Treasure Chest like those given for the Daily Quests. The problem here is that the screen with the Treasure Chest does not appear after you have finished voting. You have to go to the Menu, choose the Beauty Contest icon and then choose the 'Vote for Others' icon to find the Treasure Chest. For 'My Neighbours', you receive a Gold Treasure Chest. I never chose 'Random picks' or 'Great farmers' so I do not know if that gives the Gold Treasure Chest as well or one of another colour.
Perhaps I should mention this to the Support team because I cannot imagine I am the only Farmer who has forgotten to claim the Chest on occasion!
