Beanstalk Time-Restricted Quests/Missions

Players have 11 Days to complete the Beanstalk Missions in Family Farm Seaside.   The Rewards for completing the Collection Mission are more important perhaps than the Decoration that is the Reward for completing the traditional Quest sequence, although the Brazil Nut Tree that is one of the Collections Mission Rewards can be purchased in the Marketplace.   If you are the sort of player who cannot bear to see items on Neighbours' Farms that you do not own, you will complete EVERY time-restricted Mission.  The Golden Chicken Statue Decoration that is the Reward for completing the traditional Quests can be cleaned when it is placed on your Farm, which means that it will produce random items including OP, Power and Coins when Neighbours clean it.  

As usual, the Quests/Missions are twofold and run in tandem.  There is a Collections Mission wherein the farmer collects feathers of different colours by harvesting/collecting specific Items.  Appearance of Feathers as always is entirely random:

Rewards: Brazil Nut Tree and Beanstalk Decoration.  The Beanstalk Decoration cannot be cleaned but both Rewards are needed during the course of the 'Beanstalk Mission'.

Note that Green Beans are a new Crop that cost 80 Coins and take 6 Hours to mature.  They do not appear to be one of the time-restricted Crops so probably will be in the Marketplace from this point forward.

One more detail that may be useful to Farmers is the fact that the Brazil Nut Tree can be purchased in the Marketplace for 6 RC.  If you do not mind spending a little RC to complete a Mission, this purchase may be useful as it gives you a 'jump start' on the Recipe in the last step of 'Beanstalk' that requires Brazil Nuts as an ingredient.

While eating the cookies we heard a rumbling noise!  And then suddenly a giant beanstalk rose up to the sky!  So the beans were magical after all!  Grandma got scared and asked me to go see what happened.

N.B.  You may wish to keep your Kim Chi Machine in action to make more Green Bean Kimchi after the Quest is completed as it is a very good use of your excess Green Beans and nets a nice profit compared to the profit made from selling the Green Beans raw.  6 Coins profit from every raw Green Bean sold but 29 Coins profit for every Green Bean Kimchi sold and it takes only 1 minute to produce it.

It is a good idea to complete the Collections Mission as quickly as possible as both the Beanstalk Decoraiton and the Brazil Nuts harvested from the Brazil Nut Tree will be needed for the traditional Beanstalk Quest/Mission sequence.  You can purchase a Brazil Nut Tree in the Market for 6 RC if you wish to give yourself an advantage.

As is often the case in recent time-restricted Missions, you will need Power beyond the 30 Power given by the game to complete many of the steps.  If you have placed Cleanable Decorations on your Farm and have not opened the bags yet, you should find Power randomly in the Gift Bags.  I usually wait to open any Gift Bags until a new Mission or Quest begins.  I then have some extra Power to use when needed.  For example, the very first step in the Beanstalk Mission will require a total of 40 Power to make 20 Condensed Milk and 20 Milk Cookies.  Obviously, your Power will be replenished over the course of time but if you do not wish to wait, the cleansable Gift Bags provide a free alternative in many cases.

Wheat Flour is a Free Gift.  I usually make certain that I request Wheat Flour, Milk and Cheddar Cheese in quantity from my neighbours when no Quests/Missions are running in order to have a good stock for any future Quest/Mission.

When you do have extra Power during the course of this Quest/Mission, you may wish to use it to prepare some of the ingredients that are required for the Mission.  For example,  in Beanstalk V, you need to make 20 Stuffed Turkey.  This is possibly the most taxing Requirement in terms of Cooking as for each Stuffed Turkey, you need an Arabic Kabsa and a Roast Turkey.  Arabic Kabsa uses Soft Dough, another Kitchen Recipe.  To make 20 Arabic Kabsas, therefore, you will need 20 Power for Soft Dough unless you have made them in advance, as well as the 20 Power needed to make the Arabic Kabsa.  To make 20 Roast Turkey, you will need another 20 Power.  If you can make BOTH ingredients for the Stuffed Turkey in advance, therefore, you will be in a better position with respect to completing the Quest.

Note that you will need a larger number of Milk Cookies to use to make the Brazil Nut Milk Cookies in the last step than the ones made for an earlier part of the Quest.  You need 2 Milk Cookies for each Brazil Nut Milk Cookie so if you have extra Power during a period when the Quest sequence requires no Kitchen Recipes, make 10 more Milk Cookies.

Other items that can be made at ANY time in advance include the 50 Wheat Bread needed to make 50 Veggie Burgers.  You will need a fair quantity of Turkey as well, both for use in the 20 Stuffed Turkey Recipe in Beanstalk 5 and for the 50 Turkey Sausage in Beanstalk VI.

I basically try to complete the Collections Mission first in these time-restricted situations, knowing that the Rewards usually are required for the traditional Quest sequence.  Rather than focusing on completing any step in the traditional Sequence while working on the Collections Mission, I try to prepare for the traditional Mission by making ingredients required in the various tasks, whether the item is made in the Kitchen or in any Machine.   By doing this, I can complete the tasks when they arise without too much delay.
