Unlock the Port

Requirements:
8 Seafood Salad
6 Starfish Mirrors
8 Caviar Toast
20 Fish Tacos

You now unlock a map of the World where you can trade designated items.

This is an unfinished post.  I am just working this out.

NOTE THAT THE ITEM NEEDED FOR THE THIRD ROW TRADE WILL CHANGE!  IT CAN BE ANY OF THE SPECIAL REWARD ITEMS AT ANY PORT.

Now even Support acknowledged this is confusing.  With only two ports unlocked, simply fill the trades demanded at BOTH ports and the ship will set sail for two hours.  You must fill the demands in order, doing the first row before the second, but the ship can set sail with only the first row filled at both ports.  It is the second row orders, however, that randomly give the special items as rewards thst are required to fill the third row orders.  Note, however, that the third row rewards never are anything special.  They are Seaside aids like Power.  What the third row does give is more Coins thsn the first or second
I do not recommend paying RC for that.  The Port is a slow, long term option in the game.  Do not allow it to stress you out.  If you cannot fill tje orders displayed, you can refresh to change them for a small amount of TC.

You start with New York and Rio de Janeiro unlocked.  By performing the required trade voyages and paying out Maritime Coins, you can unlock Cairo and then...

Rio de Janeiro is unlocked as well as a destination.  You will see three trades possible at each location.   The trades you execute determine your rewards.

The final third row requires special items only obtained through executing second row trades.  Without these items, you can pay RC to complete the order.  The only significant reward from the third row is more Maritime Coins than given by the first two rows.  This is not worth spending RC.  The significant order always is the second row and it only RANDOMLY gives a special item as a reward.

The third row in New York trades required the Bear Soccer Players you earn randomly by filling the second row of Orders in Rio.   Filling my second row New York orders today gave me two Statuette of Liberty.  Claiming the reward from the book gave me 100 Maritime Coins.  Those statues can be used later I expect to complete Orders for another port.  Later, I received 10 of the Bear Soccer Players from Rio.  I was able to use those in New York.  Now, however, the third row in both ports requires the Boomerang from Melbourne.

Support has not explained any of it to my satisfaction, but I will keep on.  The ship will be launched automatically when you activate the destination.

Essentially, the action is as follows:
With two ports and three trades for each, fill as many of the orders as you can at both.  They must be filled in order.  First row, the second, then third.  It is seldom you will have the special items required for the third trade at this point.  Do what you can and the journey will be activated.  It lasts almost 2 hours.  Keep trading and travelling until you can unlock Melbourne.
It really is not worthwhile to pay RC to execute the third trade.

The rest of the ports are unlocked as follows:

Cairo
36 Trade Voyages
9600 Maritime Coins

Shanghai
18 Trade Voyages
4800 Maritime Coins

Melbourne
9 Trade Voyages
2400 Maritime Coins

Bremerhaven
67 Trade Voyages
18000 Maritime Coins

You then have to unlock and furnish cabins by purchasing furniture, a bit like Darryl's House.

Note that in four voyages, I only earned 340 Maritime Coins.  Stupidly, I allowed the tutorial to dictate the expenditure of the Coins given initially.  I now have a Modern Sofa I really do not want!

The reason I write this is to show that the whole business will be a slow process.  I have 4 Voyages and 340 Maritime Coins.  I believe it is not be having them that anything us unlocked but by spending them to unlock a new option.
Unlike Darryl's Adventure, it does not appear that any Rewards have any effect on the main Seaside game apart from giving small rewards in the form of Power and such..

The furnishing of the ship cabins reminds me a little of the Room Renovations activity, except that there is no time limit.

You do need to make the trade items for the first and second row orders in Seaside.

Penny's Magic Cauldron June 2023

I used RC to complete these.  Sometimes the items are hard to name.  Hope all are correctly listed.  The base when placed should be worth 9 theme votes daily if you are not at maximum for theme.

2 June: Incidentally, there was no timer for the Beauty Contest last night and no boom for theme items.  I think it is outrageous to spring a contest upon us today.  What is the rush?  I almost did not register because I have a cat who is ill and have bern distracted by that.  Players had two periods only to solve riddles for the new base without paying.  There is something really unseemly about the haste to force us to obtsin new bases and ptemium decorations.  Not to mention a new Activity today.
One more point.  I very much appreciate the support of the farmers who vote for HM. Freyashawk again and again but I am not certain this site is needed as it once was.  I missed being in the top q0 in the last contest by about 200 votes.  If one more farmer had sent six Votes daily, I would have had the required total.  I always told myself the votes were a measure of the usefulness of the site.  People on Facebook ask to join my Seaside group but do not know about or use the site.  This site is the point of the group, and is freely available to any one, always without advertising.
I hope readers will complain to Support about the lack of notice for this Contest. All of the pressure for timed options in the gane now decreases the element of fun!

Fly a Kite Quest and Kite Spool Collection Mission

Note: Both the Peanut Butter Popcorn and the Toy Peacock Gears are available this week in the Weekly Deals in the Market for 10 RC each.  Although offerings previously could be different for every farm, I believe the developers listened to farmer complaints and are making these available now in order to allow them to acquire the items demanded at ports.

Note from Freyashawk:  I would like to thank every player who voted for HM. Freyashawk in the farm Beauty Contest.   I missed being in the top ten at the end only by 200 votes.  The rank helps me determine whether this site still is useful.  So if you think it is, please consider voting for HM. Freyashawk.  I also feel that when my name is in the top ten, it is visible to players who remember me as a guide writer.  They then can find this site and see that I continue to update it as best I can.

Magical Wonderland Portal Activity

This is another Merge Activity.  Players need to be aware of the value of purchasing the VIP Pass!   Rewards obtained by having this cannot be obtained elsewhere.  Each time there is an Activity like this, I make this point clear.  Every day now in Global Chat there are players begging for Peanut Butter Popcorn.  The gear that allows you to produce that was a VIP reward from an activity like this one.

Note that both the Peacock Toy Gear and Peanut Butter Popcorn Gear are available this week in tbe Weekly Deal tab of the Market for 10 RC each.

Note:  there are two different kind of Stars.  One is the type that determines your Level and these resemble gems.  They represent Experience.    The other type is yellow and used in the shop in the lower right corner to buy items.

I have included a list both of significant Regular Rewards and VIP Rewards below.

The final Reward for the ordinary path is a Mermaid Crown Princess that gives a Blue Box.  The final VIP Reward is a premium Animal in the form of a Pelican who eats Yellow Croaker and produces Deep Sea Fish Oil.

The essence of this game is to merge items to create better items and to clear objects to obtain other objects.  By creating specific new superior objects, you unlock more areas on the map.

The first new area is unlocked when you create the Baby Mermaid. Each of the higher Mermaids in the chain will unlock a new area through the Mermaid  Crown Princess.  After that, you will need a Level 7 Royal Pearl Shell, then a Level 7 Seaweed Patch, and finally a Level 7 Octopus.  The areas must be unlocked in order.

N.B.  Tip!!!  Note that the Octopus items are the rarest and are obtained most often from the ship part obstacles.  I find them on the second clearing effort that requires 8 Stamina.

The activity runs on Stamina.  This refreshes over time or can be purchased.  In any given day, the first purchase giving 90 Stamina costs 1000 coins.  The second purchase giving 90 Stamina costs 1 RC.  The third purchase of 90 Stamina costs 2 RC.

You can merge three of a kind to create a higher level item but if you merge five instead, you receive a bonus higher level item.  Reasons to merge three are to clear spaces on the map or to create the first item needed to unlock a new area.
Note that the Mermaid Roe are generated when you merge objects and they can be merged to create a Baby Mermaid.
Further Stamina is required actually to create a Mermaid and that process is also on a timer.

Chains:  To unlock the last few areas, you need a Level 7 item from one of the various chains.  It is possible that every gane is different, but the last area requires a Level 7 Octopus and that is the only Level 7 item that still eludes me.  In general, the Octopus items appear to be rare at least in my game.  I am at Level 9, but cannot manage that merge yet.
All chains are listed in a Book called the Magic Gallery.  Unlocking a new item in a Chain gives Stamina Rewards.
Here are the chains:
Mermaids:
Level 1:  Mermaid Roe
Level 2: Baby Mermaid
Level 3: Toddler Mermaid
Level 4: Teenage Mermaid
Level 5: Adult Mermaid
Level 6: Mermaid Crown Princess
Level 7: Mermaid Queen
Level 8: Mermaid Elder (10 Stamina Reward)

Pearl Objects:
Level 1: Seed Pearl
Level 2: Closed Pearl Shell
Level 3: Half-Open Pearl Shell
Level 4: Open Pearl Shell
Level 5: Pink Pearl Shell (5 Stamina Reward)
Level 6: Gold-Edged Pearl Shell (1000 Coins)
Level 7: Royal Pearl Shell*
  *Unlocks a new area

Seaweed:
Level 1: Seaweed Seed
Level 2: Seaweed Sprout (5 Stamina reward)
Level 3: Seeweed Seedling (5 Stamina)
Level 4: Mature Seaweed (1000 Coins)
Level 5: Seaweed Stalks (500 Coins) (or 5 Stamina)
Level 6: Seaweed Bush

Octopus:
Level 1: Octopus Roe
Level 2: Octopus Baby (5 Stamina Reward)
Level 3: Juvenile Octopus (10 Stamina)
Level 4: Young Octopus (500 Coins)
Level 5: Adult Octopus

Magic Star:
Level 1: Magic Star Sprout
Level 2: Magic Star Sapling (1000 Coins)
Level 3: Magic Star Tree (10 Stamina)
Level 4: Magic Star Grove (This object has been in all the Merge games and produces the Stars that you can use for Farm Aids in the shop.  The Grove is on a timer and drops the Stars on two spaces to be collected.) (5 Stamina)

Coral Chest:
Small Coral Chest (5 Stamina)
Medium Coral Chest
Large Coral Chest (500 Coin or 10 Stamina Reward)

Shipwreck Chest:
Small Shipwreck Chest (5 Stamina)
Medium Shipwreck Chest
Large Shipwreck Chest  (5 Stamina)

Coins:
Several Coins
A Bunch of Coins (5 Stamina Reward)
A Pile of Coins (10 Stamina)
Note: after unlocking all three items, I no longer save or bother to merge them.  They are registered in the book and that is sufficient. The Pile of Coins is worth 20000 Coins.

I think the rewards when you unlock a new item in the Magic Gallery are in fact random.  They cqn be 5 Stamina, 10 Stamina, 500 Coins, 1000 Coins)
THE WAY TO RAISE YOUR LEVEL IS TO CREATE MERMAIDS.  It is this that awards the Experience Stars that allow you to increase your Magical Wonderland Level and claim the Rewards.  This menu is on the top left of the screen.

At the bottom left is the Gallery where you can see the items you have unlocked in each chain.

On the bottom right is the shop, the Magic Store.  Here you can buy items for Coins and RC. You can refresh the items or wait until reset to refresh automatically.
In the second tab, you can spend the Stars you collect with the Magic Grove.  Randomly, you may find a gear or Machine Mastery ticket here.

Level increases and rewards for those:
When you reach Level 1,  you obtain 60 Stamina
Level 2: Obtain 60 Stamina
Level 3: 60 Stamina
Level 4: 70 Stamina
Level 5: 70 Stamina
Level 6: 80 Stamina
Level 7: 80 Stamina
Level 8:
Level 9:
Level 10: 3 RC

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALTHOUGH THE STAR TOTALS STATE THAT LEVEL 10 IS REACHED WITH 25000 EXPERIENCE STARS, THE CREATION OF ONE ELDER MERMAID TODAY, WITH MY TOTAL AT 1925 EXPERIENCE STARS ADVANCED ME TO LEVEL 10, GIVING ME 3 RC AND THE TWO FINAL REWARDS WHILE THE BAR STILL READS 1925/25000.

For Level 3: 200 Experience Stars
For Level 4: 500 Experience Stars
For Level 5: 1500 Experience Stars

For Level 7: 6000 Experience Stars
For Level 8: 12000 Experience Stars

Fairy Island Activity

Initially, I believed this Activity to be more farmer friendly than its predecessors, allowing one to make far better progress without spending cash.  I apologise for leading farners down the 'primrose path' of disappointment with that statement.  The Activity begins with success, but becomes as brutal and unforgiving as its predecessors when one reaches 700 Stars.  The amount of materials required becomes absurd and it is simply exhausting to make them in the Workshop.

Note that you do not need to complete all tasks or all that earns Stars to obtain the final Reward.  The game does state that any Energy and Diamonds earned beyond what is required will be available for use in the next Activity of this sort.

I am including a full walkthrough below.  As I did not plan to write a walkthrough originally, I am working from two different farms.  Bear with me!  The full walkthrough is at the end of the post.

Unfortunately, I now have spent most of my RC to create this Walkthrough and still have some way to go.  I simply cannot afford to spend more cash now, so it will take a little longer.  As one progresses, one needs to expend more Energy.  400 Energy does not do much at this point!

Note that I give my own Energy and Diamond totals before and after opening gift boxes rather than doing the maths each time.

Follow the prompts to achieve the best results rather than removing obstacles randomly.

Tip: Always tap the search option in the prompt to fibd yoir way to the precise obstacle you must remove or object you need to build!!!   I made the error in previous games of thinking independently.  Follow orders!!!

In the bottom left is the menu for the Rewards earned with Stars.  Try to complete those tasks in tandem with the prompts if possible.

I found my first Mary's Gift without being forced to search. It actually was partly visible.  It is to the right of a Fairy Stage.
Before, 244 Energy, 137 Diamonds.  After, 444 Energy, 187 Diamonds.
I found my second Mary's Surprise Gift by accessing the little peninsula that resembles an arrow.
Before opening, I had 203 Energy, 3 Diamonds.  After, 403 Energy, 53 Diamonds

Note from Freyashawk: I am losing votes in the Farm Beauty Contest each month mainly from farmers who no longer can access the voting menu.  As the game expands, the menu on older devices crashes.  If you still find my work useful, please vote for HM. Freyashawk.

Special Rewards:  The special rewards you may not be able to obtain in future include the Puff Pastry Cake Machine that makes thw following:
Blue Rose Puff Pastry Cake
Red Rose Puff Pastry Cake
Agave Puff Pastry Cake
Lily Puff Pastry Cake
Iris Puff Pastry Cake
Plumeria Puff Pastry Cake

New to this Activity are:

Trading Energy:  on the map itself, a crystal above a flower.  Here you can trade Seaside resources for Energy.  Trades are on a timer.  I believe it takes 4 hours to yield the results irrespective of level.

The Trading Energy begins with a 30 Energy capacity.  To upgrade it to Level 2 costs 10 Diamonds.  If you are a low level farmer, it may be best to stay at Level 1 as you may not gave sufficient resources in Seaside for many trades.
1 Fertiliser trades for 2 Energy
1 Watering can trades for 4 Energy.
Super Fertiliser trades for 6
Super Watering Can trades for 12.
On my little 2nd farm, I have 544 Energy and 312 Diamonds, so I probably will use 10 to upgrade.  Note that the timer is 4 hours at both levels.

(From another farm:
At the very start, farmer has 152 Energy and 10 Diamonds.  After building the first bridge, open all boxes.  You should have 272 Energy, 10 Diamonds.  Clear 1 Magic Bush and open boxes. 271 Energy, 10 Diamonds to 391 Energy and 10 Diamonds.  You now can use your golden tools if you wish to build the bridge to the south.)

On the Map, there is a Magic Workshop.  This is new.  Build it to create materials you will need:
Magic Flower Wreath
Heart Fruit Sculpture
Mushroom on a Stump

You can use Diamonds to add a slot if you wish to produce faster.  I believe the 2nd slot cost 3 Diamonds.  The third costs 5 Diamonds.
Meanwhile, I used 60 Diamonds to build a bridge that required golden tools.  In the area I accessed, I was able to collect the following:
I went there with 275 Energy and 267 Diamonds.  After opening boxes, 880 Energy and 277 Diamonds.   I think this is a better use of Diamonds than speeding up the timers.  I did use Diamonds as well to add a second slot to the Workshop.
I used 90 Diamonds to build a bridge that required 3 of each Golden Tool.
Before, 27 Energy, 192 Diamonds.  After opening gift boxes, 623 Energy, 227 Diamonds.
I also decided to trade my existing RC for Diamonds instead of spending cash I cannot spare this month.  If you go to the top of the screen, there is an option to trade RC for Diamonds.
60 Diamonds to build a third bridge with golden tools, two of each sort.  I had 258 Energy, 3 Diamonds and after opening the boxes had 733 Energy, 18 Diamonds.

There is another area that requires Golden Tools to clear Magic Fog.  30 Diamonds for 1 tool of each type.  I had 79 Energy. 8 Diamonds.  After, 449 Energy, 38 Diamonds.
(Second farm: 173 252,  after 543 282)

Note that you are given one set of golden tools in your imventory.  You can build a bridge in the middle of the south of the map.  What you receive:
Before: 800 Energy, 322 Diamonds
After: 1060 Energy, 327 Diamonds

Another bridge in the south requires 3 golden tools of each type or 90 Diamonds.
Going there, I had 180 Energy and 3 Diamonds. After opening boxes, 775 Energy, 38 Diamonds
From there, south there is Magic Fog requiring 2 tools of each type or 60 Diamomds.

Magic Fog requiring 2 tools of each kind or 60 Diamonds in far East of Map:
Before, I think I had 31 Energy 3 Diamonds.  After 450 and 23.  I could be mistaken.  Very tired now!

In the area with the Trade fountain, gift boxes contain:
With 35 Energy, 272 Diamonds initially, after opening, 155 Energy, 272 Diamonds

NB:  The location of the Mary's Surprise Gifts was different for every farm in previous Activities but I have found two in the same locations on two different farms.

All Fairy Island Star Tasks:
Not in Order!
Pick one cluster of Young Magic Mushrooms
Build 1 Wooden Bridge
Build 1 Magic Workshop
Cover 1 Mushroom Pit

Pond (15 Grass, 10 Magic Flower Wreath, 10 Mushroom on a Stump)
N.B.  At this point, there is only the final Reward when I reach 1300 Stars.  There is no Energy or Diamonds to be gained by completing any more tasks, only Stars.  There is one more Mary's Surprise Gift, but no boxes in the next area as far as I can tell.
I chose to cover the Pond.  The rask to build the Fountain remains active but I can open gift boxes now.
Before: 119 Energy, 3 Diamonds, after: 279 Energy, 3 Diamonds.  Not significant really, but I am one step closer to the area with the 3rd Mary's Surprise Gift.

Family Movie Night Quest and Popcorn Collection Mission

A new 11 day Quest and Farm Beauty Contest.

Note the potential issue of the Exhivition Hall with reaoect to the Contest.  Theme items will be vivid in the Book if they are on your farm but grey if in the Exhibition Hall.  Remove them briefly and place them for your screenshot.  It is important to leave some empty space on your farm in case a glitch forces you into Edit mode.  If this occurs, however, close and reload your game, keeping your fingers crossed.  All of my bases came out of Exhibition Hall, game in edit mode and nowhere to place them!!!

Farm Beauty Contest
It is possible to organise your own Farm to get 6000 votes from the four characters but you need to take the best screenshit on the first day.  Look at the book that shows thene items, place them next to paths to maximise landscape totals, have a good variety of crops, trees, animals and machines ON YOUR FARM, make certain you have four pets fully equipped working on the farm and not resting in the Pet House.  These are the requirements to maximise votes.
To add 9 theme votes daily place the new Romantic Sakura Base on your farm and complete it becore you take your snapshot.
I do ask that you vote for HM. Freyashawk if this site is useful.  You need to be my neighbour if you wish to do this.  It is for rank which I cannot earn by myself.
I had to buy the Sweet Pea Plant from the Market for 9 RC so I could write this post quickly as I have a busy day today.

Popcorn Collection Mission

Crazy Fruit Activity

The Crazy Fruit Activity to me seemed simple yet bewildering.  The game instructions as often left gaps in the chain of events that became apparent only when one began to play.  I found it vexing but not worth the trouble of truly analysing it.  I simply shot the balls at the balls identical to them and hoped for the best.
Although you cannot purchase any of the Rewards or add to your points using RC, you can buy Grapefruit tickets with RC to use to play the game.  You can use 1 RC to purchase a bomb or other 'aid' as well.  The value of this is a little random as often the bomb does not improve the total.
The other way to obtain the Grapefruit tickets you need to olay is by growing the temporaey crops and tree.  They then can be processed for items of greater value.
The develipers unfortunately have found our Achilles Heel which is watering cans.  They look to that by generating more orders for the fruit from the tree than the crops.  It is slightly helpful to plant the meximum numbers of this tree and you can change the order by refreshing it.  Even so, the numbet of watering cans required nowadays can be brutal.
The action is simple: point the fruit gun and shoot.  Now here is where strategy can be employed.  If you shoot at an identical fruit, the two merge to create the next in size.  In other words, two tiny blue fruits create one red fruit.  If you create a formation where the fruits in the circle are perfectly placed to increase gradually, and then shoot the fruit in the gun at the one identical to it, it will generate a chain reaction to blast all the fruits in the chain and merge into the next size larger than the one at the very end.
It is imlortant to understand that some of these fruits only appear through merging.  The smallest of these merged fruits is the 'peach'  that is created with two lemons.  Next there is the orange, created by two peaches.  The other large fruits all must be created through merging.
It sounds simple, but again, paying attention to the order of the fruits in the circle can be helpful.  For example, if you have a tiny blueberry between two lemons, you have two options to improve that:
1.  Shoot another blueberry at it to create an apple, then shoot an apple to create the purple fruit.  Now you have the fruit directly below the lemon in the chain and when you shoot a purple fruit at its mate, a short chain will exist to take the lemon as well.
2.  The second strategy is to leave the blueberry in place, but shoot an apple, the next size of fruit, to its side.
The results are not that different, but creating chains within the circle really is the point of this game, and the longer the chain, the more points you receive when the chain reaction that merges the fruits occurs.
Each round of the game is on a timer, so you do need to make fairly quick decisions.
Note that a chain can be created at either end of the circle, as well as in the middle of all the other fruits.  You do not need to deal solely with the fruit at either end of the circle.
Essentially though, the main thing is to create the largest fruit and if possible, wipe as many off the table with your own chain reaction before the timer expires.  As I wrote at the start, I never really studied it in the past and simply shot at whatever fruit was identical.
My real issue with an activity like this one is the inabilty to opt out by paying RC for the prizes, and the sheer smount if time required to earn all of the prizes.  Instead of farming, we are playing a merge game.
As previously indicated, you can nake products that are worth more than the original ingredient when exchanged for Grapefruit tickets.
The Bomb and Random Fruit can be purchased for 1 RC and then when you touch either, it will load into the gun taking the place of the fruit there.  So do not do it when the fruit in the gun is useful!
I found little value in the bomb.  The Random Fruit is good for ceearing the largest posdible merge fruit, especially if it then can be used in a chain.  The bomb simply cleara three fruit from the curcle.  Useful I suppose if you are running out of time and three fruit are obstacles to a chain.  For example, if you have two nice dragon fruit in the centre of your circle but there is a blueberry, a lemon, and an apple between them, and little time left, you can use the bomb to get rid of those three, bringing the two dragon fruits together for a merge.  It is better to make those obstacle fruits larger and then make them into their own little chain if you can, but if you do not have sufficient time, the bomb can clear them from the centre of your circle.
Yakon Cake in Cake Machine
Prickly Pear Jam in Jam Maker
Prickly Pear Jam Bread
Yogurt Yacon Cake
Starfruit and Indian Gooseberry Juice

It is difficult to take notes while playing because of the timer but I believe the merge fruits in order are:
Peach
Orange
Pink Dragon Fruit
Brown Fruit
Green Fruit?

Pottery Workshop Quest and Pottery Vase Collection Mission

A new 11 day Quest has been released in tandem with a Collection Mission.  The reward is a Mastic Tree.  Mastic is an ingredient used both in chewing gum and in incense.

You will need the Sandwich Machine for the Vollection Mission.  Registration takes 13 hours, but it is one of the three irems in the Collection Set that gives 1 RC, 88 Green Mystrons, and a Gallery Book Flower Package if all are registered by the end of the Quest period.

I have written a separate post about the Exhibition Hall.  My recommendation to players who receive few visits from neighbours is to place as many fully loaded bases as possible in the Exhibition Hall as all cleanable decorations will give their designated gift boxes every 48 hours without any Neighbour visits.

Exhibition Hall

Last updated on 16 May with Level 6 upgrade information.

N.B.  As stated from the beginning, neighbour visits or interactions are NOT required to obtain either the gift boxes nor to count collections for the Exhibition Hall.  Only the timer of 48 hours matters.

Note from Freyashawk:
I would like to wish every reader a very Happy St. Valentine's Day.  There is a very charming new premium Animal in Seaside in the form of the Valentine White Horse who eats Love Fruit and produces Valentine Horse Hair.  These special festive Animals never are required for quests but the product can be requested randomly by a dragon or whatnot.  In any case, the little horse is adorable.   I would like to thank players for their votes always for HM. Freyashawk. I know I am too sentimental about old neighbours who are inactive to get the maximum number of votes nowadays but a part of me still wishes I could be in the top 10.  I was at 11 in the last contest, thanks to all who voted for my farm.  I am grateful!  It makes me feel the work is appreciated, even if I cannot do what I once did.

The latest update offers a new building called the Exhibition Hall.  You do not need to buy or build it.  It will appear to the left of the platform for Darryl's Adventure when your farm rwceives the update.  Updates always are staggered.  I received mine on the second day after it first was released.  The Rewards from the Exhibition Call only are given every 48 hours.
Essentially, you are given 12 slots in the Exhibition Hall at Level 1.  Each slot can hold a decoration or a base or a stacked base.  In this, it differs from the Warehouse where bases and their decorations must be stored separately.
Thus, you can move a fully stacked base from your farm to the Exhibition Hall into one slot and then view it as you did on your farm with the premium animated decorations interacting with one another.  This really is the function of the Exhibition Hall as its name suggests.
You will receive 1 'Reward' every 48 hours for each slot that has been filled.  You need a total of 60 to upgrade the Exhibition Hall to Level 2.  Note that a fully loaded base consisting of 5 items (base plus 4 decorations) gives only 1 Reward, just like a simple single decoration would.  So do not send fully loaded bases fo the Exhibition House for any Reward.  Do it only if your farm is crowded and you enjoy seeing the animated bases you no longer can for on your farm and would like to be able to move them back to the farm fully loaded when needed.
The other advantage of the Exhibition Hall is that every decoration stored there will give the appropriate gift box without being cleaned by your neighbours.   You will receive the gift boxes only every 48 hours, unlike those from decorations on your farm or in your warehouse, but the gift boxes are guaranteed when the base or decoration is in the Exhibition Hall.
That really is the purpose of the Exhibition Hall, mainly drsigned for high level players who have purchased every premium item through the years and feel they no longer can enjoy them because their farm is choc a bloc with everything even when fully expanded.
It is useful as well for those farmers who feel they do not receive sufficient visits from their neighbours.
So if you are not one of those farmers, just pop 12 decorations you do not want on your farm in the Exhibition Hall to fill the 12 slots so you can earn 12 Rewards every 48 hours as well as the gift boxes associated with those decorations.  The Rewards are used to upgrade the Exhibition Hall itself.
Other requirements to upgrade to Level 2:
20,000 Coins
10 Cannoli (Red Star version) from Stove House
10 Relief Tile (Neighbour Request or pay 1 RC each)
60 Rewards

As you can see, with a maximum of 12 Rewards every 48 hours, you cannot upgrade quickly!

Slow as upgrading is, there are options unlocked at higher levels.
There are two 'skins' that rqndomly increase Rewards.
At Level 5, you unlock a new skin that gives a 10% chance of doubling rewards after collecting them.
At Level 9, another new skin that gives a 20% chance of doubling after collecting rewards.
This is very much far in the future at this point!
Note after Collection:  I have 12 fully stacked bases in the Exhibition Hall.  I collected the following:
3 Purple Cleaning Gift Boxes
6 Blue Cleaning Gift Boxes
1 Golden Cleaning Gift Box

The decorations' gift boxes appear according to the schedule of when the items were placed in the Exhibition Hall rather than reset time.  As I filled the slots at different times, collection of Rewards and gift boxes was staggered.  I was able to collect more Rewards and gift boxes ultimately when the 48 hour cycle for all 12 was completed.  I verified  with Support that you will receive gift boxes for the decorations and bases in the Exhibition Hall without the action of any neighbour.  I did receive 12 Rewards total.

Upgrade Requirements for Level 6:

I did not log the precise requurements for the first 5 lebels but they did not change much.  The lower quality Cannoli continued to be a matweial needed through Level 5.  At Level 5, a new 'skin' became available without cost.

Level 6 Requirements:
20 Pavlova
Collect Rewards 180 times
10 Vibrant Paint Bucket (1 RC each)
60000 Coins
