Christmas Fair Cloud Farm

This is a 9 day Activity resembling the Collection Missions on Seaside when, claiming one each of the lower prizes will unlock the final Reward.
The final Reward in this case is a Christmas 'skin' for the Prismatic Patisserie.  The skin knocks 30 seconds from production time.

The Cloud Christmas Tree costing 250 Tokens gives Energy five times and then Cloud Farm Gift Bags.  It gave 200 Energy the first time.  It appears that the energy gift does not vary.

As of 26 December, gift boxes that cost 1 Energy to open and contain 30 Energy apoear periodically on the Cloud Farm.
A nice touch!

Note that a third bar appears in the Lab for 'Cloud Farm Techs'.  The techs are given below.

To earn Tokens, you can:
1. Produce limited time items
2. Use Christmas Fireworks Gift Bags
3. Complete Orders on the Cloud Farm

There are seasonal items that appear randomly now similar to those that appeared at the Hallowe'en season.

One yields Christmas Holly using 64 Energy.  The other uses 54 Energy and yields Christmas Bauble Orange

There is a Christmas Bauble Orange Mulled Wine: 4 Christmas Bauble Orange + 1 Spirit Mouse Candy

There is a Christmas Holly Candy Cane= 3 Christmas Holly + 1 Celestial Apple

If you actually wish to earn the tokens, you must sell the items you made from your Gift Box and then tap on the Tokens in your gift box to add them to your total.

From Christmas Holly Candy Cane, 8 Tokens and 20 Energy the first time, but it is random.  I received only 4 Tokens and 30 Energy the next time.
From the Mulled Wine, 5 Tokens, 5 Energy... and so on.  Kind of unfair.  I did receive 1 RC as well as Tokens and Energy with one item, but that was once only.

If you completed 35 Orders before this release, you cannot earn any tokens from Orders until reset.

The final prize requires 300 Tokens.

Christmas Fireworks Gift Bag had 5 Tokens, 1 Blue Mystron, 10 Coins

Note that when you visit a farm that used Fireworks, you can claim a fireworks bag that holds 1 Token.

Warning:  This activity uses a tremendous amount of Energy.  I am at Level 13, and have upgraded the Celestial Fountain a couple of times, but I have used over 5000 Energy and have not been able to claim the Cloud Christmas Tree yet!

Being required to spend 500 Energy before I can claim 35 Energy back at the Fountain is inadequate.

Snowy Christmas Quest and Christmas Candle Collection Mission

Wishing all a blessed Christmas,  whatever name you give this event.  It is the Winter Solstice as well.
I believe it is a reminder for all of us that life is reborn and Light will emerge somehow from the Darkness.

I know it has been a terrible year for many.  A year of loss, a year of pain... but let there be moments still of joy and beauty. And above all, friendship and love, and the strength that comes from those fundamental gifts.
May there be an end to suffering and despair.

From a poet killed last year:
'If I must die,
You must live to tell my story...
Buy a piece of cloth and some strings,
(Make it white with a long tail)
So that a child...
Sees the kite, my kite you made, flying up above,
and thinks for a moment an angel is there,
Bringing back love.
If I must die,
Let it bring hope.
Let it tell a story.'
(By Refaat alareer, killed last December
Poem: 'If I must Die.
The entire poem is worth reading.)

Photo Studio Activity December

Guide essentially complete as of 14 December.

All of these Photo Studio Activities follow the same path.

The ultimate goal can be found by tapping on the large star in the top left of the screen.  There are 25 Levels and two separate paths.  The 'Free' path and rewards are available to all.  The VIP Pass path requires a cash purchase but fives you a new Animal in the form of a Christmas Dragon at Level 20 and a Christmas Carriage Red Box decoration at Level 25.  With the Free path, the final Reward is a Festive Dragon Blue Box decoration at Level 25.

The Christmas Dragon eats Lucky Stars to produce Chrustmas Gift Bags.

Fill the Orders that appear on the left.  Merge the items on the map.  The number of orders will increase ultimately from two to four as your level increases.

This Photo Studio has a Christmas craft theme.

The 'Bubbles' that appear with items inside them are on a timer.  To burst the bubble to make them permanent, you can pay the gem value, use an Ad Skip Card or watch an advert.  It can become costly if you yield to too many temptations to retrieve these items.  Only use the options for the highest level item that allows this with the free options.  I only use gems if I really want to save a high level item.

Note that this Activity has an option to restore Energy, but only when your own Energy goes below 100 or 150 depending on your specific cap.  A timer will activate and Energy increases by two points every minute.

One small tip:  the temporary generator in the form of the Knitted Mittens has a lifespan of 20 items.  Randonly, it can become an Order.  Make certain you do not fill that Order until you produce 19 items from it and the count shows that only one remains.  I sometimes place a Knitted Mitten that has been reduced to 1 in my backpack in case such an Order appears.

Another tip is the Power Boost.  I usually have that activated, but it will prevent you from generating a Level 1  item.  Shut it off temporarily to produce Level 1 items from your generators to complete your chains.

There is a small reward for producing every new item in the Book.

Another situation that is both a benefit and a detriment is the Double Experience points timer.  This only activates at higher levels BUT only when your Energy is low.  Every Order you fill will be worth double the usual points until the timer expires.  When you run out of Energy, a special cash offer will activate in an effort to induce you to use cash to invest before the timer expires.  This does allow you to raise your Level quickly, however.

I have confirmed this now!  The Double Experience Point Bonus will not activate unless your Energy is low, below your cap.  Mine only activated at Level 23!

I do every activity first payibg through to write. Walkthrough like this and then a second time on my lower level farm to see how well one can do if one cannot spend a lot of cash on it.  On my little farm, therefore, thd Double Experience Bonus first activated at Level 11 because I had no Energy reserves.  I then thoughr of a very useful strategy to share here:

When your Energy goes below the cap and is almost entirely gone, do NOT fill the Orders on the Board.  Instead, create all of the items needed to fill the Orders but wait for the Double Experience Bonus to activate and then fill them all for double point value.

Maximum benefit from the activity requires that you pay attention to the board or map and to the Orders constantly.

The map or board has locked squares.  At each new Level, a couple of theae are unlocked.  Some hold new generators.  Others hold items that can be merged.  There is an advantage to having clear spaces on the Board.

At Level 0, you have the Small Craft Box that creates Letter Writing items

At Level 2, merge for Medium Craft Box that creates Paper Trinkets

At Level 4, you unlock the Small Knitting Basket that creates Knitwear

It also produces the Knitted Mitten that is a temporary Generator that produces Snowmen items.

At Level 5, a third Order is added.

At Level 6, you unlock the Christmas Stall that is generates Gingerbread items.

At Level 7, the Power Boost is unlocked.  Tap the switch to produce a higher level of item whenever you use a generator.  Energy cost is higher when the Power Boost is activated.

At Level 8, you unlock your first recipe generator
in the form of a Purple Christmas Stocking that requires:
Paper Bell + Gingerbread Xmas Tree = Christmas Tree

A fourth Order appears at  Level 10.

At Level 10, you unlock the Medium Knitting Basket thst simply generates higher level  Knitting items.

At Level 12, you unlock the Small Santa's Hut that generates Santa items of apparel.

At Level 14, you unlock the Christmas Shop that now generates Chocolate as well as Gingerbread.

At Level 16, you unlock a second recipe from the Green Christmas Stocking.
Snowman Base + Medium Hot Cocoa= Snowman Ice Cream

At Level 18, you unlock the Large Craft Box.  No new items but generates higher levels

At Level 20, you unlock the Large Knitting Basket.  No new items.

At Level 22, you unlock the Large Santa's Hut that generates both Santa and Reindeer items.

At Level 24, you unlock the third and last recioe in the form of the Pink Christmas Stocking.
Santa's Gifts + Magical Reindeer = Christmas Sleigh

Pocket Camp Complete Review

This post has no direct connection to Seaside, but many of the same individuals who are attracted to games like Seaside love Animal Crossing as well.  In fact, during the pandemic,  Animal Crossing becane a sort of alternate reality for individuals across the entire globe.  It may have been the most played game and individuals who never played a game were inspired to become involved with Nintendo's immersive and deligbtful world of talking animals and museum collections of fossils, insects and fish as well as landscapng and the cross-breeding of flowers.

Animal Crossing originally was designed for the GameCube.  I wrote a guide that was over 1000 pages for that game and it later was released for handheld systems like the DS.

The Animal Crossing New Horizons game for the Switch was the version that took the world by storm during the pandemic.  People were desperate for a safe exit of any kind from the prisons of their own homes in situations of lockdown.  Animal Crossing gave them that and more.

Seven years ago, Nintendo released a sort of free companion game for mobile devices entitled Pocket Camp.  It was a smaller version of the Animal Crossing vision.  Originally, players had a caravan instead of a house to decorate as well as a canpsite but the game was expanded to include a house wirh three floors.

Like every AC game, it was a game of friendships with animals combined with interior and exterior designs of a caravan, house and campsite and the collection of an enormous variety of fish and insects as well as furnishings and a huge array of clothing.  As it was a 'free' game like Seaside, premium items gradually were introduced but the game never became egregiously expensive.

At the end of November, Nintendo shut down the original Pocket Camp but offered an inexpensive new paid version of the game.  Nintendo always has been conscious of the emotional investmrnt of its players as well as the time spent in its virtual worlds.  The new paid Animal Crossing Complete allows a player to keep all existing items from the original but after the purchase of the paid game for a rather inexpensive price, there are no premium items and nothing requires payment in actual cash.

Any version of AC is a collection game.  Items are unlocked in different ways.  There are special collections and landscapes for every season and it is at your campsite that you can create an amazing world for yourself still.

For my part, the extraordinary seasonal landscapes, especially Sakura theme for Spring, falling maple leaves for Autumn and many different landscapes with festive lights and snowy trees and rivers for Christmas made me feel the new game had value.

In seven years, I had become less hardworking in the old game.  If I needed a fish or insect to give to an Animal, I usually could find it in a friend's market stall.  One could buy out of events to some extent.  I still played every day but spent very little time on it.

The new version has revitalised my interest.  The fact that one never needs to spend actual cash again creates a new dynamic.  If a player wants something, it must be earned, but rewards are easily earned and very generous.  With the new currency,  I was able to outfit my character in adorable Christmas attire I could noy havr ad
afforded in the original.  The current lists of special items to add to the catalogue are available for a month.  The pressure is gone now.  There is no pressure either from other players.  Every player can save up to 20 different landscapes and designs now and every player has an Animal helper who will  collect useful items throughout the day.  These were premium options in the other version.

Coins and Leaf Tickets as well as special new themed collections are earned in timed events.

You will unlock new Animals by sending Gulliver's ship out to sea and then using Blather's
Map to bring the Animal to your island.  Every Animal has a special item of furniture that is unlocked for you to craft at a specific level.  Crafting is very much a part of this game.  Items crafted are added to your catalogue and can be used on your campsite, in your caravan, in the house, or stored or sold.

You can fish, catch insects or grow flowers as gifts to Animals to raise their friendship levels and gain rewards.

Animal Crossing is a charming, slow paced game that is educational as well as somehow a stress reducer.

When I have recovered more from these surgical procedures necessitated by a new cancer that invaded, I will write a post with strategy 'tips and tricks', that really are gameplay suggestions really based on the new version.

Meanwhile, if you love Sraside but are finding it increasingly expensive and stressful, you might enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Pocket Camp Complete.  The graphics and Toy Day items are truly magical, especially at this holiday season.

Cloud Farm, Lv. 12 -15, Cloud Lab Level 7 +

My first Cloud Farm post has all information up to Lab Level 7.

As of 15 January 2025, I have reached Level 15 and have u locked the Dreamy Veil needed to upgeade the Cloud Lab.

Dreamy Veil requires 1 Ice Crystal Fairy Wand and 5 Celestiak Fox Fur to make, 150 OP.
I previously upgraded the Fountain to Level 5, maximum water jugs to give 50 Energy.  At Level 14 I unlocked the Watermelon Ice Crystal Juice.
Upgrading information for 5 Water Jugs and Fountain that gives 50 Energy is included.  To upgrade to 5 Jugs and 50 Energy, you need the Dreamy Veil outfit that is unlocked only at Level 15 or pay 10 RC which I did.
Requirements given at the end of this post.
I also reached Cloud Lab Level 9 to unlock new techs.

All that remains is to reach Level 15 to unlock the ability to make Dreamy Veils.  These are needed to upgrade the Cloud Lab to Level 10.  Level 10 unlockes a Cooking Stand Automaton Tech.

As of 27 December, I added two Cloud Farm Lab Techs and new Quests.  Information complete through Level 13.

This one will include the new levels up to Level 15 with upgrade requirements.

It might be useful to remind farmers how to register Cloud Farm items in the Gallery.  Although there is a menu in the upowr right that will take you directly to the Gallery, any Cloud items you own will NOT be recognised if you go directly to the Gallery using that icon.

Instead, you must tap on the yellow arrow at the bottom right when you are on the Cloud Farm.  You then must tap directly on the item you wish to register to initiate registration.  I had forgotten this was the case and was dismayed that ownership of my Ice Crystal Butterfly Deer was not displayed when I accessed the Gallery directly from the menu at the top.

Note that a third bar appears in the Lab for 'Cloud Farm Techs'. The techs are given below.
The new Animal will not even appear in the Cloud Farm at low levels.  I was able to claim it but I was at Level 12 before the update.

I contacted Support to find out the actual requirement and it is that you have unlocked the area that contains the Cloud Farm Lab.  If you have not reached this point, you will not be able to perform the quest that gives you the Ice Crystal Butterfly Deer.

Here is the good news.  If you are not able to see and claim the new Ice Crystal Butterfly Deer in the next 9 days, it evidently will be found in the Shop in the future.

More than one farmer had asked about Production Overview.  There are two techs.  One for Seaside and the other for the Island.  Both operate the same way.

What it really is for the farmer is a way to minimise taps.  Instead of tapping multiple times to fill machines and animals to full capacity, tap once and the rest is done automatically.

In similar fashion, tap once to collect all finished products from every animal or machine.

No cost in OP to use the tech.

To raise the Cloud Lab to Level 7, you will need:

50 Starfruit Serum
150 Star Princess Gown
2 Fortune Badges
15000 Cloud Coins

Level 7 at this point is the MAX for the Lab.

New Techs unlocked on the Island are:

CELESTIAL FOUNTAIN

Once built, the amount of energy you obtain is based on the upgrades.  I am at 30 Energy.  What I have experienced is that, after using 500 Energy, an Exclamation Point appeared over the Fountain.  Although I have more than one Water Jug, only one shook to allow me to collect 30 Energy from it.

Princess Trials Cinderella Treasure Island

Princess Trials Walkthrough:

Note from Freyashawk:

I have updated this site for more than a decade.   There are posts about almost every option in the game.  I know there are countless Facebook groups for Seaside.  I have one.  The beauty of this site, however, is that there is universal access.  You need not be on Facebook or belong to my group.  You need not be registered on Google either.  If the site no longer is useful, then I will no longer update it.  I have serious health issues again.  If you continue to find it useful, please consider voting for HM. Freyashawk.
I think Facebook now is prompting users to join groups, but I created this site so that no one needed to even use Facebook.

Energy Tip:  Energy is shared between Treasure Islands and Cloud Farm.  When you obtain the Float, if you still have unopened gift boxes, leave them on the map until the last day of the Activity.  Go to the Treasure Island each day to collect your temporary energy and then trade at the fountain.  Use the Energy on your Cloud Farm!

Final details:  Counting the Energy and Diamond totals from the Maps:
Before: 724, 246
Totals Without Golden Tool areas:
Map 1: 3194, 246
Add to Map 2: 5694, 246
Golden Tool Areas Map 1:
Before: 5694, 246
After: 8614, 280
With Map 2:
12659, 338

Introduction:
I understand that many farmers know how Treasure Island Activities work by now.  I will try to add some basic explanations for those who are unfamiliar with these Activities.

I wrote a direction based on previous Treasure Islands but discovered the developers changed the numbers.  At the beginning, temporary Energy   begins to accrue if your permanent energy is 100 or greater.   You only can withdraw it if your pernanent Energy drops below 100.  Later, however, the total changes to 120 and it only begins to accrue if your permanent Energy is 120 or greater and you can withdraw it only if your permanent drops below 120.*
*It is possible the greater limit is due to purchase of the VIP Pass, because although I completed Treasure Island, when I bought the VIP Pass, I saw a prompt to the effect that enwrgy increased by 30.  It now shows permanent Energy with a limit of 130.  This limit represents the highest it will accrue over time.  It appears that buying the Cloud Farm boost (Energy Benefit Card) raised it by another 10 points as now it displays a cap of 250.  Don't ask me to explain.  Trying to work it out.
The permanent energy will increase in time as well, however, gaining 1 point every 2 minutes but only initially until it reaches a total of 100 and possibly later, until it reaches 120 or whatever total you have obtained with purchases like the VIP Pass.  You have to pay attention.

The most important tricky aspect here are the ways the Energy bars work and how to use the Fountain.  I personally advise upgrading the Fountain to Level 4.
The green temporary energy bar only accrues energy when the permanent energy is at the number that reprezents your maximum.  So always try to leave the game without going below your maximum to allow temporary energy to build.  The total temporary energy begins at 100 but as you make progress on the map, ultimately will increase to 400.
It looks as though the cutoff point when you have a limit of 400 actually now depends on whether you have purchased a VIO Pass or Energy Card.  So it could be 120 Energy, 130 or even 150 instead of 100.  Also the temporary energy stopped when my permanent energy was below 120.  This is a small change in the game.
Your permanent Energy will increase over time and gains 1 point every 2 minutes, but only until it reaches your maximum.  When it is increasing, the bar will glow green.
You cannot use the Fountain if your energy exceeds 1000, so always try to make the trade at the fountain as soon as your ebergy total goes below 1000.  You must wait 8 hours before making another trade.

Note that, for those who do not have it, this is a second chance to obtain the Flower Puff Pastry Cake Machine by performing all Trades

As in other recent Treasure Island Activities, the Star Rewards are not the end of the journey.  One can obtain another Float in the form of the Royal Couple Float that gives 25 OP every four hours.

N.B.  Magic Flowers are a secondary item received whenever you clear objects.  The actual total received with any item is slightly random.  I have tried to make this clear by giving the result as 1-2 or 3-4 Magic Flowers when the total appears to fall in that specific range.  I am abbreviating Magic Flower as MF.

Trading Energy Fountain on first screen:  you cannot upgrade it if your energy total exceeds 1000.
Once your total is less than 1000, you can both trade and upgrade the fountain
Lv 2 costs 10 diamonds
Lv 3 costs 20 diamonds
Lv 4 costs 30 Diamonds

With Level 4, you can trade for 200 Energy and it takes 8 hours before you can make another trade unless you spend 96 Diamonds to skip the time which is counterproductive in my view.

Trader on 1st screen:
Final Prize for all Trades is a choice between Flower Puff Pastry Cake Machine or 1000 Energy
Other trades:
1 Toy Train: 30 E
6 Rubbwr Ducks: 2 RC
4 Teddy Bears: 1 Golden Pickaxe
4 Rockinghorses: 1 Golden Saw
2 Sailboats: 2 Golden Shovels
Make all trades to qualify for the final prize

The green Temporary Energy Gauge appeared very early when the first 'Get the Kite' task loads with a maximum of 100 Energy.   Temporary energy only accrues when rguular Energy is above 100 but you only can withdraw it when the regular Energy goes below 100.  Later the total changes to 120.

Another farmer claims 25,000 Energy is needed to go through the Activity to the very end to obtain the Float.  I do not like to post information I have not verified but will confirm when I can.

Not that the task conpletes when you open the little gate on the right.

To the left is a gate: 1 Scissors, 9 Pliers, 6 Butterflies
If you go through this gate, you can find 6 Keys.  I need 2 more
Pink bag contains Teddy Bear

To the righr is another gate: 1 Scissors, 8 Pliers, 4 Butterflies

In this area, you can find 6 keys

So the direction here is wrong, because I have not opened the original guardrail yet, but that task completed when I opened the little gate on the right.  Now there is a new task:

50.  Decorate the Palace Garden: 8 Brown Seed Bags, 10 Pocket Watch, 6 Scissors

51.  Decorate the Palace Garden: 10 Purple Seed Bags, 14 Watering Cans, 5 Scissors

52.  Make the Guard Go Away: 6 Stardust of Joy, 4 Invitation Letters, 5 Roses

53. Open the Palace Door: 8 Keys, 6 Candy, 390 Magic Flowers

To the left of the chamber you opened, you can open another by clearing one object.

7th Magic Fog in the northeast here requires 1 set of Golden Tools

54. Prepare Party Favours: 4 Luxury Fabric, 4 Quill Pens, 6 Stardust of Joy

Blue Bag has pink Rockinghorse

55. Clear Away bits of Plaster: 6 Brush, 4 Luxury Fabric, 4 Quill Pens

56. Prepare food for the Banquet: 4 Luxury Fabric, 4 Stardust of Joy, 4 Tableware

Northeast of the banquet table is the 8th Magic Fog requiring 3 sets of Golden Tools or 90 Diamonds.

For 24 E you can clear a small bottle in the southeast to open another small room.

57. Prepare food for the banquet: 8 Stardust of Joy, 4 Tableware, 4 Bottle Opener

Large tableware costs 66 E for 3 Tableware and 6 Magic Flowers, then 45 E for 2 Tableware and 5 MF then 23 E for 1 Tableware and 2 MF
Large bottle opener coats 60 E for 3 Bottle Opener and 5 MF then 41 E for 2 bottle opener and 4 MF then 21 E for 1 Bottle opener and 2 MF

58. Open the Inner Palace Door: 10 Keys, 10 Pliers, 350 Magic Flowers

59.  Prepare the Fairy Concert Stage: 8 Stardust of Joy, 4 Luxury Fabric, 12 Candy

102 E for large candy for 3 Candy, 14 MF, 70 E for medium for 2 Candy, 7 MF, 36 E for 1 Candy, 3 MF

Blue bag contains Rockinghorse

60. Prepare music for the banquet: 6 Stardust of Joy, 2 Candy, 4 Pocket Watch

(You can clear a roll of cloth to open another room above the singer, where the next singer sleeps)

To reach this, you must fix a carpet: 4 Luxury Fabric, 4 Safety Pins, 200 MF

Prepare music for the banquet: 6 Luxury Fabric, 10 Candy, 4 Pocket watches

61. Fix the Carpet: 4  Luxury Fabric, 6 Ribbon
To reach this, you must clear fallen plaster: 4 Brushes, 4 Luxury Fabric, 200 Magic Flower

After clearing the plaster, you will find the 3rd Mary's Surprise Cow at the top of the room where the carpet is

To the southwest is a 9th Magic Fog requiring 3 sets of Golden Tools
62. Shoo the Cat Away: 12 Milk, 8 Bread, 10 Candy

63. Repair the Candleabra: 10 Brush, 8 Pocket Watches, 8 Court Gloves
To reach it, you must open an Inner Door: 10 Keys, 12 Safety Pins, 8 Stone

64. Open the Inner Palace Door: 8 Keys, 6 Pliers, 280 Magic Flowers

65.  Restore the Decorative Fish Tank: 10 Stardust of Joy, 4 Court Gloves, 4 Pocket Watch

66. Make the Stepsister Go Away: 7 Stardust of Joy, 6 Rope, 5 Pliers
To do this, you must open another Inner Door:
8 Keys, 12 Pliers, 300 Magic Flowers

67. Fix the Carpet: 8 Luxury Fabric, 2 Scissors, 50 Magic Flowers

10th Magic Fog in the southwest requires 4 sets of Magic Fog

68. Make the Stepmother Go Away: 12 Stardust of Joy, 4 Ropes, 2 Scissors

69. Prepare the Fireworks Show: 12 Stardust of Joy, 6 Court Gloves, 4 Brush
To reach this, you must open a door: 10 Keys, 8 Pliers, 100 Magic Flowers

The last sailboat is in a pink chest at the bottom of this screen.  You mudt clear Star bottles to reach it.

70. Prepare the props  for the Acrobatic Show: 8 Luxury Fabric, 12 Scrolls, 8 Pocket Watches
To reach this, open a little gate to the east of the Fireworks: 8 Safety Pins, 8 Pliers, 240 Magic Flowers

71. Build the Grass Arch: 6 Scissors, 18 Pliers, 10 Grass

72.  Build the Royal Couple Float: 10 Pliers, 10 Scissors, 14 Wood

Stage 2: 8 Rope, 10 Brush, 10 Safety Pin

Stage 3: 12 Luxury Fabric, 12 Ribbon, 8 Perfume

Stage 4: 15 Stardust of Joy, 12 Butterfly, 560 Magic Flowers

So here we are at the ultimate waste of energy.  You do not need any more special items for this quest so any you obtain will be wasted.  Stone, wood and Grass give fewer Magic Flowers but can be used in the next Quest.
Note that, of the permanent items,  the Stone Flowers, the Large Wooden Owls and the largest Trees (costing from 54 to 50 E to clear) give the most Magic Flowers randomly.

12th Anniversary Celebration Card Rules

This year, Seaside's Anniversary Celebration revolves round collections of cards.
There are nine themes.  Each requires 9 specific cards and each has its own reward.  When you have claimed all nine, there is a final Reward that consists of 1000 Energy, 1 Rainbow Rain and a Baby Cloud Decoration that goes on your Cloud Farm.
The Baby Cloud when tapped yields 1 RC each day for 10 days and after that, it yields Energy.

There are five card types in terms of value.  Cards will be 1 Star to 5 Stars.

The first, Thorough Cleaning requires 7 specific 1 Star cards and two 2 Star Cards.

Farm Renovation requires 6 specific 1 Star Cards and three 2 Star Cards.

Market Shopping requires 5 specific 1 Star cards and four 2 Star cards.

Harvest Time requires 4 specific 1 Star Cards, three 2 Star Cards and two 3 Star Cards.

Tending the Garden is the first theme that requires a 4 Star Card.  It requires three 1 Star, two 2 Star, three 3 Star and one 4 Star.

Festive Delicacies requires three 2 Star, three 3 Star, two 4 Star and one 5 Star.

Beach Time requires two 2 Star, three 3 Srar, three 4 Star and 1 Five Star.

Float Parade requires three 3 Star, three 4 Star and three 5 Star.

Celebration Party requires two 3 Star, three 4 Star and four 5 Star cards.

Cards are acquired through the following:
From all four of the Daily Quest chests
From the Dedicated Farmer Bonus
From the first 5 Orders on the Order Board that have a gold background
From the eighth step of the current 11 day quest.

From the Photo Studio VIP Pass

In the Cloud Farm, you can earn them from the following:
Reward boxes in the Bazaar
From the Zeppelin
From completing the Adventurer's Fortune

From cash purchases:
You can buy card pack bundles from the 5th tab of the Card Menu.  You can obtain them with purchases of RC.  You can obtain them in special sales offers from activities like the Photo Studuo

Finally, the total number of cards you obtain can earn cards as rewards in 5 timed events in the 4th tab of the Card menu.  In these events, there are star level requirements.

We now are in the second event.  1 Star cards will not count towards the necessary totals in this event.
15 cards gives a 3 Star card
30 gives a 4 Star card
50 gives a 4 Star card
70 gives a 5 Star card

Total cards from 2 Star through 5 Star count towards every total in this event.

In the next event, only 3 Star through 5 Star cards will count.
That event ends on the 7th.
10 cards for one 4 Star card
20 cards for one 5 Star card
40 cards for one 5 Star card
60 cards for one 5 Star card

In the final event, only 3 Star through 5 Star cards count.
10 cards gives a 4 Ztar card
20 cards give a 5 Star card
40 cards give a 5 Star card
60 cards give a 5 Star card.

As you can see, you can use your totals to redeem the 4 and 5 Star cards you need.
Most of the cards you receive from daily tasks will be lower Star values.  All in all, if you redeem the required totals for each event, you will obtain five 4 Star cards and eight 5 Star cards.  You may receive some duplicates, but I found that most of the 4 and 5 Star cards I obtained were cards I actually needed.

When people suggest you do not open all of your cards, make cwrtain you complete all the totals for the current 4th tab event first!  There is no point im losing a potential four or five Star card by keeping cards unopened.

If you look at the theme requirements and event requirements, you will realise that once you receive all of the specified 1 Star cards needed for the themes, they have absolutely no value as they do not even count towards totals at this point.  In the next event, the 2 Star cards, if not needed to complete a theme still, no longer have any value either.

You always can purcahse a 4 or 5 Star card pack.  Just make certain that is what you are buying.  The Star value should be displayed on the offer.  Just be aware that the picture of Darryl holding a 5 Star card is only an advert.  It can be misleading.

Other ways to collect cards:
The zecond tab of the menu gives one card each day.  Near the end, the cards you receive will be mainly 4 Star.  The very last one will be 5 Star.

I hope this helps!

Halloween Parade Quest and Skull Collection Mission

Note from Freyashawk:  As ever, your votes for my farm in the Farm Beauty Contest are a measure of how useful this site still is, but although I have a Facebook Group for Seaside, access to this site does not require membership or anything else.  The information always have been freely available and I receive no money from Google either.  As I hate advertising, I do not allow it on my sites.
I wish to thank farmers for every single vote I receive.
I missed being 10th this time only by 400 votes.  In an ideal world, I would have made it this time if obly to obtain the Crowned Pirate Cat avatar.  You see, back in the day, I created custom levels for a game called Claw and wrote stories for my levels.  My 4 year old daughter fell in live wirh the dashing pirate cat, Captain Claw and vowed to marry him.  The developers of the game were beyond kind and sent her an original drawing of the Captain and a shirt made for a child with a sweet note.  Long Live our Heroes!

Seriously though, my primary reason for wanting HM. Freyashawk to rank is the association of my name with game strategy guides.  So I thank you all for your votes.

This quest has a reward in the form of a 5 Star Card packet.  Many high level farmers especially probably have earned every card required to collect the Anniversary Rewards except for a couple of 5 Star cards.  You can earn one of those here.

Note that the Rewards will not refresh according to Support.

12th Anniversary Card Packets:

You can obtain Card Packets daily by claiming one from the first tqb in the Card menu, filling the first 5 Orders on the Order Board (gold background), from the Daily Quest chests, and from Cloud Farm rewards.  The Zeppelin gives a card packet.  Reward chests in the Bazaar give card packets.  Other card packets are found in the Photo Studio, in the VIP Pass, in the Adventurer's Fortune.
Finally, the fourth tab in the Card menu counts your card totals.  These totals accrue in a time limited way so watch the timer.  Redeem all four rows if possible before thw timer expires.
There are four timed events here.  One has ended.  The current event ends on 30 October.  There are two in November.
There is a gap between events.  When this occurs, do not open any cards.  Save them for the next event.  For farmers, redeeming the last row's reward gives a 5 Star card, possibly the only one you will need.  The last two events in November each give 2 Five Star card packets.

Photo Studio 12th Anniversary

This is a detailed Walkthrough for the current Photo Studio Activity.  It now is complete through Level 25.

Note that, once you reach Level 25, and collect the final Prizes in the form of the Festive Tent Decoration and the Elephant Princess Decoration, you can collect a gift box each time you reach 100 points after that.  Mine contained 30 Energy and 50 OP.  Not really equal to the Ebergy expended I fear.
(My game froze at the tutorial this time.  So that was fun.  What confused me a little was that the Single Admission Ticket in fact is your first generator.  It does not look like one!  And with all the other 'tickets' flying about the farm at this point in time, I think it was a confusing choice.)

But here is the only tip that counts: any item with an Energy bolt at the bottom right is a Generator.

You can merge the Single Admission Ticket to a higher Generator as soon as you reach Level 2.  You then can generate another class of item.

The Level 1 Single Amusement Ticket creates Amusement Rides.

The Level 2 Admission Ticket for Two generates Childhood Toys as well.

The Menu, for a first time player is important to understand.

Your Level is on the top left.  Tap the Star to see the Rewards as you advance and purchase the VIP Pass.  In my opinion, either you get all the Rewards available in a long Activity or do not bother at all.  I know many players do simply get what they can without investing any real money, but  when you do that, you always miss out on either a special new Animal or Machine and then you are bedevilled forever with game requests for the product/s it produces.  In this Activity, the VIP Pass gives you the Big-Eared Elephant at Level 20.  The final level is 25 and gives cleanable decorations both for the Free Pass and the VIP.

The Big Eared Elephant eats Toffee Apples and gives Elephant Neck Pillows.

The Free Pass actually gives you an Avatar and Frame as well.

The VIP Pass will give you a couple of card packs as Rewards, in the form of 4 star and 5 star packs.  Other card packs are available as part of special offers through the Activity and are varying Star values.

The board is in the centre obviously and level increases unlock more squares and generators.

Orders appear to the left of the board and the number of Orders will increase with Level increases.

On the right is a box that identifies whatever item on the Board that you tap.  This cqn be useful when you tap the little 'i' that gives you all the details about it.  In fact that takes you to the Photo Album that shows all the items in the game and the chains of generation for each type and givves little rewards each time you unlock a new item.

You can access the Photo Album by tapping on the book as well.

To the left of the Book is a camera or backpack.  5his is storage with eight squares.  You can use gems to expand this if you feel more space is needed.

Energy and Gem totals are at the top right.  Tap the plus sign to acquire more.  Gems can be converted to Energy.  RC can be converted to Gems and then converted to Energy.

Note that tapoing the plus sign after the Energy total will take you to the Store.  Here the first purchase of 100 Energy each day costs 10 Gems.  The second purchase costs 20 Gems... and the price increases.  You can gamble instead on a Stamina Chest for 12 Gems.  That price doubles as well to 24 gems for a second purchase.
I bought one to log the contents and it contained the following:
15 Stamina, 40 Stamina, 25 Stamina, 2 Stamina, 15 Stamina.

I actually suggest that, if you need Energy, you buy 100 Stamina for 10 RC and 1 Stamina Chest fir 12 Gems each day and refrain from the purchases when the prices double.

This is a Merge game.  Energy too can be merged when it appears on the Board.  It is instinctive to merge every item possible, but be aware of the actual Orders that often want a lower level item.  I usually create one of the item in the chain at the highest level and then store that until it is demanded as an Order.

Be aware that you can tap on the revolving arrow on the top right of any Order to change it.

There are various special tools available.

The Universal Card that looks like a wand can be merged with any regular item to create an item at the next level.

The Splitter that looks like Scissors can be used on any regular item to reduce it to the next level below it in the chain.

Warning:  sometimes when you generate an item, an extra one will appear in a bubble.  You can use gems to burst the Bubble to obtain an item you can use.  This can be useful but it can be expensive.  I think I was induced to use far too many gems on the 'bubbles' in previous Photo Studios.  Now I I ignore most of them.  Only if the item is top level and difficult to generate do I consider popping a bubble now.

You can use an Ad Skip Card or watch an advert each day a specified number of times to pop the bubble as well.  This is worthwhile but try to use those for the items with higher values.

LIST OF GENERATORS
Level 1: Single Admission Ticket
Level 2: Admission Ticket for Two
Level 4: Basic Dessert Table
This Generator also allows you to create a temporary Generator in the form of the Two-Tiered Cake.

Level 14: Vanity Mirror
Level 18: Family Admissions Ticket
Level 20: Advanced Dessert Table
Level 22: Elegant Dining Table

LIST OF RECIPES:
Level 6: Blue Festive Box
Level 16: Green Festive Box
Level 24: Purple Festive Box

SPECIAL POWER:
Level 7: Power Boost

COMPLETE WALKTHROUGH:

At Level 2, you unlock the Admission Ticket for Two.
This allows to to create both the Amusement Rides and the Chikdhood Toys.

At Level 4, you unlock the next Generator in the form of the Basic Dessert Table that creates Cakes.  At Max Level, the Two-Tiered Cake is created.  This is a temporary Generator that produces items in the Birthday Essentials chain.  Temporary Generators create a specific number of items before disappearing.  You therefore need to keep creating them.  I think I counted a total of 20 items but will confirm.

Sometimes the temporary Generator itself will be requested in an Order.  I try to keep one that has exhausted itself for this purpose.  If you see an Order and do not have one on hand, create it and then generate as many items from it as you can before using it for the Order.

At Level 5, you unlock a third Order.

At Level 6, you unlock the first Recipe in the form of the Blue Festive Box
Uses Circus Tent + Party Horn= Party Popper

At Level 7, you receive card packets: 5 star for VIP and 3 star for Free.

More importantly, you unlock the Power Boost.  By switching it on, you produce a higher level of item.  It does consume 2 points of Stamina instead of 1 for each action.

At Level 8, you unlock a new Generator in the form of the Floor Mirror that produces Accessories.

At Level 10, you unlock the Level 2 Intermediate Dessert Table.  This generates higher levels of Cakes.  Nothing new.

You have four Orders now.

Over halfway through Level 11, the double boost for Orders activated for the first time for 15 minutes.

At Level 12, the Simple Dining Table is unlocked.  It is a generator that produces Party Drinks.

At Level 14, you unlock the Level 2 Vanity Mirror Generator.  This produces both Accessories and aFormal Wear.

.At Level 16, you unlock the second Recipe in the form of the Green Festive Box.
Building Blocks + Skirt= Anniversary Cow

At Level 16, at 183 points, the Double Bonus activated for 15 minutes.

At Level 18, unlock the Family Admissions Ticket.  No new items generated, just higher level items.

At Level 19, at 71 points, the Double Bonus activated for 15 minutes.

(You may not want to read this, but every time it activated, a surprise special cash bundle activated as well.  They all activated when I was almost our of Energy.)

At Level 20, unlock the Level 3 Advanced Dessert Table.  No new items produced.

At Level 21, 75 points, another 15 minute Double Bonus activated.

At Level 22, the Level 2 Elegant Dining Table was unlocked.  It produces Party Dishes as well as Party Drinks.

At 121 points for Level 23, the final 15 minute Double Bonus activated.  At the same time, another Surprise Sake that would expire at the sane time as the Double Bonus expired activated.  I have given the points at which all the Double Bonus events activated.  It may or may not be the same for other farmers.  It always coincided for me with a point at which my Energy was less than 100.

At Level 24, I unlocked the third Recipe in the form of the Purple Festive Box.
Intermediate Cocktail + Roast Turkey= Party Feast
