Strategies and Tips

You have 11 days to complete the Quest but if you do not finish it, the Lighthouse option will allow you to work on it later for the final Reward. What you cannot do after the Quest expires is complete the Collections Mission. In this case, the Collections Mission Reward is a Stove House Recipe. That will be added to the Stove House Recipe department in the Market once the Quest expires so you can use RC to purchase it. In other words, though, if you do not wish to use RC for any of this, you always should complete the Collections Mission first. When the Collections Mission Reward is a Tree, you often can find it in the Market even during the 11 days when the Quest is active to purchase using RC.
Planting in Advance

You really do not need a list of all the Tasks in order to complete these Quests but one of the ways a guide is helpful is to give you advance warning about the next Crop to plant. Here is a list of all the Crops you will need to plant:

Another task for which advance preparation often saves time and money is Batch Production for a Machine or Animal Product. Remember that you now can store Machines and Animals in the Warehouse without collecting their products first. If you do not have much space on your farm or do not have sufficient slots to put many into Batch Production simultaneously, storage after completion but before you have reached the task may be useful.

Transport Tasks

Another task you can set up in advance is Transport of items to and from the Island. This can be a little trickier, however, as you need to remember NOT to collect anything at all until you reach the Task that requires the transport. Unlike Batch Production or the Beauty Shop or other options of that sort, I do not believe you can pick and choose which items to collect from the Zeppelins. Any and all items that have arrived will be collected when you choose the option to collect.
There is only one Transport task in this Quest:
Transport 60 Honey to the Island
If you can remember not to collect them before the task is active, you can split them between your Zeppelins and complete the task instantly when you reach it.
Empanada Stove House Recipe

Gumball Collections Mission
N.B. You will find the current timed Mission below this post.
Only new players probably will be interested in this post. Most other players will be familiar with this style of Collection Mission.
What it involves is first, placing an item from the Market on your farm and then collecting from ANY or EVERY type of Crop, Animal, Tree or Machine to obtain the Collection item. In this case, you purchase the Gumball Machine in the Market for 500 Coins and then collect Gumballs. Once placed, you have five days before the Gumball Machine will expire and become an item with which there is no more interaction.
Only the Seaside Farm will yield Gumballs, however. The Island is not involved in this Mission. You can use Batch Production and Farm Aids such as Rainbow Rain to speed your Collections. I did not obtain any when I used Goldfinger Tech however... perhaps I am unlucky but I somehow feel you will not be able to collect this way.
The final Reward which is a Toy Submarine Decoration must be unlocked before you can use your Gumballs to trade for it. You unlock it by obtaining at least one of each of the subsidiary Rewards. In this case, these are:
Machine Head: 1 Gumball or 1 RC each
This is one of the Materials needed to upgrade your Gumball Machine and the only Reward where the cost will not increase
Organic Fertiliser (x25): 1 Gumball (increasing each time you redeem one) or 1 RC each
Soda Cooler: 200 Gumballs or 10 RC . (The Soda Cooler Decoration is one of the Theme items in the current Beauty Contest)
Super Fertiliser (x6): 1 Gumball (increasing each time you redeem one) or 1 RC each
Once you have purchased or redeemed one of each of the above, you can begin to collect Gumballs for the final Reward.
Toy Submarine: 350 Gumballs
To participate in the Mission, you must tap on the Gumball Machine once you have placed it. You then will see all the Rewards with their current prices as well as an option to 'Improve your Luck'. When you tap on that, you will be taken to the Upgrade Screen. The Machine Head is one of the upgrade Materials and the Machine Bottom is the other until you reach the final Upgrade screen.
You can request Machine Bottoms from your neighbours using the old method rather than posting to the dreaded Chat!
It is only when the Gumball Machine is upgraded to Level 5 that you actually 'Improve your Luck' as then you will receive 2 Gumballs rather than 1 Gumball randomly from your harvests.

There are many different considerations here, and if you think you will have a difficult time obtaining over 500 Gumballs in 5 days or if you care more about the final Toy Submarine Decoration than anything else, my own strategy would be to BUY 1 Soda Cooler for 15 RC rather than amassing 200 Gumballs for it. I actually have a Soda Cooler and am not keen on duplicating it, but that is probably what I will do here, as I lack constant access to my farm at the moment.
You need 25 Gumballs for the Materials to upgrade to Level 5 using the Machine Heads you can obtain with Gumballs. You need an additional minimum of 203 to trade for one of each of the subsidiary Rewards in order to unlock the ability to trade for the Toy Submarine... then 350 Gumballs for the Toy Submarine.

Modern Family Farm Quest and Pickle Jar Collection Mission
A new time-restricted Quest in tandem with a Collections Mission has been released. You can merge a Beach Base in the Factory once you have collected both Materials. The first material has been available in the first two Chests on the Daily Quest path. Today, on Friday, 16 June, it still is being found in those Chests.
Today for the first time, you can collect the second material in the highlighted Order on the Daily Order Board. With 100 TC, you can refresh the Order Board, thereby obtaining a new highlighted Order. With another 100 TC, you can refresh again.

Beach Jungle Farm Beauty Contest
A new Farm Beauty Contest has started. You really do need to maximise the Votes from the four Characters if you wish to achieve the Decoration at 4000 Votes or the Avatar at 6000 Votes. Asking for Votes from other players is NOT the answer unless you are very close to 200 Votes per day from the 4 Characters or 300 Votes per day from the same 4 Characters.
It is the current photograph or Snapshot of your Farm that is the basis for ALL Votes, not the current state of your Farm if you changed anything. In other words, take your time to organise your Farm BEFORE you take the initial 'Snapshot' for entry to the Contest. This can make a big difference as every day counts in these contests.
The key to this is balance. You need to have a variety of Crops on the Farm. Try to have 16 different Crops growing... the total number needed may be lower from 12 to 13 but it is easy to grow different Crops and you have nothing to lose.
You need to have at least 12 different Machines on your Farm to obtain the maximum Votes for Machines from Dad. Some players claim that the Salad Machine has counted as two Machines in the past but again, to be safe, move as many Machines onto your Farm as possible before you take your initial Snapshot.
Do the same with respect to your Trees. You need a variety of Trees. Duplicates never count. Most players should not have any trouble in placing 16 different types of Trees on the farm. I believe that the total needed is less, possibly 12 or 13 but again, it does no harm to be safe.
Finally, there are the Animals. Butterfly Houses and Beehives of each type count as Animals and every type counts as a different Animal.
Landscape Points count for Votes with three of the Characters. You do not even need 2300 Landscape Points to maximise these votes. I believe the actual total is close to 2250 points but need to confirm for the current contest.
Expansions are another good source of votes. You only need to have performed a few expansions to gain maximum votes from Felicia and Dad for expansions.
Another category is your Gallery. Now that you can register Crops and other items, even low level players should be able to maximise votes for a good Gallery. Votes are based on the number of items you have registered. Your Gallery 'upgrades' at specific totals.
Finally there are votes for a 'high level' farm. I have not achieved the maximum on Harvest Moon FDC yet because I believe you have to be at Level 150 now for this.
'Theme' gives votes from three of the four Characters. Your best bet to maximise your Theme Votes if you have not played long or did not collect Reward Decorations for any other reason would be to purchase the Chameleon from the special sale offer in the top right of the screen. It is expensive but if you are not at maximum for Theme, it can give you 9 extra Votes for theme each day from the Characters.
Beach Base

The Beach Base is one of the few old Decorations that will give you 2 Votes from each of three of the Characters.
If you have not performed the Mission in the past, you can find the Summer Camp Mission in the Lighthouse that gives the Beach Base as its final reward. A second Beach Base now will be available in the Factory. Find Materials for it by collecting the first two Chests from the Daily Quest path.

It is the current photograph or Snapshot of your Farm that is the basis for ALL Votes, not the current state of your Farm if you changed anything. In other words, take your time to organise your Farm BEFORE you take the initial 'Snapshot' for entry to the Contest. This can make a big difference as every day counts in these contests.
The key to this is balance. You need to have a variety of Crops on the Farm. Try to have 16 different Crops growing... the total number needed may be lower from 12 to 13 but it is easy to grow different Crops and you have nothing to lose.
You need to have at least 12 different Machines on your Farm to obtain the maximum Votes for Machines from Dad. Some players claim that the Salad Machine has counted as two Machines in the past but again, to be safe, move as many Machines onto your Farm as possible before you take your initial Snapshot.
Do the same with respect to your Trees. You need a variety of Trees. Duplicates never count. Most players should not have any trouble in placing 16 different types of Trees on the farm. I believe that the total needed is less, possibly 12 or 13 but again, it does no harm to be safe.
Finally, there are the Animals. Butterfly Houses and Beehives of each type count as Animals and every type counts as a different Animal.
Landscape Points count for Votes with three of the Characters. You do not even need 2300 Landscape Points to maximise these votes. I believe the actual total is close to 2250 points but need to confirm for the current contest.
Expansions are another good source of votes. You only need to have performed a few expansions to gain maximum votes from Felicia and Dad for expansions.
Another category is your Gallery. Now that you can register Crops and other items, even low level players should be able to maximise votes for a good Gallery. Votes are based on the number of items you have registered. Your Gallery 'upgrades' at specific totals.
Finally there are votes for a 'high level' farm. I have not achieved the maximum on Harvest Moon FDC yet because I believe you have to be at Level 150 now for this.
'Theme' gives votes from three of the four Characters. Your best bet to maximise your Theme Votes if you have not played long or did not collect Reward Decorations for any other reason would be to purchase the Chameleon from the special sale offer in the top right of the screen. It is expensive but if you are not at maximum for Theme, it can give you 9 extra Votes for theme each day from the Characters.
Beach Base

The Beach Base is one of the few old Decorations that will give you 2 Votes from each of three of the Characters.
If you have not performed the Mission in the past, you can find the Summer Camp Mission in the Lighthouse that gives the Beach Base as its final reward. A second Beach Base now will be available in the Factory. Find Materials for it by collecting the first two Chests from the Daily Quest path.

New Areas of Mootopia and new Pets
Last updated on 27 September with 3 Star Lagoon descriptions. On 25 August July added materials needed to unlock the 11th slot in the Pet House as well as changes developers made with respect to unlocking the Wilderness Map and Forest area.
Originally, the names were given incorrectly in the game itself, but the correct name for the second Map is Wilderness and the first two quarters are Forest and Lagoon.
It appears that requirements for unlocking new Areas of Mootopia have changed. For a start, the old requirement to have two Turtles in order to progress has been waived in the sense that the game will pretend you have met the requirement even if you have only one Turtle. The only requirement now furthermore to progress to the 'new map' of the Wilderness is based on 2 Star Metropolis.
This post is connected to the new update that offers new types of Pets when you invite Guests from the four new Areas of Mootopia... will update post as quickly as possible. As always, I have included actual Order Lists from the Guests from various areas. The current timed Mission will be found in the post below this one. Update gifts from Felicia are: 5 Pet Food, 10 Lab Cards, 10 Cat Cards, 10 Turtle Cards, 3 Bear Cards.
You will find the initial stats for the Hedgehog at the bottom of this post.

Unlocking Wilderness: There are specific requirements now that are related primarily to 2 Star Mootopia but unfortunately, as I unlocked the new Map prior to the change, I do not have the precise new requirements. It is a bit MORE than simply having unlocked and invited a guest group from 2 Star Mootopia.
Pet Breeding

This is an advanced option really only for Farmers who have too many high level pets now and wish to clear space.
Breed your Pet with Pets of other farmers in Breeding Room. Your Pet must be Level 20 to be eligible for breeding. After breeding, your Pet will disappear. You receive either a Skill Book or a new Baby Pet.
N.B. Until 15 June, receive 1 Bedding Roll and 30 TC when you use Breeding Feature in Pet House.
In other words, instead of simply letting a Pet go, you can breed it now for a new Pet.
Note that you do not need a Male and Female Pet of the same type in order to obtain a Baby Pet. You need 1 Pet to breed with a Neighbour's Pet.
Supposedly there is a new slot in the Pet House so theoretically you can own a total of 11 Pets now.
YOU MAY NOT HAVE THE BREEDING OPTION IF YOU ONLY HAVE A TOTAL OF FOUR PETS, IRRESPECTIVE OF THEIR LEVELS.
You may need at least one 'extra' Pet beyond the original four.
Pet Breeding

Here is a detailed description of the Pet Breeding option:
As players unlock new slots and new pets, they may find they are going to be in a position where they have more Pets than the game will allow. Originally, one simply had to 'trade out' or free a Pet in order to obtain a different one. This was rather a sad business, so the Pet Breeding option was added to the game.
You need to have a Pet at Level 20 or higher to make it eligible for breeding. You will not be able to place a Pet in the Breeding Nest unless it is inactive. What this means essentially is that it cannot be in one of the four 'active' Pet slots. The inactive Pet line-up is shown in the SECOND tab of the Pet House, while the 'active' Pets are shown in the first tab. It has nothing whatsoever to do with the status of an active Pet... whether out opening a Chest or taking an Order or sleeping in the Pet House. If the Pet is in one of the four 'active' Slots, you cannot breed it until you switch it out to inactive status where you will see it only in the second slot.
If you wish to breed a Pet, you need a Neighbour to accept your invitation after you place your Pet in the Breeding Nest. Note that you will lose your Pet essentially once you have bred it. You will receive a reward in the form of a baby Pet or a special Skill Book. The only reason to breed a Pet is if you have too many Pets and wish to clear one out... for example, if you have only Male Dogs or Male Cats, you may wish to try to obtain a Female through Breeding. It is an advanced option that allows you to obtain a Reward for letting a Pet go.

You now can register your Pets in the Gallery and a Male Pet is registered separately from a Female Pet of the same species or type, so this is another way to try to persuade us to trade out or breed our Pets in an attempt to obtain one of a different gender.

The requirement for doing so did not appear for me initially as I had met it without knowing it existed. I do know now, however, that you need to have unlocked 2 Star Metropolis to be able to progress to the Wilderness Map.
The actual requirements now are:
24 Telescopes
1000 Landscape Points
35000 Coins Earned (earned from Metropolis 2 Star)
Have 4 Level 12 Pets
Scroll to the right of the Map to find 4 new areas on a Map called Wilderness. You will need to earn 22875 Coins from 1 Star Forest Guests to unlock 2 Star Forest Guests. It may or may not take 6 Visits to achieve total.... it depends on how quickly you can take the Orders. You will need 65000 Coins from either level of Forest to unlock 1 Star Lagoon. If you wish to invite Lagoon Guests, you will need access to the Island as one of the requirements is 200 Dev Points. Dev Points are linked to the Island.
When you unlock 2 Star Forest, you will find that, although the number of Orders for each Guest remains only 3, the Bargaining Cost is far higher at 325 Stamina for each Guest Order. Furthermore, there are 5 Guests instead of only 3. They may ask for advanced Stove House Dishes such as Cubic Apple Tart or Island items. Be prepared!
New areas of Mootopia give new Pet Cards. The Guests from Forest give Hedgehog Cards.
Lagoon Guests include Water Guests and give Hippo Cards.

Forest Guests certainly are fond of Stove House Dishes but I thought it might be useful to add a little warning about this. Some Dishes only have one version which means a star of one colour after the dish and only one icon. Others, like the Exotic Cherry Cake or Stuffed Scary Tomato have two different versions which means two different pictures and two different star colours beside them. If you have to purchase the Dish from the E-Mart, make certain you do not waste TC on the wrong version!

Each Guest requires 700 Stamina per order and each gives a total of 4 Orders, except for Flint who requires 850 Stamina and has a total of 6 Orders. Note, however, that you can receive far more Hedgehog Cards from this group than from 1 Star or 2 Star Forest. The final Reward in many cases includes 3 Hedgehog Cards, but Orders include Stove House dishes as well as Beauty Shop items.

Tips on Upgrading Pet House and Pets

Due to the addition of the Flea Market to the game, players can buy materials needed for Pet House upgrades from other Farmers, especially when these are Stove House Dishes such as the Blue Star French Fries or the Gold Star Baked Banana Splits if they have not unlocked these themselves or do not have the desire or patience to make them in their own Stove Houses.
There are other materials, however, that cannot be purchased. These primarily consist of the Telescopes randomly found in Chests opened by Pets on the Paths and the Pink Paint randomly given by Guests when their Orders are filled.
The other type of Upgrade is the Upgrade in Level for your Pets. There are a number of way to earn Experience Points to increase your Pets' Levels.
The way by which the most Experience is earned is through bargaining with Guests. Remember always, however, that the Pet will not be able to interact AT ALL with a Guest if the Guest has too high of a Bargaining Cost for that specific Pet. You can find the Bargaining Cost for each Guest in the Guest Lists in this Post and my original 'All About Pets' Post.
The Bargaining Cost for any Forest Guest is as follows: if 'Easy', it is 125 Bargaining Cost. 'Medium' is 325 Bargaining Cost and 'Difficult' is 700 Bargaining Cost.
If you look at the initial Stamina of the Hedgehog that can be obtained from Hedgehog Pet Cards earned from these Forest Guests, you will see that it is 200. What this means essentially is that you cannot use a Level 1 Hedgehog to meet any of the 2 Star or 3 Star Forest Guests. You need to increase his/her Stamina to 325 at least if you wish to use a Hedgehog in an active Pet group to meet with 2 Star Forest Guests.
Another way to earn Experience is by setting the Pet to open Chests on the paths. Smaller amounts of Experience are earned but it is a good activity for low level Pets.
Finally, you can obtain Pet Cookies/Biscuits from performing tasks in the Coffee House and when your Pet Searches for any Coffee House item demanded, he/she will earn 30 Experience whether or not the item is found.
How do you determine which Pets to use and which area of Mootopia and which Guest Group to choose? Well, it all depends on your current goal. I never distinguished between different goals initially. I simply struggled to move forward and always invited the most difficult group in the most recent area I had unlocked.
It was recently that I realised there was a difference between the goal of collecting specific Pet Cards and the goal of collecting Pink Paint. If I had a Hedgehog, did I really need to continue to invite 2 Star Forest Guests to earn the Pink Paint I needed to unlock a new slot in my Pet House? If the 2 Star Metropolis were easier to satisfy, why not invite them instead, at least until I obtained the 600 Pink Paint I needed?
I therefore offer this little tip to other farmers. Look at your primary goal. If you wish to earn specific Pet Cards, then you look for the Guest Groups that give those Cards as Rewards, but if you wish to earn Pink Paint, find the easiest Guest Groups to give it to you!
Originally, the names were given incorrectly in the game itself, but the correct name for the second Map is Wilderness and the first two quarters are Forest and Lagoon.
It appears that requirements for unlocking new Areas of Mootopia have changed. For a start, the old requirement to have two Turtles in order to progress has been waived in the sense that the game will pretend you have met the requirement even if you have only one Turtle. The only requirement now furthermore to progress to the 'new map' of the Wilderness is based on 2 Star Metropolis.
This post is connected to the new update that offers new types of Pets when you invite Guests from the four new Areas of Mootopia... will update post as quickly as possible. As always, I have included actual Order Lists from the Guests from various areas. The current timed Mission will be found in the post below this one. Update gifts from Felicia are: 5 Pet Food, 10 Lab Cards, 10 Cat Cards, 10 Turtle Cards, 3 Bear Cards.

Unlocking Wilderness: There are specific requirements now that are related primarily to 2 Star Mootopia but unfortunately, as I unlocked the new Map prior to the change, I do not have the precise new requirements. It is a bit MORE than simply having unlocked and invited a guest group from 2 Star Mootopia.
Pet Breeding

This is an advanced option really only for Farmers who have too many high level pets now and wish to clear space.
Breed your Pet with Pets of other farmers in Breeding Room. Your Pet must be Level 20 to be eligible for breeding. After breeding, your Pet will disappear. You receive either a Skill Book or a new Baby Pet.
N.B. Until 15 June, receive 1 Bedding Roll and 30 TC when you use Breeding Feature in Pet House.
In other words, instead of simply letting a Pet go, you can breed it now for a new Pet.
Note that you do not need a Male and Female Pet of the same type in order to obtain a Baby Pet. You need 1 Pet to breed with a Neighbour's Pet.
Supposedly there is a new slot in the Pet House so theoretically you can own a total of 11 Pets now.
YOU MAY NOT HAVE THE BREEDING OPTION IF YOU ONLY HAVE A TOTAL OF FOUR PETS, IRRESPECTIVE OF THEIR LEVELS.
You may need at least one 'extra' Pet beyond the original four.
Pet Breeding

Here is a detailed description of the Pet Breeding option:
As players unlock new slots and new pets, they may find they are going to be in a position where they have more Pets than the game will allow. Originally, one simply had to 'trade out' or free a Pet in order to obtain a different one. This was rather a sad business, so the Pet Breeding option was added to the game.
You need to have a Pet at Level 20 or higher to make it eligible for breeding. You will not be able to place a Pet in the Breeding Nest unless it is inactive. What this means essentially is that it cannot be in one of the four 'active' Pet slots. The inactive Pet line-up is shown in the SECOND tab of the Pet House, while the 'active' Pets are shown in the first tab. It has nothing whatsoever to do with the status of an active Pet... whether out opening a Chest or taking an Order or sleeping in the Pet House. If the Pet is in one of the four 'active' Slots, you cannot breed it until you switch it out to inactive status where you will see it only in the second slot.
If you wish to breed a Pet, you need a Neighbour to accept your invitation after you place your Pet in the Breeding Nest. Note that you will lose your Pet essentially once you have bred it. You will receive a reward in the form of a baby Pet or a special Skill Book. The only reason to breed a Pet is if you have too many Pets and wish to clear one out... for example, if you have only Male Dogs or Male Cats, you may wish to try to obtain a Female through Breeding. It is an advanced option that allows you to obtain a Reward for letting a Pet go.

The requirement for doing so did not appear for me initially as I had met it without knowing it existed. I do know now, however, that you need to have unlocked 2 Star Metropolis to be able to progress to the Wilderness Map.
The actual requirements now are:

35000 Coins Earned (earned from Metropolis 2 Star)
Have 4 Level 12 Pets
Scroll to the right of the Map to find 4 new areas on a Map called Wilderness. You will need to earn 22875 Coins from 1 Star Forest Guests to unlock 2 Star Forest Guests. It may or may not take 6 Visits to achieve total.... it depends on how quickly you can take the Orders. You will need 65000 Coins from either level of Forest to unlock 1 Star Lagoon. If you wish to invite Lagoon Guests, you will need access to the Island as one of the requirements is 200 Dev Points. Dev Points are linked to the Island.
When you unlock 2 Star Forest, you will find that, although the number of Orders for each Guest remains only 3, the Bargaining Cost is far higher at 325 Stamina for each Guest Order. Furthermore, there are 5 Guests instead of only 3. They may ask for advanced Stove House Dishes such as Cubic Apple Tart or Island items. Be prepared!
New areas of Mootopia give new Pet Cards. The Guests from Forest give Hedgehog Cards.
Lagoon Guests include Water Guests and give Hippo Cards.

Forest Guests certainly are fond of Stove House Dishes but I thought it might be useful to add a little warning about this. Some Dishes only have one version which means a star of one colour after the dish and only one icon. Others, like the Exotic Cherry Cake or Stuffed Scary Tomato have two different versions which means two different pictures and two different star colours beside them. If you have to purchase the Dish from the E-Mart, make certain you do not waste TC on the wrong version!

Tips on Upgrading Pet House and Pets

Due to the addition of the Flea Market to the game, players can buy materials needed for Pet House upgrades from other Farmers, especially when these are Stove House Dishes such as the Blue Star French Fries or the Gold Star Baked Banana Splits if they have not unlocked these themselves or do not have the desire or patience to make them in their own Stove Houses.
There are other materials, however, that cannot be purchased. These primarily consist of the Telescopes randomly found in Chests opened by Pets on the Paths and the Pink Paint randomly given by Guests when their Orders are filled.
The other type of Upgrade is the Upgrade in Level for your Pets. There are a number of way to earn Experience Points to increase your Pets' Levels.
The way by which the most Experience is earned is through bargaining with Guests. Remember always, however, that the Pet will not be able to interact AT ALL with a Guest if the Guest has too high of a Bargaining Cost for that specific Pet. You can find the Bargaining Cost for each Guest in the Guest Lists in this Post and my original 'All About Pets' Post.
The Bargaining Cost for any Forest Guest is as follows: if 'Easy', it is 125 Bargaining Cost. 'Medium' is 325 Bargaining Cost and 'Difficult' is 700 Bargaining Cost.
If you look at the initial Stamina of the Hedgehog that can be obtained from Hedgehog Pet Cards earned from these Forest Guests, you will see that it is 200. What this means essentially is that you cannot use a Level 1 Hedgehog to meet any of the 2 Star or 3 Star Forest Guests. You need to increase his/her Stamina to 325 at least if you wish to use a Hedgehog in an active Pet group to meet with 2 Star Forest Guests.
Another way to earn Experience is by setting the Pet to open Chests on the paths. Smaller amounts of Experience are earned but it is a good activity for low level Pets.
Finally, you can obtain Pet Cookies/Biscuits from performing tasks in the Coffee House and when your Pet Searches for any Coffee House item demanded, he/she will earn 30 Experience whether or not the item is found.
How do you determine which Pets to use and which area of Mootopia and which Guest Group to choose? Well, it all depends on your current goal. I never distinguished between different goals initially. I simply struggled to move forward and always invited the most difficult group in the most recent area I had unlocked.
It was recently that I realised there was a difference between the goal of collecting specific Pet Cards and the goal of collecting Pink Paint. If I had a Hedgehog, did I really need to continue to invite 2 Star Forest Guests to earn the Pink Paint I needed to unlock a new slot in my Pet House? If the 2 Star Metropolis were easier to satisfy, why not invite them instead, at least until I obtained the 600 Pink Paint I needed?
I therefore offer this little tip to other farmers. Look at your primary goal. If you wish to earn specific Pet Cards, then you look for the Guest Groups that give those Cards as Rewards, but if you wish to earn Pink Paint, find the easiest Guest Groups to give it to you!

Adventurous Voyages and Balloon Collections Mission
Fanous Ramadhan or Fanoos Ramadan
This is the final Reward for the traditional Quest sequence. It is associated more with Islam and the holy month of Ramadhan than it is with tales of Sinbad the Sailor although the tales originated in the Arab World long ago. Light is a symbol of God or Allah. The Hilal or Crescent Moon marks the start of the holy month of Ramadhan. Ramadan or Ramadhan is a month where Muslims fast from dawn to dusk and perform special acts of charity. Feeding the poor is one of these. In fact, one of the reasons why fasting is mandated is to make people think about those who do not have enough to eat, as well as purifying body and spirit. It is customary to invite the poorest families or individuals you encounter to your home during Ramadhan to share hospitality and thanksgiving with them. Mind you, like any old cultural tradition, these beautiful lanterns are beloved by all in places where they are seen, even non-Muslims. This is a lovely decoration indeed!

The Collection Set this time consists of two Trees and the final Reward Decoration in the form of the very lovely Fanoos Ramadan which is a lantern set in a crescent moon. The Trees required are the Nectarine and the Blackcurrant Bush. Their fruit is used in Recipes that are included as Tasks in the Quest sequence. The Nectarine is the Tree you need to complete the Collections Mission.
If you complete registration of the Collection Set while the quest is active, you will receive a Clam Friendship Flower as well as the 88 Green Mystrons and 1 RC that are the default rewards.
Premium Items Needed

A number of Premium Trees are involved in the Quest sequence as well as Collections Mission. You will need a Nectarine Tree both for the Collections Mission and for Nectarines to be used in a number of Recipes that are included as Tasks in the traditional Quest sequence. The Nectarine Tree and the Red Pear Tree both are included in new special sales, paired with 'Summer' decorations that probably will be included as Theme items in the next Farm Beauty Copntest. The Blackcurrant Bush is another Tree that produces ingredients needed for Recipes.

Darryl: Sinbad was stuck in a valley but he did not give into despair. He saw some diamonds, so he dug those out of the ground with business in mind. He then managed to escape from the valley carrying a sack filled with diamonds with the help of one of the giant birds.
