All details about these new Quests/Missions are given on the Page that is devoted to time-restricted Quests. You will find a link on a tab at the top of this page.
There are three new options in Seaside. One is represented by a little butterfly icon on the top right of the screen. This is a Butterfly Collection Challenge that requires the collection of four different colours of Butterfly, much like the Easter Egg Challenge. There are two Rewards for completion: a 'Blossom Beehive' that is basically no different from an ordinary Beehive, apart from the little floral ornament atop it, and an Angel Sheep, a Decoration rather than an Animal who produces any Product.
You must collect the following:
40 Pink Butterflies
Grow Pitaya
30 Purple Butterflies
Make Grape Juice in the Juice Maker
20 Yellow Butterflies
Make Steak Burgers or Cheese Burgers in the Burger Maker*
`0 Brown Butterflies
Collect from the Coffee Maker
*Possibly ANY type of Burger
Thanks to Mary Garon for confirming that the Cheese Burgers yield Butterflies as well. I have loaded my Burger Machine both for Steak and Cheese and obtained Butterflies from it for both I believe. It is possible that ALL Burgers yield Yellow Butterflies randomly.
The Iris Crop costs 30 Coins, matures in 2 hours and is available for only 6 more days.

This is the last quest in the Thumbelina sequence!
This time-limited sequence is set to run for 7 more days, 12 more hours.
Remember that, in every situation where an Item is collected from a Crop, Animal or Machine, the appearance of that Item ALWAYS WILL BE RANDOM!
A strategy Guide for any Farming Simulation Game on Facebook or a mobile platform is useful primarily in order to give Farmers advance notice of the Crops and Items needed for Quests and Missions. For the Butterfly and Thumbelina Missions, you will need enormous quantities of the following on a fairly ongoing basis as these items are used again and again in the course of the Missions:
Wheat Flour
Grapes
Corn (to produce Eggs)
Clover (to produce Milk)
Pasture (to produce Beef)
The following 'products' are needed in large quantities to stock various machines required for the Quests:
Eggs
Milk
Wheat Bread
Beef
Where the Butterfly Missions are concerned, Pitaya Fruit cannot be grown in advance but must be planted and harvested during the course of the Mission as it randomly produces Butterflies when harvested. Grape Juice is another machine that produces Butterflies and the Grapes can be grown in advance. As some of the Thumbelina Quests require Grapes, it is a good idea to grow them repeatedly.
The Burger Machine that produces another type of Butterfly, however, must be stocked again and again with the following ingredients:
Wheat Bread
Beef or Cheddar Cheese
Of the two Products that produce Butterflies randomly, it was only the Burger Machine that appeared to require days of constant use. The Coffee Maker spewed out the required 10 Butterflies almost instantly. For the latter, however, you need to have:
Coffee Beans
As with Grapes, these can be grown in advance as they are nothing more than an ingredient in the Product that randomly produces Butterflies.
There are other Crops that are needed in the course of Thumbelina's Missions, including:
Rice (to feed the Peacock to produce Peacock Feathers)
Love Fruit (to produce Love Cakes)
Chocolate (from the Chocolate Tree)
Rye (for Black Bread needed for one of Thumbelina's Quests)
The actual Quests are included below, so the Player can study them ahead of time in order to maximise the benefits from planting Crops.
