Note from Freyashawk:  I am doing this quest in memory of dear Eleni and all my other friends who have passed beyond the veil.  I pray God they are in a better place , beyond pain, loss and sorrow.

This game no longer sustains me as much as it once did.  There still are wonderful supportive farmers, but there is far too much nastiness now as well, with attempts to force neighbours to perform, to bend others to the will of a player, shaming by calling out farmers for not visiting daily and so on.  It makes me sad.  I remember the early days when our group consisted of people who gradually became friends but began as strangers and yet always offered goodwill and kindness to one another.

Re: Darryl's Adventures

Today I completed the final task available to me which was number 2200.  Please remember always that there is no time limit to these.  They do not expire.  I only did them when there was nothing else pressing in the game and I still reached the last one that is available at this moment.

Re: the current Trick or Treat Activity

Whatever your criticisms,  it is an Activity that lasts a generous number of days.  Four and a half days still remain!   If you are deteemined to complete it early, you are opting to use more resources.  Another positive aspect is the ability to use RC instead of performing the Treat tasks.  I always prefer Activities that do not make us feel like slaves to the game, so kudos to the developers for giving us a choice here.

Re: Pet Chests.  They do not load now on my farm.  After reloading the game multiple times, I had to pay RC to skip the task and move on.  I think it may be the fault of the ghosts roaming the paths.

Note from Freyashawk: Support created an open ticket for the issue of game crashes when a farmer attempts to vote in the Beauty Contest, asking farmers to give them their name and ID so they can see what the farms have in common and fix the issue.  Please do participate if you have experienced this.

Some farmers have reported this issue to me but declare that powering off the device completely, then turning it on again, then reloading the game makes a difference.  (If they keep reloading without powering off, the game continues to crash.)

So far, on Sunday, no one has contacted Support, although farmers have told me more than once that their games crash when they try to vote for my farm.  If no one reports the issue, it never will be fixed.  Not asking only for my sake, but the game ought to work for every one!

Penny's Magic Cauldron Riddle Solutions

Here are the solutions to all the Riddles.  When completed, the reward is the new Eerie Halloween Base that will feature in the next Farm Beauty Cintest for 9 theme points when farmers do not have maximum for theme.

I do not enjoy these riddles.  I pay to solve 18 of them so I can record them here for other players on the first day.

Tip:  Try to complete and place the new base on your farm at the very start of the Contest, boosting theme by 9 votes

My site is accessible to every one.  I never asked for money, like some players do, nor do I get any money from Google as I do not allow adverts.

What I do ask is that players who use this site vote for HM.Freyashawk in the Farm Beauty Contest.  I lost about a thousand votes in the last contest.  Players who once voted for me either did not vote or sent their votes elsewhere.   Obviously you are free to do as you please, but it is the rank in the top ten, if I make it, that assures me I am not wasting time, energy and money to update this site.  I have been doing this for a long time.  I was burned out really a long time ago, but I still always want to help farmers with the game.  It takes a lot of time to log and record quests and Activities.  Please consider my request.  

I once promised myself I would no longer publish updates if my farm did not rank in the top ten.  It would be an excuse frankly for quitting.  I broke that promise over and over.  Unlike some farms in the top ranks, I do not use hacks, cheats, or even delete neighbours who do not vote for me, or inactive neighbours  in case they return.  I am not ruthless.  I do not demand visits or buddy actions.  My own life is fraught with stress.  I would not wish to place any pressure on others.

If you do not vote in the contest, fair enough.  I do wonder though why a farmer will declare he or she will not enter because of a lack of theme points.  You do receive rewards simply for voting every day.  Further, old premium decorations count towards theme totals.  If a farmer only buys a few in the course of ten years, they will increase theme totals in these contests.

In any case, I would like to express my gratitude towards the farmers who have continued to vote for HM. Freyashawk through the years.
