Daily Order Tasks
The Daily Orders are found on an Order Board on your Farm. Access it daily to find three randomly generated Orders that can consist of Crops, Animal Products, Machine Products, Cooked Dishes from the Kitchen or Smoked Seafood.
At first, I believed that filling the Orders would be counterproductive as it reduced my Stock. As my own Levels increased, however, I discovered I could maintain sufficient Stock for Missions and other needs while still filling the Daily Orders. Every player must judge for himself/herself but my own opinon would be that, as long as you have not completed ALL the ordinary Quests/Missions that are available to every Farmer, it would be a mistake to fill too many Daily Orders. There is a point, however, when a Farmer has completed all the ordinary Quests/Missions. I define 'ordinary' as those Quests that have no time restrictions. When this occurs and there are no longer any Quests to be completed, it is time to begin to take the Daily Orders seriously.
I only have one Farm, unlike some players and therefore cannot know whether or not every player receives the same orders in the Daily Order Quest. Officially, it is stated that the Daily Orders are generated randomly. I have noticed, however, that the same tasks appear again and again and therefore felt that it might be useful to write them down for future reference and to aid other players in preparing the items required in advance.
Here are some of the Daily Orders I have received. They appear in groups of three. If you complete all three, you receive a bonus.
My own Level is 55. I believe this determines the Items that are required from me.

If you study the list, you will see that it is not the complete group of three that appears again and again, but the individual tasks. For example, you may find Almond Spread is required as a Recipe again and again and that Goose Feathers are another common task.
It is possible that the Orders you receive will be based on your Level of experience in the game. That would make sense, as it would be a little unfair to expect players to fill orders that consist of items they have not been able to unlock yet. Nonetheless, I hope this page will be useful.
Smoked Fish of various types are included often in the Daily Orders. As these take a fair amunt of time to produce, it is a good idea to keep some of each type in your Barn for possible future use. Many Seafood Dishes are required. The Ingredients usually include items produced in the Seafood House. Again, it is a good idea to produce as many items as possible in advance.
Tips about Growing Crops for Daily Orders:
You will see the same Crops again and again in the Daily Orders List, either as Crops to be sold in their raw form, as Ingredients in Recipes or as food for an Animal who creates a Product in the List. The following are commonly needed:
Red Bell Pepper: Red Bell Pepper takes 14 hours to mature. It often is found in the Daily Orders as a Crop that is needed in its raw form.
Pumpkin: Pumpkin takes 15 hours to mature. It is found in the Daily Orders in its raw form.
Peanut: Peanut takes 18 hours to mature. It is found in the Daily Orders in its raw form.
Bean: Bean takes 14 hours to mature. You need to feed this to a Deer to produce Venison Steaks
Rice takes 14 hours to mature. it is found as an Ingredient in many of the Recipes required for the Daily Orders. It is fed to a Turkey as well to produce Turkey meat.
Carrot: Carrot takes 8 Hours to mature. You need to feed this to a Horse to produce Horse Hair and to an Angora Rabbit to produce Angora Hair.
You will see a large number of Seafood items in the Daily Orders List, usually either as Smoked Fish of one sort of another or as an Ingredient in a Recipe. Smoked Fish requires a Smoke House. To produce many of the seafood ingredients that are not smoked, you will need a Seafood House. That is where Seaweed is transformed into Brined Seaweed, for example or where Crab Roe can be produced. Fishing is a random business at best. If you intend to fill all the Daily Orders, you should fish regularly in order to make certain you have all possible ingredients that may be required.
Once upon a time, the OP Sheep, a mechanical Sheep that delivered OP every day for a number of days, was the final Reward. Now the Reward List has been extended considerably. Rewards include Fertilisers, Watering Cans, Rain, Thunderstorms, Rainbow Rain, Power and Gasoline as well as surprise (wrapped Gifts) Rewards.
Matryoshka Dolls Maslenitsa Time-Restricted Quests
A new double Quest has appeared in Family Farm Seaside. The first element involves the collection of four different colours of Matryoshka Dolls as follows:
70 Red Matrioshka Dolls from Red Roses
50 Yellow Matrioshka Dolls from Orange Juice
30 Blue Matrioshka Dolls from Blueberry Jam
10 Pink Matrioshka Dolls from the Sakura Tree
The final Rewards are a Matrioshka Doll and a Sorbus Tree. The Matrioshka Doll is a decoration that will yield a Purple Gift Cleaning Bag when cleaned.
In tandem with the Collections Mission is a traditional Quest sequence as follows:

FINAL REWARD: Russian Butterfly House

N.B. Sadly, the end of the Quest story is counterproductive. However beautiful the Maslenitsa is, she must be burned or the effects of Winter (Death in ancient terms) will not end! You cannot simply make her into a Scarecrow... Mind you, I myself would be loathe to burn a beautiful straw figure. Furthermore, I think it is wonderful the the developers of Family Farm Seaside are introducing Players to all sorts of international customs, festivals and Recipes. It is one of the reasons I like this game so much.

Strategies for Completing these Quests
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
If you like to prepare in advance, you will notice that an enormous quantity of Blueberries will be required to complete both the Collection Mission and the Quest sequence. Blueberry Jam is featured in both. Fortunately, Blueberries are a short-term Crop, requiring only three hours to mature. Furthermore, they are one of the Items on the Free Gifts List, so if you wish to collect sufficient Blueberries for the Blueberry Jam, you may wish to request some Blueberries from your Neighbours as well as growing them.
It is best to focus on the Collections Mission first as you will need the Final Rewards in the form of the Sorbus Tree and the Matrioshka Doll in order to complete the traditional Quest sequence. Part V of Maslenitsa requires that you place the Sorbus Tree on your Farm. Part VI requires the placement of the darling Matrioshka Doll.
The amount of Power that you are given is 30, which means that it can be very helpful to make 'basic' Recipes well in advance. Whenever there are no ongoing Quests, I try to make Cake Flour, Batter and Soft Dough on a regular basis. You will need all three in the Maslenitsa Quest sequence. Milk is an ingredient in a number of Basic Recipes. It is another Item that can be requested as a Free Gift from Neighbours.
Other Items that can be prepared in advance include 50 Wheat Bread for use in making Veggie Burgers and 40 Cherry Jam.
Many Decorations, including the Matrioshka Doll that is one of the Rewards for completing the Matrioshka Collections Mission can be 'cleaned' each day by your Neighbours when they visit your Farm. You will receive Cleaning Gift Bags of different colours depending on the Decorations that you have placed on your Farm. These Gift Bags randomly contain Power as well as OP or Coins. The OP and Power can be quite useful when there is a time-restricted Quest like this one. You will notice that there are quite a few Cooked Dishes in the Quest sequence. Each Dish that you make in the Kitchen requires 1 Power to complete. As there is a maximum of 30 Power when you access your Kitchen and you may need more than that to complete a step in the Quest sequence, I save the Power found in my Cleaning Gift Bags for time-restricted Missions.
As you can see from the Quest sequence, there are new Recipes in the Kitchen as well:

The Tradition of Maslenitsa
****************************
I personally am delighted by the way in which Family Farm and Family Farm Seaside includes ancient traditions and festivals in the game. The tradition of Maslenitsa is a very ancient one and can be found throughout ancient Europe. The figure of Maslenitsa, made of straw, sometimes is male and sometimes female. In all cases, it represents the Spirit of Winter or Death and, after being taken through the village or from house to house, either is placed on a bonfire and set aflame or drowned in the river or any body of water.
In some cases, the ashes from the fire are buried in the fields to bring fertility to the land. The figure, as previously described, can be either male or female, old or young, depending upon the culture and locaiton of the festival. It often is celebrated before or during the Lenten season.
The specific festival of Maslenitsa in old Russia occurred before the start of Lent and included the preparation and consumption of special foods made from dairy products that could not be eaten during Lent. Pancakes or Crepes were made from Eggs, Butter and Milk. When Lady Maslenitsa is thrown on the bonfire, any Crepes or Blini that have not been eaten are thrown on the fire with her. Her more ancient name was Kostroma. As the symbol of Winter, her 'death' is a sacrifice to bring back the light and allow the land to regain its life. The festival has been incorporated into Christian custom, however, and is very much a part of the cycle of Lenten observance like Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday.
70 Red Matrioshka Dolls from Red Roses

30 Blue Matrioshka Dolls from Blueberry Jam

Winter tie is coming to an end. According to local traditions, we have to set out Maslenitsa on fire now, because it's a symbol of Winter. This will help Spring to come faster and warm us up again.
Harvest 50 Red Roses

Reward: 120 Coins, 23 XP
We didn't want to burn our pretty Maslenitsa, so we decided to leave her on the farm as a scarecrow, hehe.
FINAL REWARD: Russian Butterfly House
Produces Nectar when Butterflies pollinate specific Trees

Stranded Sailor Time-Restricted Quests
A new time-restricted Quest has appeared today in Family Farm Seaside. As usual, it actually involves two separate threads of activity. The first is the 'Collection Mission' wherein the Player must collect specific totals of Whistles in four different colours in order to redeem the final Reward. In this case, it is an Apricot Tree and a Lighthouse Decoration. The Apricot Tree is needed to complete Part IV of the Stranded Sailor Quest sequence. The Lighthouse is not needed and moreover cannot be cleaned. it is a curious Reward in a sense, as part of the background of any Player's farm in Seaside is a Lighthouse.
Above, a screenshot of the Egyptian Ship and Apricot Tree, two of the Rewards from these Quests. The Ship is a lovely Decoration as you can see.
One comment if ANY ONE from the development teams ever look at this site. I really do not comprehend why this Quest was not a St. Valentine's Day Quest. However beautiful the Egyptian Boat may be, what is the Lighthouse? It would have been so much more satisfying to have a Fountain that featured a Cupid or something of the sort... Roses and Hearts.
The Collection Mission is as follows:
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Whistle Collections
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Collect Whistles
50 Pink Whistles from Love Fruit
70 Yellow Whistles from Honey
30 Green Whistles from Champagne
10 Brown Whistles from Chocolate
The second 'thread' as it were is a traditional Quest sequence. Again, this follows the usual rule in that you will not be able to complete all the Quests if you have not completed the Collection Mission first. You will need the Apricot Tree specifically in order to complete the fourth Quest in the sequence.
Your strategy therefore should be to concentrate first on the Collection Mission. What this means in practical terms is growing many Love Fruits, Clover and Chardonnay as collection of any Whistle always is a random event. Use of Rain, Thunderstorms or Fertliser in order to speed the process of growth is helpful. Where the Chocolate Trees are concerned, you can use Watering Cans to speed growth as well.
The traditional Quest sequence is as follows:

Tips for Completing the Quest Sequence
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Recently, I have found that the most difficult aspects of these time-restricted Quests involve specific items caught when fishing and lack of Power for the Kitchen. It therefore makes sense to make as many of the 'Ingredients' for the required Kitchen Recipes as far in advance as possible. In the Stranded Sailor sequence, you are required to make 10 Chocolate Dream Bars, 10 Tilapia with Chutney Sauce, 20 Lemon Cocktails and 10 Stuffed Turkey in your Kitchen. Every Player begins with only 30 Power. ALL of these Recipes are the third Recipe in a three-recipe Sequence. It therefore makes sense to produce the first two Recipes in each Sequence in advance as they serve as the required Ingredients in the third and final Recipe in each Kitchen Sequence.
You therefore may wish to make the following in advance:
10 Rice Krispies
10 Blueberry Krispy Bars
10 Apricot Chutney
10 Baked Tilapia
20 Lemon Champagne
10 Arabic Kabsa
10 Roast Turkey
There is a further requirement where the Arabic Kabsa is concerned, as one of the two Ingredients required to make it is Soft Dough, another Kitchen Recipe. Make certain that you have 10 Soft Dough on hand when you reach this part of the Quest sequence.
Fishing is a random business and for this Quest, you do need 10 Tilapia. If you have not smoked all your Fish, so much the better as you need 10 raw and unprocessed Tilapia for the Recipe in the Stranded Sailor Sequence. Although Fishing is required as one part of the Quest sequence, there is no guarantee that you will catch Tilapia. You therefore may wish to do some extra fishing before you reach the stage where you need to use 10 Tilapia in the Kitchen!
Other advance preparation might include the creation of 60 loaves of Wheat Bread and 60 Cheddar Cheese for the Cheese Burgers. You can request both Wheat Flour (used to make Wheat Bread) and Cheddar Cheese as Free Gifts from your Neighbours.
Finally, you will need a total of 60 Turkey Meat, 50 of which will be used to make Turkey Sausage and 10 of which will be needed to make Roast Turkey, an ingredient in Stuffed Turkey. Your Turkey eats Rice. Rice is needed for the Arabic Kabsa as well, so grow plenty of it if you do not have it in stock.

Machine Production Tip
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
There are two different ways of alleviating the tedium of producing the Machine products needed to satisfy a Quest requirement. One is through automation. In the original Family Farm, automation can be used almost constantly, as it is inexpensive and one earns plenty of OP on a regular basis to use in the automation option.
In Seaside, however, automated production is an expensive business, primarily because there are few opportunities to earn it in any significant amount. Although one can obtain OP randomly in the Cleaning Gift Bags and Achievements sometimes deliver 30 OP, all of this is insufficient in terms of regular use of the option.
The other way to alleviate the tedium and speed the process is by having more than one Machine. With two Machines in operation at the same time, the production time is halved. That can make an enormous difference, especially in time-restricted Quests.
A Player who intends to use multiple machines really does need to have a Warehouse as space on the Farm always is limited, even with all land expansions.
