Your votes for HM. Freyashawk in the Farm Beauty Contest are the only validation for continuing to update this site.  I find the continuing increase in the number of premium items every month a little excessive, although I believe players should support games they play and like.  There is a vast difference, however, between paying the amount of one meal at a restaurant and paying out an amount that might cover a bill for one of life's essentials.   I stopped playing the original Family Farm when it became staggeringly large.  Seaside appears to be folloeing the model of the original.  The problem here is that the servers and game platforms for many players no longer support this game.  Players need to contact Support to beg them not to continue to expand this mobile game.  When you lose half of your neighbours, is it worth the cost for a new Activity?  The developers could opt to create a stand alone game instead for the Activities rather than attempting to force overloaded systems to accept these extras.

Note from Freyashawk: Per recent quests, I expected the new Gum Machine to be a requirement for the Collection Mission, but this is not the case.  The older Flower Petal Maker is the premium machine that is required here.

System update: The developers announced a fix for the Facebook log in issue.  Compensation for lost log in days was sent and the Beauty Contest extended to the end of the month. If HM. Freyashawk could end in the top 10 again after many months, it would mean a lot, but I realise voting can be time consuming.  It puzzles me, however, when high level farmers do not even register at all for the Contest when they could offer 6 votes daily to a neighbour.

Note to lower levels: Island items often are unlocked by Development Totals or Mastery Levels.  Highest total remains 7250.  Violets require a high level to unlock as does the Violet Essential Oil, requiring 3 Star Mastery of the Essential Oil Machine.

Note from Freyashawk:  As of 24 May, there still are countless loyal players of Seaside who cannot access their farms.  I reported the Facebook avatar issue to the developers, and was assured they were working in a fix.  It is rather outrageous that they have pushed players all these years to link their farms to Facebook, but now cannot manage to allow the avatars to load.  Many farmers recognise neighbours by their avatars, after all.   I thank all those who continue to vote for HM. Freyashawk in the Beauty Contest.  The game is unmanageable in its scope, but I have plans to add to the task list for Darryl's Adventure.  Your votes give me a sense of the usefulness of this site.  I ask only for HM. Freyashawk and only to try to reach the top ten in rank to make players aware of the site still.

Please remind yourselves that Darryl's Adventure has no time limit.  I perform tasks now only when I have no time restricted quests or Activities to complete.  Take your time. 

Farm Beauty Contests:

For high level players, there is no reason why they should not be able to reach a total of 6000 votes without neighbour votes if they are willing to plan from the start, and spend RC earned in the game even if unwilling to spend real cash.  The increased theme total actually aids players.  Vote requirenents were not increased!  I will write a little guide for the next contest.

Friendship Flowers: you can register your own now.  If you have more than one farm, it can be useful to keep mature flowers in your garden for the sake of earning points to increase the garden level.

Neighbour visits: the insistence on reciprocity is counterproductive.  Yiur visit to a neiggbour, especially one who has invested in premium decorations gives YOU valuable rewards.  I do not delete inactive neighbours with valuable decorations.  I earn the best gift boxes sometimes from them.

Players tend to make demands without thinking logically.  High level Buddies, even when inactive, can be useful.  You need a few active Buddies, but not 15 necessarily.

I am grateful to all the neighbours I have, whether they visit or not, because they are fellow human beings who so often in dark hours offer moral support and prayers to us.  Please spare a moment to think of all those who come to the game with heartbreak, illness, loss and any other issues that make the road a difficult one.
