I have published many posts about the Farm Beauty Contests over the years. This one will be a post that can be used for every Farm Beauty Contest.

Since I lost access to my Mac, I only can use the mobile app. It does make posting much more primitive and more difficult. I hope I can improve my situation. My entire life was grossly damaged by the actions of hackers, and the damage was significant. I still am finding new evidence of every aspect of my life that has been corrupted by interference. I have come to the conclusion that people like that see it as a sort of high stakes game. They are devoid of empathy for others. They probably perceive empathy and compassion as a weakness in fact. In any case, I will continue to try to update this site as I am able.
First of all, if you have reached the level that unlocks the Farm Beauty Contest, you ought to register. You will receive rewards from the Farm Beauty Contest Menu, not only for reaching specific totals, but for voting each day. Even if you cannot achieve 6000 votes, you will benefit from participation.
The daily totals are simply for convenient reference. If you know that the new base is worth 9 votes, you can receive fewer than 182 votes in the early days knowing that your vote total will be boosted by 9 daily once the new base is placed, provided you take a screenshot with it in place.
The key to the Contest is to organise your Farm with a variety of Crops, a variety of Trees, a variety of Animals and a variety of Machines. Make certain that you have a decent total of Landscape Points by placing paths on your Farm, and if possible, place your bases near them.
Note that Beehives and Butterfly Houses count as Animals. Duplicates never counted, but different types of Beehives or Butterfly Houses count.
There are theme decorations listed for each Contest, and these can be found by tapping on the Red Book in the Farm Beauty Contest Menu. There usually is a new Base released for each Contest. Completing that base and placing it on your Farm will add a total of 9 votes daily for theme. If a player is low in theme points, using RC to complete a new base may be a good strategy.
There always are new premium theme decorations as well, and they are linked to the new base. New premium decorations tend to be worth more in terms of votes for theme than old ones. The most expensive one, for example, usually boosts your theme total by 9 votes daily.
The most important reward is attained with a total of 4000 votes. Even low level players should be able to obtain this without neighbour votes if they complete quests and are willing to spend some RC. Theme decorations always can be found on the Lucky Wheel (and Neighbour share boxes), and generally cost 10 to 12 RC. The same decorations will be included again and again in the Contests.
If you can obtain 182 votes per day from your characters, you will obtain the Decoration. 273 votes per day will allow you to reach the total of 6000 votes that gives the ultimate rewards. In truth, the Decoration us more valuable than 2 RC and a new avatar.
Your Farm is assessed by the snapshot you submit. Make certain you have a good variety of Crops, Trees, Animals, Machines, as many theme decorations as possible and paths near your bases as well as four pets with two pieces of apparel and 1 equipment ON THE FARM, before you submit the photograph. Once submitted, it will be valid until you replace it. Do not worry if the game updates and you no longer see your screenshot. Do not scramble to replace it. It remains valid.
If, however, you do not complete the new Base at the start of the Contest, make certain to place it and take a new screenshot when you do. It will boost your total by 9 votes daily.
The totals needed for each category may have changed. If anything reduced. If you have 16 different Crops, 16 different Trees, 12 different Animals, and 12 different Machines on your Farm, you should have maximum votes for those categories. I need to confirm if even that many are needed still.
At 2100 Landscape Points, you should receive maximum votes. You do not need many farm Expansions to receive maximum votes.
A farmer who does not have the 30 x 30 expansion confirmed that she receives maximum votes for 'Big Farm' meaning Expansions. She actually has 2250 Landscape Points and receives maximum for 'beautiful paths with high landscape points' but I seem to recall the required total was even lower.
Do take advantage of the Buddy gifts in the form of Stone and Flower Paths (20 Landscape Points) and the Forest Paths (25 Landscape Paths) that are coin purchases. A Buddy can send Macaron Paths as well but each will cost 1 RC.
You can purchase a Wooden Path worth 35 Landscape Points for 50000 Coins. Pond Water is a path and costs 1500 Coins but has a value only of 25 Landscape Points. Look for my old post on the operation of Paths to see how the Landscape Point values of bases and decorations are boosted by them.
High level farmers at Level 151 can obtain pet apparel for their Pets from the Experience Bank. Buy the Superstar Hat that can be worn by any Pet. The Superstar Sack only can be worn by a Poodle! One can purchase an Exclusive Pet Hat that any pet can wear from the Exclusive Shop as well. There are purchases from the Pet House menu that basically are for a limited time, allowing you to outfit a pet for the Contest.
You can buy a Top Hat or Bowler Hat for 7 days using 150 TC for example. These can be worn by any Pet. As Grandma gives a total of 12 votes for four Pets that are fully dressed and equipped, this is a category that cannot be ignored. Remw.ber that if they are resting in the Pet House, they earn no votes.
Recently, the number of Theme items was increased to 36. As the vote totals remain the same, this increase only helps farmers achieve the vote totals needed for the rewards.
Some players are determined never to spend any money in any game. Although games are advertised as 'free', some one has to invest or the game will fail ultimately. It is not a bad idea to buy he premium decorations that appeal to you the most. For a start, they tend to give the best rewards when cleaned. Secondly, these theme decorations will appear again and again in the Farm Beauty Contests, and tend to be worth more in theme votes than ordinary decorations.
When you access the Farm Beauty Contest Menu, tap first on the Red Book, then tap on each theme item and use the magnifying glass search option to see if you own it or not and precisely where it is located. Items in storage will not be counted.
