N.B. The third material needed for the special Eggs created in a Factory Merge now are being found in the special Cooking Bags you receive when you eat at a Neighbour's Cooking Stand. They are the Easter Crown Deco and the Easter Bunny Deco. You will need 15 of one of these to merge an Egg.

The Easter Egg Factory activity is tied to the first 8 Parts of the traditional 'Love Story' Quest sequence. You will receive a pattern as a reward when you complete each part. I have noted the patterns I received on Harvest Moon FDC but it is possible that the actual pattern you receive in each case is random. After you complete the first eight parts of the traditional Quest sequence, you will receive a special Reward in the form of the Bee Wings Pet House Ears. 'They make a set with the little bee antennae we received previously. No matching Base yet.
Please note that there are no item requests from Neighbours and there are only a few Island Tasks, one of which requires the Yogurt Machine. The Yogurt Machine is a three-ingredient Machine on the Island and the two ingredients that never change are Honey and Goat Milk, both of which must be transported from your Seaside Farm. Make certain that you have at least 20 Honey and 20 Goat Milk if you wish to make 20 Cranberry Yogurt for one of the last tasks in the traditional quest sequence. The final Reward is a Heart-Shaped Tree Decoration.
The Reward for the Collections Mission is a Parsley Pot, a Collectable.

You will need a Gooseberry Bush for the Collections Mission, a Sakura Tree, a White Chocolate Tree. As far as Fish are concerned, you will need 6 Butterfish for the Lemon Fish task. Thanks to the new option to trade fish at the pier, you will be able to trade for these if you do not have them or catch them immediately.
You will need a Goat to produce Goat Milk. This is the second timed Quest recently that has required a Goat, so it may be a good idea to buy one if you do not have one. You can find them for sale randomly in the Green Mystrons shop but otherwise the price for a White Goat is 15 RC. Note as well that the White Goat is included as one of the items in the Collection Set. If you want to receive a Clam Friendship Flower, you need a White Goat as well as the Parsley Pot and Heart Shaped Tree Decoration.

You should have been given 3 Plain Eggs by Felicia last week. You then should have been able to obtain random Paint to colour these Eggs. The colours you could make were Purple, Green and Orange. I made one of each. Now, in the first half of the traditional Quest, you should receive Wave Patterns and Dot Patterns. I received a total of 4 of each of these. Usually, in Factory Merge activities, you cannot do anything until you have all the Materials. The Eggs are different. Once you have the Patterns, you can go to the Factory to merge the coloured Eggs with the Patterns. I chose to make two Wave Patterned Eggs and 1 Dot Patterned Egg. Just my personal preference. At this point, the Eggs you make cannot be placed. They remain Materials for a future Decoration and are not themselves completed Decorations.
