The traditional Quest gives special Rewards in the form of Festival Mystrons Bags throughout the sequence. The bags in the first half are slightly different from those given in the second half. In the first half of the sequence, each contains 20 Festival Mystrons, 200 Coins and 5 OP. In the second half of the sequence, each contains 25 Festival Mystrons, 300 Coins and 5 OP.

Since I first began to play this game, the nature of gameplay has changed radically and many of those changes are very recent. For example, there is the new Research Laboratory that offers, among other things, the Gold Finger Active Tech. Depending on your Level with Gold Finger, you can collect three items at a time from various Animals and Machines without using any OP. What you do need, however, is Farmium and that is obtained by opening the three Treasure Chests that are given in the Daily Quest Path.
A very welcome new option is the Daily Special Deal that offers 100 OP and 5 Power for 5000 Coins each. For 1 RC each, you can obtain another 100 OP and/or another 5 Power.
As the Reward for the Collections Mission is a Collectable, you will not be able to opt out of the Mission by purchasing the item in the Market. Collectable Rewards never are offered in the Market while a time-restricted Mission is 'live'. You therefore have to complete the Collections Mission if you want the Bean Sprout Pot on your Farm. In this particular case, you will need it fairly early in the course of the traditional 'Journey of Dreams' Quest. You need to place it as a task for 'Journey of Dreams 6'.
Unfortunately for new or lower level players, you will require a variety of premium items in order to be able to complete both the Collections Mission and the traditional Quest sequence. The Tree required for the Collections Mission is the Birch Tree, found in the Market for 7 RC. A Premium Tree required to complete the traditional 'Journey of Dreams' sequence is the Quince Tree, which can be purchased for 7 RC as well.
Other methods of obtaining premium Trees for a lower price are to find them in the Green Mystrons Shop randomly or in a Buddy's Share Box. You have to be at least at Level 2 with a Buddy to access his/her Share Box.
Essentially, by the time a Quest like this is released, it usually is too late to hang about waiting to find a much-needed premium Tree in the Green Mystrons Shop or a Share Box or on your own Lucky Wheel. The discount for purchasing such a Tree from the Wheel or Share Box is only 1 RC in any case. I would advise farmers to keep a watch on the Green Mystrons Shop for premium Trees they do not have, and never to purchase Coin items from that shop. In the meantime, if you do not have these trees and wish to complete the Mission, it is best to 'bite the bullet' and purchase them. Ultimately, you will need ALL Trees for Seaside gameplay. The developers often will include a task that requires a Tree for which few Recipes exist simply to encourage the purchase of THAT Tree.
Sometimes, the premium Tree needed for the traditional Quest sequence is not required in the first half of the sequence, but that is not the case here. Whether or not you have access to the Island needed for the second half or at the level required to unlock the second half, if you wish to finish the first half of the sequence to obtain the Seaside Decoration, you need the Quince Tree.
Another premium item needed only for the second part of the Quest sequence is the Rhubarb Shrub, found in the Collectables section of the Market for 5 RC. If you intend to buy it, do so at once as you cannot speed the collection of items from 'Collectables' the way you can with Trees.
Premium Machine

If you have access to the Island and are at a high enough level to move forward into the second half of the quest, you will find that the last task requires a premium machine in the form of the Popcorn Machine. It costs 10 RC but can be found randomly in the Green Mystron Shop as well.
Temporary Collectables

These can be a nuisance even for a veteran player as they have an existence on your farm of only 3 days. You therefore have to remember to purchase them again periodically when your stocks are low. You will need Soy Sauce for one of the Dishes in this Mission. Purchase some Soy Sauce Barrels as soon as possible if you are a new player or lack sufficient stock. You can purchase a total of 4 Soy Sauce Barrels but they will expire on the 3rd day.
Neighbour Requests

Be aware that there are TWO separate Neighbour Requests for 20 items each in the first half of the Quest sequence. I tend to be impatient and ask too many of my Neighbours for the items I need because I need to push on for the sake of the guide. If you do not have 310 active Neighbours, it may be best to ask fewer Neighbours in each case and wait for the response if necessary. There are no further Neighbour Requests, however, in the second half of the Quest sequence.

In other words, there are separate Level requirements to unlock Part 5, Part 9 and Part 13 of the Quest. Usually, you have to be at Level 26 now to progress beyond Part 8 (the end of the first half).
