Uncle Carlos Night of Meteors

This is a new Uncle Carlos Quest.  They are found on the same island using the same Menu as any Treasure Island.  As you can see below, there are two different paths.  The lower is time restricted and must be completed in five days.  The upper one has no time restriction.  The rewards are the lower path are ordinary farm aids.  It is the Toolbox Rewards from the upper path that matter.

Here are the various uses for the Toolboxes you earn:

First of all, if you are interested at all in the Farm Beauty Contest, it is important to do whatever quests are linked to the ability to increasw the number of active pets on yiur farm!  Until the new update, the maximum possible was six.  Now if you use four toolboxes to exoand your Pet House, you then can raise Pet House Level and accordingly unlock a seventh Pet Slot to increase the number of active Pets.

The Candied Strawberry is from the Candied Skewer Machine obtained in the last Treasure Island I believe.  Bedding Rolls can be earned by completing Lighthouse Quests, buying Bedding Roll Packages (that contain 3-5 Bedding Rolls each) for 3 RC ir purchased outright for 1 RC for each.  The Ievel requirement is your basic Farm Level.  Coral Dressing Tables are made on the Island.

Now you obtain the fifth full heart and are given the Cosmologist title.

Final rewards are 3 Toolboxes and 500 Energy.

You reall y only need to unlock the first Magic Fog area for the items there.  The others only offer Gift boxes.

I have seven toolboxes after using the ones needed to upgrade my Pet House.

I use 3 to increase the capaciry of each roon in the Tree Nursery to 9.

I can use 2 more to increase the capacity of my Warehouse by 10%.  It is at Level 19 now with a capacity of 253.  I need 50 Paint and 1 Saw to upgrade it to Level 20.

I could use 3 more toolboxes to increase it by 20% instead of using 3 to increase the Tree Nursery space in each room from 7 to 9.  In my case, I think the Warehouse is more important, so I do that anow have a total of 276 slots in the Warehouse.

I could opt to pay 15 RC for a Tree Irrigator to unlock a new room: Room 31 but I really do not need it.

Note from Freyashawk:  Heartfelt thanks to every one who voted for my farm or tried to vote especially at the end.  With the new rules in the Beauty Contest that limit neighbour votes to a total of 100, it can be frustrating when a neighbour tries to vote and is told I have reached my limit.  If I did not get 100 votes daily, however, there would be no chance of achieving rank.   It is only if I have those neighbour votes every single day that my farm is tied with others at the top and that is when Landscape Points determine daily rank and then final rank.  I think there are technical issues still but I managed with your kind help, to end at Number 10.  I thank every one who kept trying to vote for me, whether or not they were able to do so on any given day.

For me, the Beauty Contest is an effective way to show farmers that I still play and that I still update my site.  And the votes show me the work I do still is useful.

February 2026 Card Collection, Photo Studio Rewards and Golden Wedding Anniversary

I suppose I really should start with the Activity that links all of these. This is Grandpa and Grandma's Golden Anniversary.   The menu offers five portraits and each is completed with a Valentine Gem.

The first can be earned or purchased in the Cloud Farm Valentine Activity. Tap Buy Cake.  If you cannot trace the picture of the cake, do not fret. That picture is complete.

The second is part of the first reward in the new Card Collection.   Tap Buy the Food.  Again, if you have the Gem, that picture will be complete.

The third is Buy the Flowers.  The this gem is the Level 5 Reward on the Free Path of the Photo Studio.  Again, if you cannot trace the picture, it still will be complete.

Thd two remaining pictures cannot be activated or completed yet.

Year of the Horse Quest and Money Bag Collection Mission

Here is the annual Lunar New Year Quest that many of us await with expectation.  There are three special New Year items as rewards for this one.  One is a Collectible that gives Colourful Tangyuan to use in special festive dishes.  The second is a festive Chinese New Year Snack Table for Darryl's House.  The final reward is a Gold Bearing Pony Decoration.

This February will mark the start of the Year of the Fire Horse.  It promises to be a dramatic year of change.  One prays it will bring change for the better.

Note from Freyashawk:  I was absolutely stunned to discover my farm had reached Number 1 in the Farm Beauty Contest.  It moved me to tears.  In the real world nowadays, I lead a rather isolated life, hampered by physical disabilities that really have not improved much despite my best efforts.  I therefore am extremely grateful for the friendship and support of those farmers in Seaside who took the time to vote for me and not only that, reach out often when I am ill or anticipating yet another surgical procedure.  It is those votes that got me to the top frankly.  I always do everything possible to make certain my farm has maximum votes from the four members of Darryl's family.  This means I will make the requirements myself whenever I can for the ordinary rewards.  With the new limits on votes, however, rank now is determined by neighbour votes and the new rules mean that I had to receive 100 votes daily from my neighbours.  In the past, a day with fewer votes could be made up with more votes on another day.  This no longer is the case.

What is truly amazing is that the contest began on a day when I was caught unexpectedly by the new rule determining rank by landscape points when there are ties in votes.  I had no idea they were implementing that and had no time that day to alter my farm radically to achieve the new maximum of 60,000 Landscape Points.  That I reached Number 1 with my existing LP total stunned me but it is your victory, my dear friends as much as mine.  I have participated in every Farm Besuty Contest since the beginning.  Many many times, the top ranks were not honestly achieved.  Whatever the future holds, I am immensely grateful for this achievement after so many years.  Heartfelt, truly heartfelt gratitude.

Winter Amusement Park Quest and Snowman Souvenir Bag Mission

Note from Freyashawk:  I know every one struggles with issues, and many far more significant than a virtual contest, but this game had a system error of some kind between reset on the 12th lasting  until a couple of hours before reset on the 13th.  From reset on the 12th, no one was able to vote for my farm.  The system told farmers I had reached the daily limit.  Farners who vote for me daily sent me messages that they were unable to vote for me even when reset was only six minutes earlier.  My own screen showed maximum votes as well.  Late in the afternoon, the syatem fixed whatever had gone wrong and I saw in fact I had zero votes and my rank had dropped by 36.

I contacted Support.  I managed to receive only 49 votes after the system fixed itself from players who went into the game late and had not voted at all.  The neighbours who usually voted had been unable to do so.  As it was a system error,  I requested the votes I had lost.  I do not know what the end result will be.

In any event, I am very grateful to the neighbours who reached out to me and who sent their messages to Support as well.

I want to thank again every one who always is kind and caring through difficult times.

Again, I am not the only one who has been fighting ongoing battles with potentially fatal diseases like cancer.  I am horrified by some of the situations my neighbours have survived, and amazed by their courage and empathy towards others.

Grief and the loss of loved ones also play an increasing role in our lives, especially as we grow older.  

I also would like to ask farmers to understand how very stressful an increasingly enormous online game can be.  Do not take it personally when other farmers cannot do whatever it is you wish or demand.  An assumption of reciprocity is unfair in these circumstances.  Every one comes to a game like this with different capabilities and different priorities.  I know I am not the best neighbour or buddy if what you want most are daily visits.  Be aware always though that you obtain rewards yourself by visiting another farm.  My farm has a large quantity of the decorations that give the most valuable gift boxes so you can take one of those if you or your pet visit.  Many farms only have decorations that give purple gift boxes.  To each and from each whatever is possible is my motto.

Updating this site is my contribution.  It takes time and energy.  It provides permanent information, unlike Global Chat.  If you cannot perform this Quest now, for example, you still can access this post when the Quest goes to the Lighthouse.  Most of us are limited by our actual lives as to how much we can do in our virtual lives.  Please be kind and do not assume people are uncaring if they cannot meet your own requirements.

The Winter Queen Treasure Island

As of 12 January, all three Mary Surprise Cow locations included with screenshots.  I also imcluded the lisrs of all materials needed at the end to build the Float.

The primary motivation for completion of any Treasure Island is the premium Machine or Animal offered by the Trader for those who did not obtain it in the past and the NEW Machine or Animal given with 1100 Stars.  

In this instance, the Trader offers the Parfait Machine.  If you have it, you can claim 1000 Energy instead.

The new Machine is a Candied Skewer Machine at 1100 Stars.  The translation is poor here as obviously the Machime itself is not Candied but the products are.  In any event, the products tend to be demanded nowadays, so you may consider doing the Treasure Island Activities.

First Mary Surprise Cow

Task in this room is Thaw Sewing Table seen in the centre.

The first pink chest containing a Sailboat is at the very bottom right of the last area you unlock on the first map, outside the hedge' south of the Portal you need to fix before you can use it.

The second Map has the Seconf Factory in the form of the Memory Lamp that creates Warm Memories:

2nd Mary Surprise Cow is located on the area below the Dream Carriage, in the bottom left corner of the same area as the Dreamy Tree.

On the 2nd Map, the 3rd Mary Surprise Cow is in the same chamber as the Cannon you have to thaw.  It is in the lower left corner.  Directly below it is the chamber with the Winter Crystal.

The last toy, the 2nd Sailboat, is in a pink chest in the same chamber as the Heart of Winter in the lower right.

I continue to update this site now mainly for my dear neighbours and friends and all those who find a little guide helpful.   In this past momth alone, so mamy have borne the loss of loved ones, disease, illness and other serious issues. 

The New Year should be a time of joy so let us all take a moment to bring the best we have to offer, whether in a prayer or heartfelt wish, to the 'table' of life.  May 2026 be a better year than 2025.  May our hopes not be illusions, and may there be Peace that serves justice and brings real change for the better to those who have suffered through unimaginable horrors, loss,  grief and pain.

I continue to update this site in the hope that it does help a few people enjoy Seaside a little more.  The game is becoming far too large.  I am ill again.   I could not even complete the recent Activity.  My game crashes almost every time I try to go to my Cloud Farm.  There is a lot of useful information on this site, but I know there are new Cloud techs and I have not been in a position to publish a post about those yet.

I want to thank all those who sent me their good wishes in the game.  It reminded me once more how much people need personal connections and sometimes a little lifeline.  May we stand together at least in friendship.  A kind word is worth a great deal and for all those who feel alone or abandoned for whatever reason, it can make all the difference in the world sometimes.
