Cloud Farm Update

Just notes for the moment.

30 June:  Please be advised that ALL items used for Cooking are Cloud Farm products.  I did not give the full namrs yet for all of these in recipes but if Pineapple is given as an ingredient, it  What is holding me back now is the enormous quantity of 'Meat' demanded for upgrades of all kinds.  Also, there are two new forms of Cloud Garden currency: Coins and Tokens.  If I made an error and listed tokens instead of coins, I will try to correct it.  Meanwhile, if the amount  needed is significant, it will be Coins.  If it is below 10, it may be Tokens.

Does no one else find it slightly disturbing that we are given generic 'Meat' by a dog to craft into food for our tables?  Just an errant thought.

As of 29 June, I still am navigating and exploring.  Please forgive any inaccuracies.  They will be corrected. The update is huge.

Complete now through third Cloud Garden Expansion and numerous Lab techs.   All recipes included in this post.

For farmers on Seaside, there are new gifts to send to neighbours as free gifts, including Butter, Rye Flour, Oat Flour, Sugar, Egg.

There are new Buddy Gifts as well that mainly are materials needed for Upgrades of Upgraders.

Yesterday, Maritime Coins could be sent only to a Buddy who had completed the actual Trade Voyage Quest evidently.  A buddy of mine runs her voyage boats daily but had not completed the actual Trade Voyage Quest.  When she used RC at my request to complete the task to 'light up one room', I was able to send Maritime Coins to her.

Today, however, all that was required to send to send Maritime Coin to a buddy was that the boat had been built.

I want to thank my friend Kaye for her assistance with some of the recipes and comparing notes on a couple of other aspects of the update.

The three major upgrades to the Cloud Farm are Cooking, the Forge, and the Cloud Garden.

When unlocked, you must expand the Cloud Garden repeatedly to be able to use it.

You cannot place plots to grow anything in the Cloud Garden.  You can move items like trees and rocks and wild plants to the Cloud Garden.  Items will spawn randomly as well there.

So my strategy was to use a Movement Shovel to move items to the Cloud Garden to clear the farmland and then place the remainder of the 170 plots I was allowed at Level 17.

Meanwhile, you need to craft Baskets to collect the Cloud Flowers that grow on the cloud fence surrounding the Garden.  The will respawn by themselves but you can use the Cloud Fertilisers you make with Mortar & Pestle to mature them as well.

The Deletion tool can be used to eliminate junk that is on your land as well like items that were created for a time limited activity that has expired.  To clear these uses Energy, but they noe can be deleted instead.  They tend to be quite pretty, with holiday themes for each, so you can keep them for aesthetic purposes I suppose.

The real purpose of the Cloud Garden is contained in the sign that gives three quests with a multitude of tasks.  They are all time restricted.  To be qble to claim all the rewards in the chests, you must complete the Research techs for the Cloud Farm that hqve been added to the Cloud Lab.

My farm leveled up automatically to Level 17.  I was invited to take possession of the Cloud Dragon and build a bond.  There are two raw ingredients and two cooked dishes.  The cooked dishes are worth more.  

Note that a buddy of mine was offered the Dragon at Level 9.  I will try to ask for more information from her.  I completed many new quests without seeing or logging them.

It wants:

Flame Fruit: 13 hearts (10 OP randomly for any harvest)

Starry Night Mushroom: 24 hearts (1 RC randomly for any harvest)

Cake of Ice and Fure: 55 Heartd

Starry Night Mixed Juice: 70 Hearts

Needs 2500 Hearts

Then you must 'build' the Fire Dragon with:

The Fire Dragon eats Celestial Wheat to produce Fire Essence

You have 2 slots as with any Animal.  Buy more with RC if needed.

Celestial Wheat Crop is unlocked at Level 8.  The Cloud Forge, Cloud Cooking Hut and Cloud Dining Table likewise available.  The Cloud Mortar & Pestle unlocked at Level 10.

At Level 17, 170 plots.  Where on earth would I place them???

Here is my dilemma.  To unlock the Garden to write a guide for it, I need 60 Puppy's Gifts and 200 Fire Essence.  Otherwise pay an enormous amount of RC... I either stop cooking efforts that require Meat for the moment or reaign muself to the payment.  As things stand, I will try to collect 200 Fire Essence and see where I stand with the Puppy's Gifts that are ruled by timers.

I spent the RC to skip some of the Puppy's Gift requirement and moved forward.

There is a hole where you can find the Puppy's Woven Tent.  You make them in your Forge and then place them on the ground to collect Puppy's Gifts.  There is a 7 minute timer when placed.  When it expires, the Puppy left you a gift.   It is Meat.   It seems each of these works repeatedly on a timer that resets.  You cannot place any more than three of these Puppy's Woven Tents.

With the Fire Essence, you can make:

Family Barbecue Quest and Barbecue Tongs Collection Mission

A good guide writer performs activities and quests more than once.  This is how accuracy is tested and confirmed.  A second farm is not 'cheating' and I find it rather insulting if players declare it to be such.  In fact, it is a very good strategy.  With a second farm, you can grow more crops, and provide needed items to your primary farm.  With a second farm, you can become more self-sufficient.  I never asked for votes for any farm other than HM. Many quests in Seaside are not time restricted.  These 11 day quests will be added to the Lighthouse after this time period expires.  It therefore is useful to have them documented on my site.  I believe I documented all the quests through the years.  Those that now have Pet Bedding instead of the original rewards may have changed slightly from the original.

The actual quest will be added, but the Collection Mission will mo longer be available.  You will be required to use RC to buy the Reward for that after the 11 day period.  That is why I advise players to complete the Collection Mission.

The Cloud Farm offers daily and weekly activities in the form of the Zeppelin and the Adventurer's Fortune.  Although these are time-restricted, they do offer new ones after the existing one expires!  There is no reason to panic if you lack an item for one of these and cannot produce it yourself.  

Neighbour requests for items they do not have are becoming more frequent and demanding.  If you really want to perform these quests, you need to try to obtain the machine or animal that produces them.  The game is trying to make all  rare items necessary now.  Years ago, we never really needed them.  Now one does.  Look at the rewards offered for a Treasure Island or Photo Studio Activity before you decide to ignore it.  The Treasure Island may offer, through the Trader, a machine or animal you missed earning in an earlier Treasure Island.  I always document these activities and their rewards.  The Puff Pastry Machine, as an example, has been available as a reward twice now.

Another source of rare item requests comes from the dragon.  You do not need to give the dragon every single item it demands.  Ignore the requests you cannot satisfy.  

The problem with too many neighbour requests is that it creates stress.  I have known so many players who either turn off chat completely or quit the game because of this sort of thing.  Choose your requests carefully.

There also is a difference between items from rare machines and animals and items that require Mastery.  You can make every item from the Island and Resort machines and animals if you attain Mastery.  Do it!  

Mastery is achieved by making a set number of items.  You can do it over time or by using batch production.  Back in the day, when there was no batch production, we had to make the items one by one.  Now ypu can set the Machine or Animal to produce the number you need for the next level of Mastery.

I know the game is huge now and many players do not understand how to navigate all of these things.  That is why I am mentioning Mastery here.  Many of the items required for farm expansions can be made by ANY farmer once Mastery is achieved.

Walkthrough complete:

The primary reward requires the VIP Pass and is an Animal: an Emperor Penguin.

The Emperor Penguin is a VIP Reward at Level 20, eats Yellow Croaker and produces an Icy Royal Feather.

This is a Merge Activity.  The object is to fill the Ordera that appear to the left of the Map, earning points that increase your Level.  The actual Rewards are found by tapping on the blue Star above the Orders.  The most significant Rewards are given only if you invest in the VIP Pass.  To me, it is worth it to do so now.  The premium Machine or Animal earned both from the Photo Studios and the Treasure Islands will produce items required for special requests in Seaside.

At a higher level, usually Level 15, a Double Point Bonus can be activated that lasts 15 minutes.  Do be aware it only will be activated if your Energy is low, usually at 75 Energy.

If you want to activate this event, try to prepare by waiting until high value Orders are on display.  Make as many items shown in the Orders as possible without filling them, and then bring down your Energy total to activate the 15 minute bonus.  Now fill all the Orders.   The bonus can be activated repeatedly, provided the requirements are met.

Do not confuse this with the Maximum Power Boost unlocked at Level 15.  Tap the switch to use 4 Stamina instead of 1 or 2.  A higher level of item then will be geberated as long as the Boost is activated.

Warning:  It is at a higher Level, often Level 16, that you begin to receive Orders for a Luxury Barbecue Grill.  This is the temporary generator created as the maximum level item by the Camping Cart and its upgrades.  If you fill this order without trying to generate as many items as possible first, you have wasted the generator to some extent.  I always deactivate the boost temporarily, then tap on the Luxury Barbecue Grill until only one more item can be generated from it, and then place it on the top tier of the map.  That way, it will be chosen to fill any order for a Luxury Barbecue Grill.

Walkthrough:

You begin the game with a generator, Small Toy Box that creates Board Games.

At the next level, unlocked when you reach Level 2, the Small Toy Chest, it generates Video Games as well.

There are two Orders at the start but above them is a Golden Key for a mini game.  When you obtain the third Golden Key, a separate screen for the mini game unlocks.

At Level 4, I received the third Golden Key to unlock Dad's Letter.  This is a mini game that gives small rewards in the form of farm aids.

At Level 4, you unlock a generator for this mini game in the form of Digital Camera. It is only useful to create items for the mini game to dress Dad.

At Level 4, a recipe for the mini game: Family Photo Album + Film Roll = Dress Up Gift Bag

This only is useful to dress Dad.

By completing Orders, you get the Film Roll that is the second item for the recipe.  The film roll will appear above the Orders.

Warning: tapping on the camera fills the map with Family Photo Albums!

I personally do not like this mini game.

As with other recipes, drag the Family Photo Album you obtained by tapping on the Digital Camera to the recipe table.  Tap on the Film Roll to move it to a place on the map, then drag that to the recipe table.  A Dress Up Gift Bag will be generated.  Tap on that to send it to the mini game.

By the way, it looks like this Dress Up Dad mini game will be expanding and ongoing.  There is a 'Letter From a Neighbour' Menu as well.  Oh joy!  More pressure to deliver to our neighbours and buddies as if the daily gifts and visits, the visit to the Voyage Boat and requests for items in global chat are insufficient.  As much as I would like to make people happy, what I can do is write a walkthrough.  I find all these incessant game demands stressful and know for a fact that they have resulted in the departure of many good veteran players.  Please do not expect your neighbours to do whatever you do in a game!  Every one is different and games ought to bring relief from stress, not pile more burdens on your friends.

It appears you can send a Letter From a Neighbour once you have completed the reward line of 30 points total.  The Neighbour will receive 10 Energy from your Letter.  Any farmer has a limit of 5 to send.

You should be given the option to send 5 letters when you have 30 points.  There are two tabs: Neighbours and Buddies.  Unfortunately, Kaye's name did not appear and I could not add it.  The Stamina you send is not deducted from your total.

A buddy of mine completed the Photo Studio and never unlocked all 42 points.  Although she was able to create enough items in the Photo Studio, a number of the pictures proved to be duplicates.  There still are three 'accessories' that are locked!

The actual Generator at Level 4 for Orders is Camping Cart.  Use it to create a temporary generator in the form of the Luxury Barbecue Grill.  This generates 20 items of BBQ Food.

At Level 4 or 5, you obtain a third order.

At Level 6, you obtain a new Generator in the form of the Tool Kit that generates Tools.

At Level 7, you unlock the Power Boost.  It uses 2 Stamina instead of 1, but generates a higher level of item when used.

At Level 8, you unlock the first real recipe created at the Board Game Table:

At Level 10, you gain a fourth order and a higher level of generator in the form of the Camping Van.  No new items.

At Level 12, you unlock the Small Gym Bag.  It generates Baseball Gear.

At Level 14, you unlock the Toolbox that generates both Tools and Electrical Odds and Ends.

At Level 15, you unlock the Macimum Power Boost that uses 4 Stamina.  Tap the switch to the left of your Energy gauge to activate it or deactivate it.

At Level 16, you unlock the second recipe with the Tech Assembly Room:

TV Set + Lithium Battery = VR Headset

At Level 18, you unlock the Large Toy Chest.  Generates no new items, just higher levels.

At Level 20, you unlock the Camping RV.  No new items.

Level 22 unlock the Lsrge Gym Bag that generates Football Gear as well as Baseball Gear.

Level 24 unlocks the third recipe from the Sports Stadium:

Baseball Helmet + Football Jersey = Champion's Trophy

Research Techs now are unlocked by increasing your Research Lab Level.  At Level 31, you can unlock the fourth topic.

Pinkleby Map 3:

With my original Community members, I documented the first two Maps but did npt document the third that includes 9 through 12.

I am going to try to do that now by reactivating these Pinkleby Quests.

Pinkleby point totals are based on the speed with which you feed him as well as the items you use.

The requests go back and forth from 'feed anything' to a request for a specific item.

For 'feed anything', each Community member can offer 5 items per day.

For the specific item, there is no limit.

Now, there are different options in terms of obtaining the items he needs.  You can pay to buy from other farmers.  If you have not unlocked the Research Topic, that may be the only way.  As this is a Community efgort, however, by having a guide, your Community can work out who will donate what in advance.

Some of the items are made on Seaside.  These are the basic items for each Topic.  

Others are made at the appropriate 'station' in the Community.  If you have not unlocked the topic, you cannot use the station.  If you have unlocked it, you still need to increase the level of an item from zero to one to be able to make it at the station.  Best results are obtained by increasing the level of each to 4.  Do this by going to the Town Office, opening each Station menu and using your coins to increase the levels of each recipe.

Incidentally, some farmers say they found the first purchase of a Waxberry Tree as a coin purchase in the Market.  I cannot attest to this as I had one prior to this.

Note from Freyashawk:  Some one who had a seriously virulent virus took no measures to protect others and I caught it.  I never have bern so ill in mu life.  Dangerously high fever that would spike again and again and every part of my being was affected.  Terrible muscle pain.  When the fever broke, I began to cough.  Violent coughing so bad that I was coughing blood.  My vision was affected as well and still is.  All the priginal symptoms as wrll such as loss of taste.   I have not recovered fully.  Be careful.  I have heard from friends from every part of the world who also caught a bad virus recently.  In the past couple of years, the strains became milder.  In any case, please let me know if there are any errors here in the solutions.  I caught a couple myself caused by impaired vision.

Strategy Tip: (Try to avoid any of the viral infections that are rampant now.)

Serious tip: If you have reached the maximum level at your Cloud Farm, do not forget that the Energy there is the same as that used on any Treasure Island.  If you have upgraded your Fountain on the Cloud Farm to 5 water jugs, you can collect from them.  In my illness, I forgot this a few times.  Furthermore, as my game crashed every time I tried to move between the Treasure Island and Cloud Farm, that acted somewhat as a deterrent as well.

The Energy Benefit Card is useful as well, both in terms of Energy and points on the Daily Quest Path.

The Energy Shop on the Cloud farm did refresh the Double Bonus for purchases.  If you wish to convert RC to Energy, do it via this menu.

Magic Castle Quest and Witch's Hat Mission

This new 11 day quest was released in tandem with a Collection Mission.  I used to urge players to complete the Collection Mission even if unable to perform the Quest because the Quest will be available from the Lighthouse after the timer expires but the Collection Mission disappears and the Reward then must be purchased for RC.  Now, however, a premium machine is required for these Collection Missions.  I would urge the farmer to buy the required Machine, then perform the Collection Mission.  These Machines and Collectibles are needed again and again.  There are so many opportunities to earn RC now in the game, especially for high level players so please use your RC and pick yout

A gentle note of advice here: I wonder if farmers comprehend what is required when you ask another farmer to sell a large quantity of premium items to you.  There is a timer on those items and a limit of selling 10 at a time.  The labour and energy are not worth any amount of coins.  What is required is that the seller become a vending machine for a day or two, feeding the item you need into the stall.  Again and again, I uege farmers to look at the rewards for any Activity, especially Treasure Islands, becore you ignore them.  Now you can earn two premium Machines or Animals in any Treasure Island Activity.  Ome is new and the other is a 'second chance' offer from the Trader.

One more point even if I am hated for making it.  If I do not have whatever the greedy dragon needs for the day, I ignore that demand!  It is not really that inportant.  We oftem find ouraelves caught in a web when we never Choose your 'Asks' from your neighbours.  The Adventurers Fortune Badge is more important!  If you cannot obtain an item needed to complete the path, that is more worth a request than an item for your dragon.  Even that is not really necessary, although it is annoying if you cannot complete a path you began.  There is a new one each week.  You will get there in the end.

As far as Expansions are concerned, here is where you need to try to produce the item yourself if you can.  Level up all of your Island and Resort machines day by day slowly but do it.  You now will need the products again and again.  Some of us played Seaside before they released 'batch production'.  Those were difficult days, tapping again and again to gain Mastery.

If you produce a few products daily for all the Island and Resort machines, you will be glad to have the Mastery.

Finally, the Collection Mission Reward may confise farmers because there are all sorts of items with similar names on the Cloud Farm.  In this case, it is a simple Seaside Collectible.

Photo Studio Easter Egg April 2025

This walkthrough now is complete.  The only real addirion or change is the Quadruple Bonus that is unlocked at Level 17.  If you were not a fan of the Bonus Points timed incidents that only occur when your Stamiba is depleted, you can find a fast way to level up in this Bonus.  It requires 4 Stamina to use but you obtain higher level items.

The premium animal is the Easter Sheep that eats Pasture and produces Multi-Coloured Wool.  No doubt the Dragon and the weekly Adventurer's Fortune will request this randomly.  Do complete this Activity to Level 20 at least with the Pass if you feel you must complete the Fortune path and give your dragon everything it demands.

I created detailed walkthroughs for other Photo Studios.  

The Photo Studio Activities all follow the same pattern.  Please invest in the VIP Pass if you want to feed your dragon, perform the Adventurer's Fortune path on your Cloud Farm. The game now asks for the products from the VIP Pass Animals randomly.

The free rewards include a 3 Star green card, Easter Egg Ferris Wheel Avatar, 5 Star pink card, Blossom Bunny Wreath Avatar Frame, Easter Egg Pavilion Decoration.

Merge to unlock squares that show the icon of an item you have.  Fill Orders to earn Stars to increase your Level and claim the rewards.

At Level 15, new to this Photo Studio, a more powerful Power Boost is unlocked.  It uses 4 points of Stamina to generate higher levels of items.

At Level 16, you unlock the second recipe stand: Chocolate Egg Table uses Party Bunny Balloon + Simple Easter Picnic = Chocolate Egg Bunny

At Level 18, you unlock the Easter Bunny Gift Box that simply generates higher levels of existing types.

At Level 20, you unlock the Luxury Chicken Coop. No new items but higher levels are generated.

At Level 22, you unlock the Deluxe Gardening Box that generates Flowering Tree items as well as Easter Flowers.

At Level 24, you unlock the third Recipe stand: 

GardeningTool Box: Sunflower Stand + Blooming Tree = Easter Flower Basket

Your Photo Album shows you the items and generators you have unlocked and any new item unlocked will give a small reward when you tap on it in the Book.

Easter Dinner Quest and Bunny Hood Collection Mission

This is the new 11 day Quest that is released in tandem with a Collection Mission.

The reward for completing the first half is a Pink 5 Star Card.  Many farmers now may lack only a single 5 star card to complete the Collection.  It may or may not be possible to find that in a Pink 5 Star card.  I only found it with a Red 5 Star card.

I have a Facebook Group named Family Farm Seaside Freyashawk.  The group was created long ago to promote use of this site for information about the game and to have a Member List for farmers in the group.  Now there are countless Seaside grouos on Facebook.  I know many of them copy and paste shamelessly from my site.  That is not necessary and it is dishonest.  I copy nothing.  I do all the work myself, even though people occasionally have sent me quests they copied in an attempt to help.  I find I am not comfortable using information I have not collected firsthand from the game.  It is a lot of work and it is costly to me to be forced to purchase premium items in order to publish a new quest or activity as quickly as possible so other farmers can be prepared.  I never asked for money, for gift cards or even fir Friendship Flowers.  I ask that farmers vote for HM. Freyashawk.  Why?  If HM. Freyashawk ranks high, that promotes this site or reminds farmers that it exists as a resource.

If you use the Web Version of this site there is a Search box where you can find old posts about every aspect of the game.  Some, like the times for all the Stove House dishes, no longer are useful.  ALL the quests now in the Lighthouse are on this site.  The ones that were revised to give Pet Badding Rolls instead of decorations may have a few changes.  If I feel enough farmers still rely on this site, I will update those.  In the past decade, I went through more than one significant health issue that slowed me down.  I have had cancer twice now.  Due to long hours under anaesthesia for surgical procedures cause by hereditary bone degeneration, I became almost blind.  That handicapped me badly in terms of trying to keep this site updated.  I had to undergo surgical procedures for both eyes.  I do not know what the future holds but I am trying still here.  Unfortunately, votes for my farm never have been so few.  I never considered voting to be a popularity contest.  I know any one can beat me on that front.  I am not certain any one has a site more comprehensive than mine (in English) that is accessible to every one and consists of original work.  If there is, I will bow out now and be done.

So two requests here:

Please vote for HM. Freyashawk not because you like me but if you find this site useful.

If you want to recommend my Facebook group to a friend, make that farmer aware that the questions must be answered.  If a farmer does not use my site, there is no point joining my group really.  I am not looking for followers.  I am only trying to help people the one way I can at this point as an individual who is physically disabled now, by covering a game that often serves as a distraction for many from pain or serious problems in the 'real world'.

Penny's Cauldron Riddle Solutions April 2025 Ne Sha Legend

The Reward for completing all Riddles is the Immortal Mist Pond Base that is a land base and will be worth 9 votes in the Farm Beauty Contest if you do not have maximum votes yet for theme.  If you care about the Contest, it is well worth using RC to complete the riddles and claim the base for your initial screenshot for the Contest.  If it boosts your vote count by 9 each day, you will have earned either 180 or 189 theme votes by the end of the Contest.  High level players can obtain at least 1 RC daily using green mystrons.  More are earned randomly from the Daily Path Chests, your Pet chests and other regular tasks.

The story of Ne Zha 2, the most popular film in China and much of the world now:

The original Ne Zha is based on the 16th century book, 'Fengshen Yanyi' or Investiture of the Gods.

In the legend, the young boy Ne Zha is born from a heavenly pearl from the Primeval Lord of Heaven who had separated the original sentient pearl into two: a Spirit Pearl and a Demon Orb.  Unfortunately, Ne Zha is born from the Demon Orb when a disciple takes that pearl to his mother and takes the Spirit Pearl against instructions to the Dragon King.  Ne Zha's parents deceive him, declaring he was born from the Spirit Pearl in irder to imspire him to become a hero.   Like most children who are a little different, he is treated as an outcast and both hated and feared.  Prophecy declares he will bring destruction to the world.  He therefore is required to break the shackles of this fate to become a hero.

Ultimately, the message in the firat film is Ne Zha's refusal to acceot his destiny to be a demon.  He chooses instead to be a saviour.

Meanwhile, the Dragon King gives birth to a son, Ao Bing.  Later, Ne Zha and Ao Bing become friends and hunt demons together for a time.

It is a rich and complex tale.  Ne Zha is doomed to be destroyed in three year's time as the manifestation of Chaos,  but ultimately, Ne Zhe's father pleads for his son's life, desiring to trade his life for his.  

Ao Bing, the son of the Dragon realises that, should his possession of the Spirit Pearl be revealed, all of Dragonkind will be condemned forever.  

In a reversal of character, Ao Bing commits an evil and Ne Zha acts as a hero, and then spares the life of his friend.  

At the end of the original film, Ao Bing and Ne Sha join forces, absorbing the energy of the Chaos Pearl to defeat a lightning strike from heaven.  Their physical bodies cannot survive, but their sacrifice saves the people and they become spirits.

I have watched the original film.  I am not a fan either of this style of animation nor the comefic vulgarities that so enchant some children, but apart from that, the film is very inspiring.  The mother in particular is a very strong female character who acts as a warrior and a protector of her child.  In fact, both parents unconditionally love their son.  I intend to watch Ne Sha 2 when it is accessible to me.

Essentially, the legend addresses many profound themes and one of those is the ability to choose between Good and Evil, despite the 'doom' under which one is born.  There are legends in the West that deal with the same conflicts.  The friendship between Gilgamesh and Enkidu has some parallels here.

(For me personally,  it brings to mind a wonderful Japanese game from the past, Rune Factory Frontier, that ends with a victory through the power of combined singing that is unforgettable.)
