Photo Studio Activity August

This Walkthrough now is complete.

The Activity lasts 9 more days.  Any Energy and Amethysts you have at the end carry over to the next Photo Studio.

Rewards:

For the 'Free' Levels, a Pastry Chef Rhino Avatar, Pastry Shop Avatar Frame, a Hungry Puppy Decoration.

For the VIP Pass, a Pink Rhino (Animal) and a Pastry Chef Rhino.

The most important Reward is the new Animal obtained with the VIP Pass at Level 20.  The Pink Rhino eats Rice and produces Rhino Carvings.

If you are familiar with this Activity, only the items change.  If not, the one critical detail omitted in the tutorial is that any item with an energy bolt attached to it is a generator that creates the items you need for orders.

Generators become available at specific levels:

Level 1: Small Pet Bed

Level 2: Medium Pet Bed (merge Small Pet Bed).

The Medium Pet Bed produces new items in the form of Dogs.

Level 4: unlocks the Sheet Music Generator

Piano:  this is the item at maximum Level created by merging Sheet Music Items and temporarily creates its own items 

At Level 5, you receive a third order.

At Level 6, the first Recipe in the form of the Blue Elf appears:

British Shorthair Cat + Complex Note = Accordionist Kitten

At Level 7, the Power Boost is unlocked.

Flick the swirch to produce higher levels but use 2 Stamina each time

At Level 8, you obtain the Small Art Box, a new generator.

At Level 10, you can merge the Sheet Music to obtain the Level 2 Music Book.  It produces no new items.

At Level 10, you receive a 4th Order.

At Level 12, you obtain the Gardening Tool Box.  This is a generator that produces Potted Flowers.

At Level 14, yoi can merge the Small Art Box to obtain the Large Art Box.  This allows you to generate new items in the Oil Paintings category.

At Level 16, you unlock the second Recipe in the form of the Green Elf.

Shibu Inu + Medium Easel = Puppy Portrait

At Level 18, merge the Medium Pet Bed to obtain the Large Pet Bed.  It produces no new items but will generate more valuable items.

At Level 20, merge the Music Book to obtain the Music Stand.  It generates no new items.

At Level 22, you merge the Small Gardening Toolbox to create the Large Gardening Toolbox.  This allows you to geberate Gardening Tools as well as Potted Flowers.

At Level 24, I obtained the 3rd Recipe with the Red Elf.

Complex Melody + Large Flower Pot = Flower Music Box

After you reach Level 25 and contain the final Rewards, you can continue to play qnd fill orders to obtain Bonus Boxes.

Each 100 points will give you one Bonus Box.

Incidentally, I would advise players not to tap on the Treasure Island Uncle Carlos Activity until they complete the Photo Studio.  It has a five day deadline once activated and is a lot of work filling pits and such.  I am working on a separate post for that.

Strategy Tips:

As my goal is to complete the walkthrough quickly, I spend more than I otherwise would.

Essentially, there are tools that help with strategy:

Universal Card: can merge with any regular item to raise it to the next level

Splitter: can be used with any regular item to lower it to the previous level, creating two lower level items

These are given as Rewards at various levels but can be purchased as part of a bundle or in the Store inside the Activity.

The Power Boost is very useful but turn it off to get the lowest item in the chain.  There are rewards in the Photo Album for every new item you create.

You either can watch adverts to claim a bubble item or use a 'Skip Ad Ticket'.  I believe you begin with 10 tickets each day.

When should you use Amethysts to claim a bubble item?  I have no answer for that as it is a matter of how much patience you have!  I used Amethysts to complete the walkthrough quickly.

Each day, if you purchase 100 Stamina in the Store, the first purchase will cost 10 Amethysts.  The next costs 20.  The cost keeps increasing until the next day.
