Floral Alchemy and more about Flower Arranging

Last updated on 17 October with Level 15 options

I honestly cannot keep up with all the new options and their shifting modifications, but will add what I feel might be helpful to the most farmers.

First to explain a menu to farmers who may not have done much with the Floral Arrangements.

In your Flower Workshop, look for the Book icon on the lower left.

There are two tabs.  The first shows the Flowers you have collected.  The second is more useful as it shows all the different arrangements that can be nade for any Vase you have unlocked.

There are three flowers in any arrangement:
Main Flower
Accent Flower
Filler Flower

At Level 12, I received a new Vase Recipe in the form of the Butterfly Waltz.

This Vase has White or Pink Orchids as the Main Flower, Jasmine or Butterfly Pea as the Accent Flower and Wisteria or Sunflower as the Filler Flower.  There are 8 possible arrangements.  As you complete them, they will be shown in this Menu.

Instead of trying to remember the Arrangements you have made, it is useful to go to the Vase menu.
With respect to the Floral Alchemy Activity, soon after release, the developers made changes as follows:

Permanent Flower Soil Limit changed from 200 to a daily limit resetting at 0 hours.

It was said that extra Rewards have been given for those who purchased Flora Pass but I received none.

Purchase limit for Seeds in Flower Coin Shop increased.

A few gifts in a message from Felicia.

I wrote about this in the first post that dealt with Flower Arranging but many farmers still are not aware of this:

If you wish to receive a 'Like' from a visitor, you must display one arrangement in a Vase above your Pots.

Essences

Keep selling Floral arrangements to earn the various Essences.

From the Alchemy Activity, I was able to unlock new flowers and now have  unlocked the Red Carnation that will allow me to complete the next accomplishment on the Flower Card which is Elegant Relief2.

So far the new flowers that were unlocked by completing the Essences are:
Pink Carnation
Wintersweet
Nandina
Red Carnation
Champagne Carnation

Others I was able to buy but cannot use yet are:
Platycodon
Green Lisianthus
Purple Lisianthus

Note here that you unlock the new Flower in the form of the Red Carnation if you use the correct equation in the Alchemy Cauldron.  For Red Carnation, it is:
Soil x 2, Sun and Moon
For Champagne Carnation, it is Soil, Moon, Water

For Camellia, it is Soil, Moon, Earth

For Nandina it is Soil, Sun, Moon, Water and Earth

For Wintersweet it is Soil, Sun, Moon and Water.

I received the Swan Dance Vase for completing Elegant Relief2 3 stars I believe.

To fill the Swan Dance Vase:

Main Flower: Wintersweet
Accent Flower: Camellia
Filler Flower: Nandina
Floral Alchemy takes the Soil you acquire by harvesting Crops both on Seaside and the Island and using those with one or more of the Ekemental Essences you embark by obtaining Rainbow Energy whenever you sell Floral Arrangements.

200 Yellow Essence unlocks the Sun.
Blue Essence unlocks the Water.
Green Essence unlocks the Earth.

The Moon Essence is a Reward for completing the first task on the Flower Card.

Once you have all the Elementals , you can complete the Formula Manual.

Only Soil and No Essence required for the first entry that gives you Pink Carnations.

Soil, Sun, Moon, Water and Earth required for Nandina Seeds or Speed Card.

At Level 15, I was able to obtain the Swan Serenade Vase recipe and craft it.

In the Flower Workshop, 100 Green Lisanthus Seeds and 150 Platycodon Seeds were available.   Only the cash purchase of Lisianthus Seed Packs were available at a lower level.  What Level 15 did was make a vase available to arrange them and make it possible to buy the seeds individually with Flower Coins.  The Swan Serenade Vase can be filled with:
Main Flower: Green or Purple Lisianthus
Accent Flower: Wisteria or Platycodon
Filler Flower: White Baby's Breath, Forget-Me-Not, White Lily of the Valley

Niw I posted this in my other post about the new options but will add here as well.
You can buy specific flower seeds every day in the Garden Shop either for Coins or Insect Coins.

For Coins:
Dandelion Seed Packet
Hydrangea Seed Packet
Orchid Seed Packet

Each of these is only one seed but can be the common or the rare variety.

Using Insect Coins:
Jasmine Seed
White Orchid Seed
Butterfly Pea Seed
Each is only one seed but not limited to one purchase per day.
