12th Anniversary Celebration Card Rules

This year, Seaside's Anniversary Celebration revolves round collections of cards.
There are nine themes.  Each requires 9 specific cards and each has its own reward.  When you have claimed all nine, there is a final Reward that consists of 1000 Energy, 1 Rainbow Rain and a Baby Cloud Decoration that goes on your Cloud Farm.
The Baby Cloud when tapped yields 1 RC each day for 10 days and after that, it yields Energy.

There are five card types in terms of value.  Cards will be 1 Star to 5 Stars.

The first, Thorough Cleaning requires 7 specific 1 Star cards and two 2 Star Cards.

Farm Renovation requires 6 specific 1 Star Cards and three 2 Star Cards.

Market Shopping requires 5 specific 1 Star cards and four 2 Star cards.

Harvest Time requires 4 specific 1 Star Cards, three 2 Star Cards and two 3 Star Cards.

Tending the Garden is the first theme that requires a 4 Star Card.  It requires three 1 Star, two 2 Star, three 3 Star and one 4 Star.

Festive Delicacies requires three 2 Star, three 3 Star, two 4 Star and one 5 Star.

Beach Time requires two 2 Star, three 3 Srar, three 4 Star and 1 Five Star.

Float Parade requires three 3 Star, three 4 Star and three 5 Star.

Celebration Party requires two 3 Star, three 4 Star and four 5 Star cards.

Cards are acquired through the following:
From all four of the Daily Quest chests
From the Dedicated Farmer Bonus
From the first 5 Orders on the Order Board that have a gold background
From the eighth step of the current 11 day quest.

From the Photo Studio VIP Pass

In the Cloud Farm, you can earn them from the following:
Reward boxes in the Bazaar
From the Zeppelin
From completing the Adventurer's Fortune

From cash purchases:
You can buy card pack bundles from the 5th tab of the Card Menu.  You can obtain them with purchases of RC.  You can obtain them in special sales offers from activities like the Photo Studuo

Finally, the total number of cards you obtain can earn cards as rewards in 5 timed events in the 4th tab of the Card menu.  In these events, there are star level requirements.

We now are in the second event.  1 Star cards will not count towards the necessary totals in this event.
15 cards gives a 3 Star card
30 gives a 4 Star card
50 gives a 4 Star card
70 gives a 5 Star card

Total cards from 2 Star through 5 Star count towards every total in this event.

In the next event, only 3 Star through 5 Star cards will count.
That event ends on the 7th.
10 cards for one 4 Star card
20 cards for one 5 Star card
40 cards for one 5 Star card
60 cards for one 5 Star card

In the final event, only 3 Star through 5 Star cards count.
10 cards gives a 4 Ztar card
20 cards give a 5 Star card
40 cards give a 5 Star card
60 cards give a 5 Star card.

As you can see, you can use your totals to redeem the 4 and 5 Star cards you need.
Most of the cards you receive from daily tasks will be lower Star values.  All in all, if you redeem the required totals for each event, you will obtain five 4 Star cards and eight 5 Star cards.  You may receive some duplicates, but I found that most of the 4 and 5 Star cards I obtained were cards I actually needed.

When people suggest you do not open all of your cards, make cwrtain you complete all the totals for the current 4th tab event first!  There is no point im losing a potential four or five Star card by keeping cards unopened.

If you look at the theme requirements and event requirements, you will realise that once you receive all of the specified 1 Star cards needed for the themes, they have absolutely no value as they do not even count towards totals at this point.  In the next event, the 2 Star cards, if not needed to complete a theme still, no longer have any value either.

You always can purcahse a 4 or 5 Star card pack.  Just make certain that is what you are buying.  The Star value should be displayed on the offer.  Just be aware that the picture of Darryl holding a 5 Star card is only an advert.  It can be misleading.

Other ways to collect cards:
The zecond tab of the menu gives one card each day.  Near the end, the cards you receive will be mainly 4 Star.  The very last one will be 5 Star.

I hope this helps!

Halloween Parade Quest and Skull Collection Mission

Note from Freyashawk:  As ever, your votes for my farm in the Farm Beauty Contest are a measure of how useful this site still is, but although I have a Facebook Group for Seaside, access to this site does not require membership or anything else.  The information always have been freely available and I receive no money from Google either.  As I hate advertising, I do not allow it on my sites.
I wish to thank farmers for every single vote I receive.
I missed being 10th this time only by 400 votes.  In an ideal world, I would have made it this time if obly to obtain the Crowned Pirate Cat avatar.  You see, back in the day, I created custom levels for a game called Claw and wrote stories for my levels.  My 4 year old daughter fell in live wirh the dashing pirate cat, Captain Claw and vowed to marry him.  The developers of the game were beyond kind and sent her an original drawing of the Captain and a shirt made for a child with a sweet note.  Long Live our Heroes!

Seriously though, my primary reason for wanting HM. Freyashawk to rank is the association of my name with game strategy guides.  So I thank you all for your votes.

This quest has a reward in the form of a 5 Star Card packet.  Many high level farmers especially probably have earned every card required to collect the Anniversary Rewards except for a couple of 5 Star cards.  You can earn one of those here.

Note that the Rewards will not refresh according to Support.

12th Anniversary Card Packets:

You can obtain Card Packets daily by claiming one from the first tqb in the Card menu, filling the first 5 Orders on the Order Board (gold background), from the Daily Quest chests, and from Cloud Farm rewards.  The Zeppelin gives a card packet.  Reward chests in the Bazaar give card packets.  Other card packets are found in the Photo Studio, in the VIP Pass, in the Adventurer's Fortune.
Finally, the fourth tab in the Card menu counts your card totals.  These totals accrue in a time limited way so watch the timer.  Redeem all four rows if possible before thw timer expires.
There are four timed events here.  One has ended.  The current event ends on 30 October.  There are two in November.
There is a gap between events.  When this occurs, do not open any cards.  Save them for the next event.  For farmers, redeeming the last row's reward gives a 5 Star card, possibly the only one you will need.  The last two events in November each give 2 Five Star card packets.

Photo Studio 12th Anniversary

This is a detailed Walkthrough for the current Photo Studio Activity.  It now is complete through Level 25.

Note that, once you reach Level 25, and collect the final Prizes in the form of the Festive Tent Decoration and the Elephant Princess Decoration, you can collect a gift box each time you reach 100 points after that.  Mine contained 30 Energy and 50 OP.  Not really equal to the Ebergy expended I fear.
(My game froze at the tutorial this time.  So that was fun.  What confused me a little was that the Single Admission Ticket in fact is your first generator.  It does not look like one!  And with all the other 'tickets' flying about the farm at this point in time, I think it was a confusing choice.)

But here is the only tip that counts: any item with an Energy bolt at the bottom right is a Generator.

You can merge the Single Admission Ticket to a higher Generator as soon as you reach Level 2.  You then can generate another class of item.

The Level 1 Single Amusement Ticket creates Amusement Rides.

The Level 2 Admission Ticket for Two generates Childhood Toys as well.

The Menu, for a first time player is important to understand.

Your Level is on the top left.  Tap the Star to see the Rewards as you advance and purchase the VIP Pass.  In my opinion, either you get all the Rewards available in a long Activity or do not bother at all.  I know many players do simply get what they can without investing any real money, but  when you do that, you always miss out on either a special new Animal or Machine and then you are bedevilled forever with game requests for the product/s it produces.  In this Activity, the VIP Pass gives you the Big-Eared Elephant at Level 20.  The final level is 25 and gives cleanable decorations both for the Free Pass and the VIP.

The Big Eared Elephant eats Toffee Apples and gives Elephant Neck Pillows.

The Free Pass actually gives you an Avatar and Frame as well.

The VIP Pass will give you a couple of card packs as Rewards, in the form of 4 star and 5 star packs.  Other card packs are available as part of special offers through the Activity and are varying Star values.

The board is in the centre obviously and level increases unlock more squares and generators.

Orders appear to the left of the board and the number of Orders will increase with Level increases.

On the right is a box that identifies whatever item on the Board that you tap.  This cqn be useful when you tap the little 'i' that gives you all the details about it.  In fact that takes you to the Photo Album that shows all the items in the game and the chains of generation for each type and givves little rewards each time you unlock a new item.

You can access the Photo Album by tapping on the book as well.

To the left of the Book is a camera or backpack.  5his is storage with eight squares.  You can use gems to expand this if you feel more space is needed.

Energy and Gem totals are at the top right.  Tap the plus sign to acquire more.  Gems can be converted to Energy.  RC can be converted to Gems and then converted to Energy.

Note that tapoing the plus sign after the Energy total will take you to the Store.  Here the first purchase of 100 Energy each day costs 10 Gems.  The second purchase costs 20 Gems... and the price increases.  You can gamble instead on a Stamina Chest for 12 Gems.  That price doubles as well to 24 gems for a second purchase.
I bought one to log the contents and it contained the following:
15 Stamina, 40 Stamina, 25 Stamina, 2 Stamina, 15 Stamina.

I actually suggest that, if you need Energy, you buy 100 Stamina for 10 RC and 1 Stamina Chest fir 12 Gems each day and refrain from the purchases when the prices double.

This is a Merge game.  Energy too can be merged when it appears on the Board.  It is instinctive to merge every item possible, but be aware of the actual Orders that often want a lower level item.  I usually create one of the item in the chain at the highest level and then store that until it is demanded as an Order.

Be aware that you can tap on the revolving arrow on the top right of any Order to change it.

There are various special tools available.

The Universal Card that looks like a wand can be merged with any regular item to create an item at the next level.

The Splitter that looks like Scissors can be used on any regular item to reduce it to the next level below it in the chain.

Warning:  sometimes when you generate an item, an extra one will appear in a bubble.  You can use gems to burst the Bubble to obtain an item you can use.  This can be useful but it can be expensive.  I think I was induced to use far too many gems on the 'bubbles' in previous Photo Studios.  Now I I ignore most of them.  Only if the item is top level and difficult to generate do I consider popping a bubble now.

You can use an Ad Skip Card or watch an advert each day a specified number of times to pop the bubble as well.  This is worthwhile but try to use those for the items with higher values.

LIST OF GENERATORS
Level 1: Single Admission Ticket
Level 2: Admission Ticket for Two
Level 4: Basic Dessert Table
This Generator also allows you to create a temporary Generator in the form of the Two-Tiered Cake.
Level 8: Floor Mirror
Level 10: Intermediate Dessert Table
Level 12: Simple Dining Table
Level 14: Vanity Mirror
Level 18: Family Admissions Ticket
Level 20: Advanced Dessert Table
Level 22: Elegant Dining Table

LIST OF RECIPES:
Level 6: Blue Festive Box
Level 16: Green Festive Box
Level 24: Purple Festive Box

SPECIAL POWER:
Level 7: Power Boost

COMPLETE WALKTHROUGH:

At Level 2, you unlock the Admission Ticket for Two.
This allows to to create both the Amusement Rides and the Chikdhood Toys.

At Level 4, you unlock the next Generator in the form of the Basic Dessert Table that creates Cakes.  At Max Level, the Two-Tiered Cake is created.  This is a temporary Generator that produces items in the Birthday Essentials chain.  Temporary Generators create a specific number of items before disappearing.  You therefore need to keep creating them.  I think I counted a total of 20 items but will confirm.

Sometimes the temporary Generator itself will be requested in an Order.  I try to keep one that has exhausted itself for this purpose.  If you see an Order and do not have one on hand, create it and then generate as many items from it as you can before using it for the Order.

At Level 5, you unlock a third Order.

At Level 6, you unlock the first Recipe in the form of the Blue Festive Box
Uses Circus Tent + Party Horn= Party Popper

At Level 7, you receive card packets: 5 star for VIP and 3 star for Free.

More importantly, you unlock the Power Boost.  By switching it on, you produce a higher level of item.  It does consume 2 points of Stamina instead of 1 for each action.

At Level 8, you unlock a new Generator in the form of the Floor Mirror that produces Accessories.

At Level 10, you unlock the Level 2 Intermediate Dessert Table.  This generates higher levels of Cakes.  Nothing new.

You have four Orders now.

Over halfway through Level 11, the double boost for Orders activated for the first time for 15 minutes.

At Level 12, the Simple Dining Table is unlocked.  It is a generator that produces Party Drinks.

At Level 14, you unlock the Level 2 Vanity Mirror Generator.  This produces both Accessories and aFormal Wear.

.At Level 16, you unlock the second Recipe in the form of the Green Festive Box.
Building Blocks + Skirt= Anniversary Cow

At Level 16, at 183 points, the Double Bonus activated for 15 minutes.

At Level 18, unlock the Family Admissions Ticket.  No new items generated, just higher level items.

At Level 19, at 71 points, the Double Bonus activated for 15 minutes.

(You may not want to read this, but every time it activated, a surprise special cash bundle activated as well.  They all activated when I was almost our of Energy.)

At Level 20, unlock the Level 3 Advanced Dessert Table.  No new items produced.

At Level 21, 75 points, another 15 minute Double Bonus activated.

At Level 22, the Level 2 Elegant Dining Table was unlocked.  It produces Party Dishes as well as Party Drinks.

At 121 points for Level 23, the final 15 minute Double Bonus activated.  At the same time, another Surprise Sake that would expire at the sane time as the Double Bonus expired activated.  I have given the points at which all the Double Bonus events activated.  It may or may not be the same for other farmers.  It always coincided for me with a point at which my Energy was less than 100.

At Level 24, I unlocked the third Recipe in the form of the Purple Festive Box.
Intermediate Cocktail + Roast Turkey= Party Feast

Happy 12th Anniversary Quest and Party Cracker Collection

Note from Freyashawk: In a recent discussion in my Facebook Group, we protested against the constant demand for Oak Wood and Oak products in every timed quest.  There is no demand for Oak in this one.  In the event that the developers took notice of our feelings about this, I wish to thank them!

Another point: I have written a walkthrough on this site for the new Cloud Farm through Level 8.  I have been skeptical about the usefulness of the Cloud Lab techs but today I realised that was from my perspective as a fairly high lebel farmer who has played for 12 years.  I apologise.  I always have tried to consider the new or low level farmers and how they are impacted.  Actually I made an error here, however.   In the case of the Batch fill Tech, I think this might be quite useful especially on the Island as you can tap once to fill any Animal or Machine instead of using OP.  Island animals and machines use a great deal of OP.  Unfortunately, it is the rather useless Batch Fill tech that can be unlocked at Cloud Lab Level 3 for the Island.  Batch Fill would be an alternative for farmers who needed to conserve OP.  One problem, of course, is that the Cloud Farm Lab has to be upgraded to Level 3 before any Island techs can be unlocked.
What is counterproductive abour Batch Pick up is that it picks up everything with a single tap.  God forbid you try to set machines or animals for tasks in advance with that tech activated!
